Ming was rolling about outside the den and the sun had just reached its peak in the sky. Even though the sun’s rays were beaming straight down on her. There was a nice cool breeze that would come by very often. It was generally the perfect day for play. Ming was the type of cub to wake before the crack of dawn and not want to sleep till the stars were in the sky. Even then her mother would have to drag her in to bed.
Normally she would wonder around with her sister Lin; but Lin always wanted to sleep in the tall grass or loaf around lethargily. But it was okay Ming understood that her siblings weren’t all as playful as her.
Ming was currently trying to jump on this boulder next to the den. It was quite big, well for a cub of her size. She was a few yards away with her butt up in the air swaying from side to side as she glared doe nth boulder. She was going to make it and she wouldn’t give up till her did. She kicked off the ground with her back paws and began a small sprint and with a sudden flash she kicked off the ground again and leaped onto the boulder barely making it. She had to pull herself up from the edge a little. But she made it.
