Private rp between myself and AlexiaSilver. "I'm not really sure where Godric would be, to be honest." The cream mare said, frowning and swishing her tail. "Maybe check around the lake? Since that was where we'd last been.""Hmmm...But if he, err, spooked and fled after attacking you, there's no saying where he'd gotten to. Especially after such a long period of time." The saddled mare frowned and flicked an ear. It had been months since the attack and subsequent pregnancy. "But I will check."Sunshine gave a sigh of relief, visibly relaxing at the words. "Thank you. Just....Just be very careful. I don't know what he'll be like if...when you find him. So please be careful." She said again, touching noses with the grey mare lightly.Kalen'dri snorted in amusement, grinning. "That's why I'm going instead of one of these clumsy oafs." She chuckled, tossing her head in the direction of the stallions lurking about in the clearing behind them. 'Not to mention I can defend myself better.' She thought soberly, smiling reassuringly at the fluffy mare before turning and trotting off, leaving Sunshine to make her way to the lake to wait.~~~~~~ Kalen'dri recalled the earlier conversation and gave a large sigh, ears flicking and eyes scanning the trees, alert for any signs that this skinwalker Godric might still be in the area. She'd been travelling for weeks now with no sign. While it had been months since he was last seen around the lake, if he'd chosen this area as his territory, it was likely he'd be here somewhere. In her wanderings, she'd crossed paths with other walkers, thankfully not face-to-face encounters, but rather the aftermaths of their sport. So she'd expected to have run across a kill or two by now as she'd made her way around the lake and into the surrounding forests, but there had been nothing. It was enough to make the fur on the back of her neck ridge. Who ever heard of an immaculate skinwalker? But then, there was a first for everything....unless he hadn't yet fed. The thought of which didn't make her feel any better about this task. So she stayed alert, muscles tense for flight incase he popped out at her from the surrounding brush. He had to be around somewhere. ...."Godric?" As much as she didn't want to alert herself to his attention, if she hadn't already, hopefully calling his name would keep him from jumping down on her and trying to tear her throat out.....hopefully.

Stalked silently through the trees, the blood from his last kill still staining his mouth a damp red. It had sated his ravenous hunger, and calmed his mind. The deer wasn't much, but it went down easy in his crazed state. The muscles of his arms still shook from his transformation back into a Soquili. He had gotten used to the strain that it caused upon his body, and the odd muscle twitches that came with the steadying of his body. His stomach felt much larger after phasing from cat to horse, and he was happy that he had over indulged this time, less he still have room for more. The past few months had gone by without notice to Godric. He continued a mindless ritual; hunt, eat, rest, repeat. He hadn't dared try to befriend another soquili after the incident that had taken place awhile back. Instead, when coming upon another Soquili during a hunt, he'd make it quick, snapping their neck before they could even scream. It was painless, and efficient. Getting to know his food before eating them was... cruel. Needlessly cruel. "Pointless," Godric grumbled under his breath. His voice was scratchy like gravel, from having nothing to talk to for so long. Unlike usual, he wasn't paying attention to where he was going, until catching a certain scent in the air. 'The Pond,' Godric looked up, finding himself at the treeline looking out to the water. Memories flashed through his brain, and he closed his eyes. Almost nothing had changed since that night. Like some unknown force wanted him to remember back to what had happened. "Bullshit," Turning to leave, Godric took one step forwards before pausing. He could swear that something just.... Looking back, Godric spotted something that he hadn't caught before. A white horned female just a few steady paces away from him. How hadn't he noticed. Stupid place distracting him. She had called out his name, hadn't she? Green eyes narrowed. What business would she have with him? Growling threateningly, Godric showed himself, stepping out of the brush into her view. "You called?" He hissed, his eyes sizing her up. She would have made a lovely meal had he not just ate.

She blinked and caught movement from the corner of her eye. Tilting her head slightly, she watched the stallion with the grey spotted pelt pace smoothly through the trees quite close. Nostrils flaring, she took in his scent, catching musk and blood. Muscles tense, the horned mare stayed still, wondering if this was the male she was seeking, or did she just have the bad luck to cross paths with another walker. If she hadn't seen him, his sudden scratchy hiss would've made her jump nearly out of her skin. As it was, Kalen'dri swivelled her head and took a few light steps sideways as he slid out of the brush next to her. For such a large creature, he sure moved damned softly. But then, he wouldn't be an effecient hunter if he wasn't silent. Flicking her short tail, she eyed him just a closely as he eyed her. "I did. Sunshine sent me to find you.....You have responsibilities you've left behind." She said laying an ear back, frowing slightly. ".....and you have blood on your muzzle." Her mouth pulled down distastefully, but she waited quietly for his response.

His heart skipped a beat, as shock flashed through the horned mare's eyes. She likely would have been dead by now, had she not called out his name. Godric restrained himself from making accusations. He didn't get visitors often (Ever), and he would try his best to be patient with her. His ears perked at the sound of his 'old' friend's name. What did she have to do with Sunshine? A small unidentified pain tugged at Godric's heart. Did she send this mare after him to extract revenge because of what he had done? No, she wasn't the type. 'Unless you broke her,' Godric scowled. And what was this talk of responsibilities? She was uncomfortable with the blood on his face? His lips stretching out into a sharp toothed smile. "Do I?" He chuckled, his insides flipping at the sight of her fear. His eyes flashed before he decided to give the scared mare a break. Reaching down- yet never breaking eye contact- he wiped his muzzel upon the grass. "Did I get it all?" he smirked, stepping closer so that she could see clearly. "You must excuse me," He hissed, taking a step back "I just ate" And how lucky she was that he had. Godric was tempted to tell her what his meal was, and how delicious it had tasted, but he feared that it might cause the mare to run. Then he'd never find out what 'responsibilities' she was speaking of.

It wasn't so much as she was uncomfortable with it. She just thought it was...well, icky and unsanitary. She snorted and rolled her eyes as he chuckled, knowing he was enjoying seeing her unnerved, but that would be the predator about him. What Sunshine saw in the skinwalker, Kalen'dri couldn't comprehend. But then, the thick furred mare probly didn't expect to have to bear the burden of children with the brute either. Lip curled, she eyed his face and nodded. "Your face is clean.".....'But what about your soul, you bully?' She thought to herself, unable to keep the distaste from her eyes. "And you're excused. I hope you ate well, we have some travelling to do." Her tone of voice was clipped, impatient with his shows of intimidation. "If you would please follow me. I am weary of this errand and Sunshine is waiting for you." Kalen'dri was umimpressed with his scare tactics, having encountered scarier creatures than him. And after travelling so long, she wished for nothing more than to return home to rest. The mare turned and glanced sideways, short tail flicking, obviously expecting him to follow her.

Godric's lips turned down at the sight of her disgust towards him. It wasn't the reaction that he had been expecting. Why wasn't she more afraid? If Sunshine hadn't been apart of this, he would have considered persisting, but at this point he just wanted to know what was wrong. What felt like his 'heart' jumped at the news that his Sunshine was waiting for him. 'It could just be a trap,' his conscious spoke. This mare was using his weakness to draw him in... Sunshine likely had nothing to do with this. But would he risk it if she was telling the truth? To see her again. 'Yes' his mind told him. It was worth it. It was foolish enough for her to turn her back to him, and he was tempted to lash out just to prove a point. But the anticipation of seeing Sunshine again held him back, and instead of showing the mare violence, he quieted and fell into step behind her. Had she been leading him into a trap, he'd be close enough to finish her off before anything could take him down. "And how far away is my lovely Sunshine?" He purred, eying her rump and resisting the temptation to n** at her bottom. Maybe just a small love bite would be fine...

When he started to follow, she turned her back completely to him and started walking. But she kept one ear tilted back towards him. If she didn't have to lead him, the mare would have made him walk infront of her. At the question, she looked over the lake, considering. "The other side. About where you left her to bleed to death I believe." She replied simply, glancing over her shoulder at him. "And kitty, if you take a bite out of me, I'll kick your face in." She said with mock sweetness, laying her ears back and baring her teeth in a challenging grin.

Godric paused, his mouth slightly open from getting ready to n**. The mare must have had eyes in the back of her head to have noticed that. Closing his mouth, Godric straightened up and frowned. The challenge she offered normally would have excited him, but what she had said before the threat bothered him. Why would Sunshine linger in such a place? It bothered him to even travel near the lake, the memories of what he had done still caused him a rather annoying pain. He had avoided it for so long, and now he was being led back to the exact place of the event. He walked in silence, keeping his eyes glued to her hooves. There was no way she would catch him off guard if she had suddenly changed her mind and decided to kick him. His mind tried keeping out the memories that plagued him from that night. The sight of her passed out form on the ground, scratches and bite marks scattered across her pelt. For weeks he had believed that she was dead. He hadn't ever had the gut to find out otherwise.

Why the cream mare stayed in a place that caused her such pain was a mystery and known only to her. Kalen'dri wasn't on to pry unnecessarily, especially on so tender a subject. Kalen'dri couldn't help but give an amused grin at the picture of him with his mouth hanging open before she turned back around and picked up her pace. Because at the slow rate they were going, she'd bring him back to full grown children. A question teased at her mind as they travelled and she couldn't help but to ask, despite being determined not to speak with the walker more than needed. "Are you a coward?" Came the sudden question, a sidelong look from the corner of icy blue eyes catching his gaze. "Or did you just not care to see if she had survived?" Kalen'dri continued, the tack she wore jingling slightly as she moved.

He hadn't even noticed that he had fallen into a steady pace at her side until she spoke. Rage bubbled up in his chest, and he let out a angry snarl. His teeth clenched shut, trying his best to not tear this mare's neck open. She had to be special to Sunshine in some way, and he wouldn't want to upset her further by killing a friend. "That's no concern to you, nag" He growled through his teeth. Godric usually wasn't prone to name calling or swearing in general, but for now he'd take out his anger in any way that he could. He had cared as much as he could. The pain of what he had done had kept him away, and in truth Godric knew that what he had done was considered cowardly. But how could he show himself to her after that? Or to find that he had killed her? Any small trace of his sanity would be erased, and he'd turn into the bloodthirsty beast that everyone else thought he was.

"Hmmmm. It must be the first. Since you wouldn't be coming with me if it were the second." She replied, glancing at him with disinterest, feeling his rage. "Beneath that beastly, brutish exterior, some part of you must care. Though I fail to see why she would, after what you did." Kalen'dri shrugged and continued to jog along. "You know she almost died. As much from blood loss as from emotional causes. You should be honored to know Sunshine wishes you to be apart of their lives. I know I wouldn't have been so forgiving." Kalen'dri quieted before glancing at the walker again, brow raised. "Maybe it isn't cowardice you have, but fear of facing her again?"

A constant rumble settled in his throat. She obviously wasn't going to hold back her opinions on the matter, even though the desire to rip her throat out grew with each word. It struck him how he had hurt her more than he had imagined. Of course his delicate Sunshine wouldn't have escaped without keeping her gentle innocence. He had stolen that from her, and didn't even bother to make sure that she was okay.
Though after all that the mare said, two words stuck out amongst the others. 'Their lives' He wouldn't deny himself what that had to have meant but it seemed impossible. After almost dying how could she have conceived? Such trauma upon her body and mind shouldn't have allowed such a thing to happen. Godric would have denied it out loud if he knew it wouldn't have sent the mare off into a bigger b***h-fest. He would have to wait and see what she was talking about. Until then a doubt lingered in his mind.
"Maybe," He admitted gruffly, his eyes still glaring towards her. Hopefully that would shut her up. He had questions, but knew that they would wait. This mare didn't believe that he should have the privilege to see Sunshine's children.

Kalen'dri gave a disdainful snort at his reply, shaking her head. She wouldn't press her luck, since her words had the feeling of running against a wall for all their effectiveness. At least, past pissing the walker off. But then, if he couldn't see her words for more than something that annoyed him, then he was proving her right by being nothing more than a brute. "Lets get this over with. I tire of your company." She said with a sigh, tossing her head and starting into an easy lope that would cover ground quicker then their pace before. Hopefully Sunshine hadn't moved since Kalen'dri had left her.

He couldn't resist rolling his eyes at her complaint. 'Back at you,' His pace keeping up with her own. As much as he felt like laying down and straightening things out in his mind, Godric knew that the faster they arrived, the soon he'd find his answers. His frown grew as he fell once again into his thoughts, ignoring the small pang of hunger in his stomach. Before nightfall, he'd have to hunt.

~Time warping!~ The travelling took longer than the grey mare would have liked. But she'd rather have the walker well fed than hungry. She was having enough trouble getting sleep with him around without worrying about him trying to eat her in the night. It was a welcome relief to reach her own stretch of the lake, since it meant that she could ditch the brute. It took some searching since Sunshine was, predictibly not where Kalen'dri had left her. "You could probly find her better with that nose of yours." She snorted, glancing over her shoulder at the walker before looking away to scan the area. It wasn't long before the grey mare caught a familiar scent, ears perking. There in the trees she spotted Ciar, Sunshine's self appointed protector since he'd found her in the forest. It amused the group that the young stallion had become so protective over something. It he was around, Sunshine wasn't far....."There." She pointed out, gesturing with her muzzle to the sun dappled shade of the trees. Sunshine dozed, curled in a patch of sun, her tail covering two small foals tucked up against her side. They must not have been out long, since shreds of wicker still littered the ground close by. "Don't you dare hurt any of them." Kalen'dri warned, fixing Godric with a look before pacing off to talk with the stallion lurking protectively nearby, clearly intending Godric to confront Sunshine by himself. Sunshine dozed, comforted by the warmth of the sun and the two small foals at her side. Voices drifted her way on the wind and she twitched an ear, slitting her eyes open and raising her head to seek out the owners of the voices. It wasn't Ciar, she hadn't seen him all day. Her eyes found Kalen'dri first then the pelted imposing form of the stallion that had been on her mind for so many months. She shivered, images and memories warring against each other in her mind. Talking, watching fireflies, claws, blood, pain. She sighed, her whole body seeming to droop before she took a deep breath. One of the foals stirred in their sleep and she absently nudged them, calming them back into slumber before calming herself. If she was adgitated, they'd pick up on that and the fluffy mare didn't want them woken in such a way. Pushing the bad memories away, she lifted her head and waited for the stallion to come to her.
