Daisuke wandered down the school halls a little less than enthusiastically, a few students were still lingering around, probably catching up on some late studying which was way-over-due too. He'd managed to fall a little behind and after spending the entire evening catching up, he now just wanted to get back to his dorm room and chill out. He refused to look at another book today. Maybe he could take Airi out on a walk instead... He imagined her running up the walls of his dorm in boredom being stuck there alone all day. He shrugged his shoulders loosely to himself , sighing in thought. Pushing through the main exit, no sooner the campus grounds smothered the wisps vision. He let his eyes lazily roll to the paths that intertwined and lead to other sections of campus, then back to the direction of his dorm.

'I'll take a walk to clear my head first. Airi will be unbearably clingy when I go back....'
He knitted his eyebrows in 'meh' fashion before making his way down the path that lead over towards the side he hadn't really seen or learned much about yet. First thing that came in to view was the Undead dorms, passing the path that broke off and lead towards the Victorian themed building. He paused at the cross road for a moment and took the time to study it's unique build. He had never entered anyones dorm space before, his curiosity over them kept growing but he never dared venture towards any other than his own, not including the monster dorms forest; so he kept going...

Next up was the demon dorms and thankfully, he could sort of catch a glimpse of the stone building that belonged to the reapers too... Although, he wasn't really planning on sticking around long... He imagined the two dorms were a like in some way, being dressed up in all kinds of fancy ornaments and rich colours, unlike the Mausoleum which was plain and uninteresting compared to the others.

Arachne had been outside more often than not lately. She'd grown tired of the four walls of her dorm room, and readings weren't going well. She wondered if it had much to do with the fact that she was still in only one class, having signed up for music class out of sheer desperation. Of course she was about as musical as her skitters, and was not looking forward to when the actual lessons started but it was at least something.

She bent, one hand against the wall of the dorm building, the other extending out towards the ground, and her two skitters scurried up, one after the other up her arm and onto to her shoulder to make webs across her hood again. As she straightened, she happened to glance across the ground and saw, well just saw, a boil, a ghost she thought, walking along the path that led towards the dorms. One of her skitters poked her in the cheek with a leg and she rolled her eyes; even her pets were on at her to be more social, and so she stepped forwards, walking over to intercept his path.

As he was rounding the path, he saw a figure from the corner of his eye move closer, his pace slowed and his eyes took to the one that stopped in his way. He studied her pale features and red, rich clothing. He ducked his head a little nervously. Trust! He wondered if they had caught on to his curiosity and was about to scold him or ask him what he was doing, which instantly made him a little nervous of the ghoul. He guessed being so close to the Demon dorms, she must of been a demon. Right, neither of them had said anything yet and now he was just stood staring at her...

"H-hey."
He tossed her a weak smile, probably giving him a way as his eyes found interest in the creature that was next to her. A skitter? That was unusual, he hadn't met anyone with one of those yet! Now feeling a little more, enthusiastic about her stepping forth and a little less weary of previous thoughts he moved closer causally.

"I was just coming around to see what the Demon dorms looked like, I haven't seen this part of campus yet." He pointed past her, then moved his arm back to his side. "Are those your companions? They're very neat." He was surprised it was a ghoul which didn't mind having them near or around her, unless it had crawled there and she hadn't noticed or just didn't care... Which could be possible too but there was doubts on those theories. She looked too content with it's presence.

"I'm Daisuke." He held out his hand to her in greeting, offering a more pleasant smile.

'Hello.' Arachne replied, noticing right off the bat that he seemed very nervous, more so than anyone else she'd met so far. A nervous ghost? That was new..

'No? I can't imagine that one building seems more interesting than the next, the inhabitants are the ones of interest.' she said with a little look at the boil.

'Oh the skitters? Yes.' she raised a hand to her hood and one crawled onto the back of her glove, waving a leg at the boil.

'They are, but I have general affinity with spiders anyway. And don't ask their names, they don't have them.'
The skitter ran back up her arm as she lowered it to return to making its web.

Arachne looked at the offered hand for a moment, wondering how it would feel to shake hands with a ghost, as this was about the closest she'd gotten. She wouldn't feel it anyway with gloves on but it was curious.
She returned the shake.
'Arachne.'

She wondered if it was possible to see the future of someone already dead - she'd never actually read for one, and it would be intriguing to see what would happen, if anything.

Daisuke couldn't really find the logic to it. He tilted his head, fumbling an 'ah expression. "That's true, in some form however the fact that the inhabitants are the one of interest, where they keep themselves also become a form of interest and I find that knowing where they come from and what their surroundings are, explains a little bit more about a boil, or ghoul no matter what faction they're from." It couldn't be helped, it had been a sentence that could lead to a debate and from experience, Daisuke just had to jump straight in to it. He loved debates or things you could ramble on about for hours...

When the demon ghoul let one of the skitters run on to the back of her palm and explained it had no name, he wondered exactly why not. He could never imagine having Airi around nameless. Perhaps they communicated in different ways? She did just say she had an affinity with them... He watched it give a little wave, then scurry back to it's nest, so to speak.

"Pleasure to meet you, Arachne and... Your friend there.
" He hadn't thought much of how the other would feel about shaking hands with a ghost at all, he seemed to hop over these borderlines too often and kept skipping over pebble stones by accident... The shake seemed 'off' as sorts.

He looked around the empty grounds, then back at the ghoul. "So, what brings you out here?"

'Really? You think so?' Arachne thought on his words before answering, the two skitters hard at work making an intricate spider web all down her back starting from her hood.

'What do my surroundings tell you about me then? After all, you really should only be able to say that I am a demon and little more.' she tilted her head carefully, ever mindful of her little friends on her back.

'Really, why should I give silly pet names to something that is able to make such marvellous patterns with such a fine material? I don't need to put a label on them to know them.' she said, noting his reaction to them not having names.

'My skitters do, they were hungry and have consumed all the flies that were foolish enough to buzz into my room.'

He thought about her reaction and her fine questioning back. He smiled a little wider as the topic continued and he adjusted his glasses briefly studying her, trying to file together what he could 'piece' together after the short greeting. "I suppose from your surroundings, and through our meeting so far, that you keep to yourself more than not. Your close with your companions." He gestured to the creatures as a more obvious observation and then tapped his chin with a finger considering more options. "I'd say your probably pretty good at working around things, and can be relatively convincing... Hmm your not one to sugar-coat things maybe. "

He just got the feeling. He wasn't sure if he was right or not but, she did well at keeping a straight face, he didn't want to just come out and say 'giving off false pretense' to describe the intuition since it was a bit drastic however, he was also pulling this logic from what he knew about Demons in general. He hadn't so much seen their lair yet. So it was hard to tell.

"That's just a wild guess. Body language helps too. A bit like someones dorm, the way it's presented and what it has in it is like a representation of yourself. So it's just spotting those usually irrelevant details that are usually overlooked."

He blinked and took note on the intriguing ghouls theories. As such, that would be another thng to take in mind with surroundings, the skillful weaving of the skitters. Whilst she did strike a good point on her skitters, it was like having a child and leaving it unnamed in his eyes. "It's just a form of affection... Like, adding their name on the end and just letting them know that you acknowledge them in a way;giving them an existence.'" He thought of Airi and how whenever he said her name she would whisk around to face him and immediately toddle back over to him when she wasn't in one of her giddy moods. "-But not everyones the same." He added on the end, to be safe.

"Feeding time? Hows the hunt going so far?"

Arachne was amused by the ghost boil's observations, more so because he was pretty much right.

'Well, I shall give you some points, but I think that your suppositions come more from a skill in as you say, body language and reading of people. Nothing do with a building.'

She laughed.
'No I don't sugar coat things. I'm a seer, I can see what's coming in the future, I don't see the point in anything other than straight with others. Maybe it means I can seem cold, or mean, but I'm just - me.'
It wasn't technically the whole truth, she was reticent about herself, about getting too personal.

She listened to him talk about names; did he really not know about Demons and names? It was true that she didn't see the point of labelling her Skitters with a silly moniker, it was also true that she herself and her family hid behind a false name, so there was one thing in her life that she didn't want to be false with.

'They know I like them, and acknowledge. They like me as well. I don't need to name them to strenghten a bond already strong.'

Arachne shook her head;
'Not incredibly well, they've cleaned out most of the flying insects, I was planning on moving somewhere..well danker.'

She had a fair argument and Daisuke could agree with her points. "True." He gave a small smile, relating back to her skitters and names first. Honestly, the name thing hadn't come to mind and the fact Demons hid their real ones well, but no matter.

"Your a seer?"
It came out more questionable than planned. "Wow. I've never met a seer before. That's pretty interesting. I'd ask what it's like or how but that would kind of be telling, wouldn't it?" He laughed lightly, adding on. "Well you know how to laugh, you can't be that cold." With a smile, he looked back down the path he had just came in reply to the hunt and her very hungry skitters.

"Have you tried the swamp by the monster dorms? That might be worth while for your friends... It's a bit of a walk but I suppose after classes it wouldn't be that far if they need to eat then."
He gestured back down the pathway with his hand, then turned back to face her.

'Third generation.' Arachne confirmed with a short nod. Of course she wasn't as skilled as her mother, and about as skilled as a moth compared to her Grandmother but she wasn't about to tell this boil that.

'There aren't any others at the academy that I know of, which is a shame.'
It would have been nice to be able to talk to someone else who knew what she was going through, her hesitations in forming relationships of any kind out of fear of seeing or foretelling something tragic in a friends future had made her insular, but that was slowly changing.

'This place, the other students. It's hard to be alone, and then you make friends. Slowly in my case.' she said wryly.

'The, uh, monster dorms?'
That was one thing that being amongst a diverse population hadn't changed; she was still somewhat of a snob when it came to monsters and the thought of being near that many wasn't entirely welcome.
