Kiwi is the brightest colored of her family. Growing up she always heard her brothers getting praise with how beautiful they looked, tho when others would see her they would typically respond with 'Oh... your... pretty'. It didnt take her long to figure out that she was considered rather ugly compared to her brothers, and not wanted as much as they were.
Because of such, Kiwi grew jaded at a young age and grew distant from others. She is very easily swayed by those that show her any true attention, making her easy to fool. She struggles to find her place in things, tho she is not bitter, she is often confused by her own thoughts and feelings on things.

She set off on her own, making friends very quickly with Pandora. Since they were the same age and in the same herd, they naturally gravitated to each other. It was easy for her to often hide behind the more vocal and outgoing Pandora. When she set off, she ran across a stallion, Khajag, who had recently been left a single father of three baskets.
Kiwi's curiosity made her a quick friend of the stallion, and she soon found herself looking over the basket as if it were her own, even if she was at a young age. Along with the friendship of Khaj, came her first 'crush' as it was the first time really anyone other than Pandora showed her any bit of kindness. She spent her time tending to the basket, growing closer to Khaj, still unaware of his sexual preference and still with her crush on him.
Soon after she reached young adulthood, she and Pandora were approached by a male of a breed neither of them had seen before. The male spared no time in charming Kiwi, luring her away from her family and home long enough to entrap her. The Kalona stallion, Disillusion, had 'tamed' his new pet, luring her to believe that he alone would care for her and protect her. He twisted her self doubt against her and now she spends most of her time by his side. Tho she is afraid of him and confused by it all, she finds a strange sort of comfort by his dominance.
