Private roleplay over AIM between Buffy_the_Bloody and Revel1984

Buffy_the_Bloody
It had been weeks since he had seen her. She had promised him the cubs, should she be pregnant..and today was the day
he found out if she was or not. His toes curled in anticipation. He wasnt even going to discriminate against the white cubs either.
He'd gladly bring them along, though he would make them slaves. If ony showed promise, well...well the pale ones never showed promise so he
refused to think that way.

The moon was in the sky, glittering like a diamond in a bed of sapphires. He liked the darkness more than the day. He seemed to blend, and be one
with the night.
He had been tracking her since he had left her that day. She had tried to keep hidden. He knew it from the way she kept from the main areas.
Main watering holes, common area for dens. She was keeping hidden deep away from the mainstream. Didnt matter though, he had been tailing her the whole time.
There had been no chance of escape.

Revel1984
The moon shone brightly and Optheli wasn't happy, her pelt showed up clearly in such light,
then again it did even when the moon wasn't shining. She'd been on the run ever since she'd managed to escape
Though she highly suspected he let her leave, she'd tried her hardest to avoid the most likely places where he could find her
but as the week past it was becoming clear that she would have to return to good hunting at some point.
Although her hips were starting to poke out and her ribs were showing, her belly was fairly large, everything she managed to kill,
her body worked to make sure the cubs inside grew well.

She lay in the grass and tried to pick out a small fawn or something in the midst of the group of grazers a few meters away,
luckily the grass was long and hid her well, add to the fact the stupid creatures didn't have great night vision like she did and it should
have been an easy kill, if only for the fact that she couldn't see any small young ones. The smallest she picked out was a doe,
and in the state Optheli was in, she didn't know if she should risk it. Her motherly instincts wanting to protect and love these cubs
the moment they began moving and kicking.

She didn't have a choice, it was either attempt the hunt or starve. She chose the former, creeping up until she was close enough to pounce.
She leapt and her claws latched onto the doe's rump, she was relieved that it fell after only a few feet. Hungrily she went in for the kill,
oblivious for the moment of anything but the scent of hot blood and grazer filling her nostrils.

Buffy_the_Bloody
He saw her hunting, and he kept coming up behind her. He saw the sides of her belly were larger and more defined,
yet he couldnt tell if it was weight gain, or if it was the fact she was carrying his cubs. He hoped for the latter, as he
had been hoping for cubs off of her. She was pretty enough, he supposed she'd do.

"Think you can get 'em?" He asked, voice low, almost like a whisper or a slow breath of wind. He wanted to startle her, not just outright terrify her. If she ran, he'd have to give chase,
and from the looks of her, she may had been in no shape to be chased.

He sat, and waited, his eyes gleaming.

Revel1984
If Optheli hadn't had her jaws locked on the doe, she would have tried to run, she heard his voice behind her and shook,
The doe kicking in it's death throes makeing her jump but she couldn't let go, she wouldn't, couldn't let this kill go,
she needed it, if he was close enough for her to hear him, he could probably see how thin she'd become.

Once the doe was dead, she jumped (rather ungracefully) over it to use it as a barrier between her and Roth,
not that the carcass could stop him but she felt just a little safer with it between them. "R....Roth" she panted,
still out of breath from the hunt and kill. "It's not time yet, why are you here" she asked,
a barely audible growl in her throat.

Buffy_the_Bloody
"You seem surprised to see me," he chuckled. He supposed that maybe she hadnt expected him to find her.
He hoped she was smarter than that though.. Otherwise he would have stupid cubs, and he refused to have anything
ignorant a part of his line. He flicked his tail back and forth, and his face had a carefree yet arrogant expression.

"Not time yet? Oh my dear, does that mean that youre expecting?" He smiled, his eyes knowing as he looked her over. She may have hidden
behind the doe, but her belly was noticably rounder and he grinned.
"Ah, so it does. Pregnancy suits you." He said, and walked closer, watching her fear and drinking it in. He walked
to the carcass, leaning down to tear a bite free before swallowing it and smiling with a bloodstained maw.

"Did you miss me baby?" He asked.

Revel1984
Of course she'd expected him to find her at some point, she'd just been hoping she would have had the cubs and hidden them first. Her whole posture was defensive as well as nervous and frightened.
She glanced away when he looked her over, commenting about pregnancy suiting her, her lip curled jsut slightly but she hid it by dipping her head, she wasn't positive he still wouldn't kill her,
regardless of the cubs she was carrying.

She scooted back a couple of feet when he stepped closer, to her kill. Her ears went flat and she lciked her lips, glancing from the kill, to him eating. She was hungry but she didn't dare
move in and eat, not while he was at the kill. She was about to move further away when a rather hard kick in her stomach left her gasping for breath for a moment, added to the fact she was very hungry,
made her brave enough to make a step towards the carcass, just one step, to asses his attitude. She chose not to comment out loud to his comment. *Like a thorn in my pad* she thought to herself.

Bufy_the_Bloody
When she backed away, leaving the kill to him for the moment, it was exactly what he had been testing.
Good. She hadnt changed her attitude regarding him. Still she feared him, and thats what he wanted. Though honestly
it was good that she feared him. He didnt want to have to kill her.
When she stepped closer to the kill, he used his paw to motion her to it. He would allow her to eat, she was after all, carrying his
cubs that also needed nourished. He watched the way she moved, and the way she looked at him. She was full of hate for him, and he loved it.
He had turned her love bad. Though it was likely she still loved hte idea of what he had once been, she was smarter now.

"Cat got your tongue precious? I asked you a question." He said a bit more demanding. He didnt like not being answered, and he wasnt going to
allow her to get out of talking to him that easily.

"How many do you think?" He asked, though he knew she wouldnt really know. It would be a mystery till the day they arrived.
He purred, his eyes looking sultry as if he was desiring her, and maybe he was.. But hed not act on it.

Revel1984
She glanced at him again and was a little wary at his gesture for her to eat, she wasn't sure if
he was trying to trick her or not but the situation gave her very little choice in the matter so
she crouched opposite him, tearing into the meat but not letting her eyes leave him for a moment,
she didn't trust him.

She didn't want to speak to him but his tone suggested that she would be better off giving a reply
and if she was being truthful, she HAD missed him, the days before he'd shown who he really was,
she missed that Roth, the lion who had made her feel comfortable enough with to let close,
the Roth she missed, she knew never really existed but she missed him all the same.
"Yes" she said quietly in between mouthfuls of the doe. She didn't want to think about the cubs,
she didn't like to predict things before they happened. His sultry tone make her skin crawl,
surely he wouldn't take her now?

Buffy_the_Bloody
When she said yes he purred again and applauded himself inwardly.
She was smart. That was for sure. She did what he wanted, even though she
had enough room for an escape. She knew hed find her, and kill her if she ran from him.
She was his, and he had meant it, until those cubs were born.
He nodded and smiled.

"Good. Good.. Thats a good girl." He said, voice praising her though his good moments could be
just as misleading. When he was being decent it was hard to remember he'd kill you for laughing at hte
wrong time.

"Eat your fill dear. Im not here to kill you. I was here to make sure that you were, indeed, pregnant."'
He said with a grin.

"I cant wait for them to be born either.. They will make fine additions to my line."
He said. He knew that white babies were something he had killed in his second litter. But he would take the white
ones this time, if only to hurt her further. He wanted her to be left without anything. She would suffer for her sins.
And that made him smile.

Revel1984
She glared at him when he called her a 'good girl' and purred. She shivered, thouroughly creeped out by him now, she was frustrated at herself a little,
she should have listened to her first instincts, then she would never have been trapped by him like this. She ate hungrily and quickly.

She was still suspicious of him letting her eat which was why she ate as fast as she dared. She couldn't help but hope that despite the way he was treatig her,
that he would at least be kind to the cubs if he got his paws on them. She had a feeling that he wouldn't let her out of his sight now until the cubs were born,
but she still held on to a sliver of hope that she would be able to get away, have the cubs in secret and maybe find someone who would be able to protect them better than she could.
She knew that if she took his cubs from him, he would hunt her down.

Buffy_the_Bloody
She was right about that. If his cubs were not given to him, he would never relent hunting until he found them.
If they were adults when he found them he would kill them, and so fo rtheir sake.. Their mother had better behave.
Her belly heaved as she ate, and he found himself remembering the two females and their pregnancies before this one.
He would be the father to three beared litters, and likely more afterwards. He and Coras cubs would be treated especially
well. They, would be worthy of being his line.

"Arent getting any wise ideas are you, princess?" He asked, still using the same pet names he used for her before. She had loved
those pet names before, but no doubt they made her cringe now.
He wondered if hed at least get any dark cubs from this.. Dark cubs that could become something rather than little slaves.
He hated the idea of having slaves to his name, so he'd train them appropriately first. If they were too stupid to get it
well then their fate was handed to them.

Revel1984
She ate, the cubs kicking less strongly now her belly was filling, most likely this one meal would go far to nourish them, rather than herself.
Sighing as she finished up, moving a few feet away from the carcass again, not bothering with the luxury of cleaning herself up since she wanted to keep him
in her sights, if she could see him then she had a chance if he decided he had a change of heart about the cubs and therefore her.

She cringed mentally when he called her princess but she attempted to show no signs of it on her face, "No Roth, i'm not that stupid" she snipped, unable to resist herself.
She was tired, the exertion of the hunt added to her slightly weakened state, as well as having eaten well for the first time in over a week made her sleepy.
She didn't want to sleep but she couldn't help the yawn that escaped her maw but she didn't want to lie down, just in case she needed to run.

Buffy_the_Bloody
He snorted, and rolled his eyes at her attitude. He really hated when she got so pissy.
He hated when anyone got that pissy. He wanted to smack some respect into them, but he refrained usually.
This was one of those cases. He hated the fact that he didnt want to harm her right now. But he made sure to
keep in mind that he would, should he have to.

"Whatever, Im honestly not sure either way when it comes to you. Guess we will see." He said, narrowing his eyes and
looking at her. He would see if she was smart enough to keep her promise.

"Go to your den and sleep. Those cubs are to be healthy, and that requires you being healthy."
He said, more demanding this time.
"I will return when they have been born."
He nodded, and turned, taking off to go into the shadows.
