Eden was nosing around, she needed a specific thing for the idea she had, well it wasn't so much the thing, wood and branches were a plenty, though not so plentiful when she wanted new ones that still were bendable. But she also needed one that was a specific shape, and that was what was taking the time. She would have these ideas and it would take ages to try them out because she couldn't find materials, how could she test these things out, besides if it worked it would be a big help to her herd.
Walking alone, not really paying attention to where she was going, her nose pointed at the ground looking for the branch she was after. Which is why she walked into the stallion without seeing him. Looking up her expression apologetic. "Excuse me, sorry, my fault." Not blushing but she wasn't prone to clumsyness, so she felt bad at having bumped him.

Aaron wasn't really doing much when the mare bumped into him. Just thinking really. He looked away at the sky and turned towards the mare, his curly mane being flipped over his shoulder. She looked at him apologetically and he gave her a small smile. "No it's alright." Aaron looked to where she had apparently been nosing around. He looked back to her and tilted his head slightly, curious. "Looking for something?"

Looking at the stallion, gathering herself, she wasn't prone to moments like this so she hesitated before replying. "Yes I was after a branch, a certain typ of branch in a particular shape, it can be quite hard to find specific items at times. Sorry for not paying attention to where I was going." Her expression apologetic, looking over him briefly, taking in his unusual bird markings and his smaller crescent antlers, unusual wind, though he at least didn't seem annoyed so he must be a little friendly at least.

"Ha I know what you mean." Aaron replied "When you're looking for something specific it seems to vanish but once you no long need it, it seems to be everywhere." That seemed to always happen to him Aaron thought. "Well if you can describe the type of branch I'd gladly assist you," he suggested sincerely.

Watching him quietly as he spoke, he wasn't exactly right, some things were just hard to find, but this would probably be one of those things, she would see loads once she had found the piece she wanted. Drawing with her hoof, a vaguely L shape pattern. "I need it this shape, about as long as a leg, green wood so its still bendy." She had exactly in mind what she needed, but explaining every detail would waste daylight for the search.

She described what she was looking for so he assumed that was permission to help. He looked carefully at the strange shape. It was meant to be quite long, no wonder she having trouble finding one. He was curious of what it was for but she seemed a bit anxious to find the branch so he kept silent. He looked at her "So where should I start?" I allowing her to lead the search since it was after all an object that she wanted.

"It could be anywhere." Which was why she hadn't fund it easily, if it was likely to be anywhere in-particular then it would have been much easier to find. She wasn't opposed to help finding it so she didn't say anything more and continued looking. She wasn't being rude she just saw little point in idle conversation, especially when there was work to be done. "Thank you for your help." The last an after thought it was after all polite to thank those that helped you, though she had never accepted help from a stranger before.

She didn't seem interested in any sort of conversation and continued looking after she, in her own way, answered his question. She thanked him as if it just crossed her mind to. He smiled, "Happy to help." And he was her focus and withdrawnnes actually intrigued him, especially after meeting another mare that couldn't stop asking him questions. It was a change, one that he didn't mind. Smiling still, he too started to search for the peculiar branch.

Nodding to acknowledge that he had spoken she carried on looking, shifting a little further away in her search. He hadn't commented on her lack of speech nor had he tried to fill it, it made an interesting change for her. Looking over at him, thinking she should probably ask his name at least, after all he was helping her, an introduction was little to ask. Moving closer again, she focused on him for a while. "I'm Eden Cullen, it is good to meet you." She was never sure what to say but she had noted that people responded better if greeted with something that involved nice or good, though she wondered at the phrasing its a pleasure to meet you, that one seemed more odd than polite to her. No smile came with the greeting but that was just her, she didn't smile often and the few rare ones she had were usually bestowed on her brother Crown or her mother.

The moved away to continue her search, but moved back and introduced herself. Eden. Aaron didn't know much about names hers sounded nice. "Likewise Eden. I'm Aaron." She hadn't smiled but his didn't slip off of his face. He nodded. "Shall we?" implying a continuation of the search. He didn't expect a reply so though he didn't move, out of a polite habit, his eyes shifted along the earth, once again roving in search of the wood.

Nodding again, taking in his name as she moved back to where she had been looking, she didn't usually look in this fashion but she didn't feel she could do her usual looking with company like this, but it was ok, maybe she would get lucky with the more intense searching that they were doing. Her mind drifting a little, thinking over other things she would need as she looked. half keeping an eye out for those as well.

Aaron's eyes roamed over the grass. The special shape she was looking for was more difficult to find than he thought it would be. The earth's greens and browns blended together his eyes were tired from the extreme effort the searching required. Suddenly an odd green woody shape caught his eye. It was so strange. He gently nudged, and it flipped over, he was right it defiantly wasn't grass. He was surprised to see that it resembled the shape eden had drawn on the ground. Excited he called her over, "Eden! is this what you were looking for?"

Looking up when she herd her name called she walked over the short distance to see what he had found. Looking it over as she stood next to him. Lifting a foot she considered the bit of wood. Her hoof coming down gently to nudge it over, turning it to give it a proper looking over. Finally she looked up nodding. "Yes this is what I needed, thank you." She didn't really smile but her expression lightened from serious and thoughtful. "I should get this home so I can work on what I was going to make."

She walked to where he stood, still surprised that he had acually found what he thought she was looing for. When she confirmed that this was the object of her search he smiled at her cheerfully. "You're very welcome." She didn't seem to feel as delighted as he did with the find, but didn't mind. "Oh yes of cource you should bring it home." He was reluctant to let her go as he enjoyed having company, but he understood. "Would you like me to join you?" he posed the question but had surprised himself as he wasn't usually one so bold, in conversation at least.

Eden looked at the branch and pondered how best to transport it home while she also pondered his question. Can I join you? It was such a simple request, and help getting the branch back would be useful, but her family and brothers in particular would probably have many questions, embarrassing ones too... Did she want to put either of them through that? She looked at Aaron and pondered some more, before shaking her head. "I'm not sure it would be a good idea, I would not like to put you in range of my family's most likely embarrassing questions." Not really sure that she wanted to explain that they never saw her around stallions that were not family, so if he decided he did want to face the questions he would be a first.
