Snowfall. How calming it was for the already mellow and serene mare. The white flakes that drifted from the heavens so gracefully seemed to have the ability to silence the entire world in it's wake. As if a play were to begin on a theater, and the audience had quieted down to watch. In a way, this episode was indeed just that. For it easily grabbed Ferra's attention.
Walking aimlessly, with not goal in mind, the female enjoyed the tranquil shower of artistically constructed ice. It collected along her snout, and down her spotted back, even along the wrap along her neck, giving it little speckles of pristine white. But it wasn't as if it mattered to her. It was times like these that she could simply close her eyes and let her other senses guide her. And she did just that. Bright eyes easing shut, the mare followed the sway of the wind, which brought to her scents of her surroundings, the soft sounds of her hooves placing into the deep snow bounced along the tree's, shrubs, rocks, and other encompassing articles. It made her feel each nerve on end. As if she were daring to test the actual need and use for her brilliant eyes. Eventually, Ferra stopped, having come to what seemed to be a reasonable place to pause at. Letting her eyes open, the mare found herself before a cranberry bush. The bitter berry's were indeed an enjoyable snack, and even more so frozen in such a preserved manner. Grinning faintly to herself, she allowed for her neck to descend so as to take part in sampling the rare delicacy.

Recovery stepped easily through the gently falling snow like a graceful ghost through a veil of gossamer curtains. His breath came as steam through his nostrils and secretly he found it somewhat amusing to watch. So amusing in fact he scarce noticed a mare walk by him. He watched her with her eyes gently closed walk with the utmost faith in the unseen. Usually not a recommendable to do but she seemed to know what she was doing. Her manner and gate at that moment was a serene a listless drift like the flakes falling from on high. Yet it also seemed she landed precisely ware she intended to to before a cranberry bush not far from ware he stood. "No matter how serene you look I wouldn't recommended wondering about with your eyes closed Madam besides. . .Why own jewels if not to wear them?" he said that last part in reference to her icy blue eyes.

Snapping off the petrified fruits, the mellow mare ate contently, seemingly oblivious to her surroundings. But this was far from true. In fact, she had caught sound of another disturbing the white blanket under her hooves, causing her ears to swivel forward, following where the sound was moving. Her eyes still remained lidded...
It wasn't until she heard the silk voice speak...one that was... unsettlingly familiar. This is what caused her eyes to peel open, and stand out against her pale complexion. Focusing on the sight of the grand stallion, her head began to lift, teeth still gently munching on the bitter berries. This.. male... Looking along his physique, as if she was debating whether she knew him or not, Ferra chewed slower as the seconds progressed. The ruffles... the brown under belly.. the hair, and horn. She'd seen it before... but where...? Eventually, a slight grin crooked at the corner of her lips, amused by his words, but not flattered in the slightest. Giving a soft swish of her tail, she swallowed her treat, and paused a moment to speak, "And why's that..?" her voice replied casually. Many a times she'd delt with fella's like him; 'charming' types. They were all the same, and served for maybe a few minutes of entertainment.

He smiled quite simply it was handsome but not cheesy. "Thats why." he said nodding toward her eyes. it was true he was his fathers son and saw the unique beauty in everything and everyone but he was also his mothers son. Thesh-ah had raised him to not be a womanizer she couldn't stand it from his father and she wouldn't tolerate it from any son she was going to raise. There were far more important things in life than chasing tail being a noble defender for one. A knight of the first class and utmost Flirt all you like if you feel you must its in your blood you are your fathers son but do so tastefully and most importantly politely and for god sakes please don't over do it like your father. she often told him He stepped closer (he was like 10 feet away) so as to be more formal and less distant giving his head another upward nod. "Besides Milady not everything has steps you can hear." he added as hawk flew over head. he knew well that danger came not only in the form of wolf and cat walkers but now there seemed to be more and more bat and hawk walkers as well. "I am Recovery madam first Son of Brakenhide and Thesh-ah at your disposal." he said bending one knee lightly giving a kind of informal bow. "who might you be?"

Her eyes blinked lethargically, unphased by his means of complimenting. It was as effective as water beading and spilling off of a ducks feathers. But as usual, she didn't give much thought to these empty comments. Instead, she was more intrigued by his simple presence and appearance; a first, really. Why was he so familiar?
Her ears flickered slight as he indicated the overhead company, letting her eyes roll upwards to take a gander... though the bird didn't bother her one bit. After all, she was much larger than it, and there weren't any young around. It was harmless. Though his words were true, they held no use to her. "I'm well aware, sir.." she replies with a grin, obviously amused. She wasn't one to get scared, or excited, even if she were faced with an unpleasant visitor. Head remaining tipped towards the heavens, her ears reacted for her as he was introduced, a brow crooking upward at the mention of his father. Brakenhide..? "....." Within a few moments, the mare gave a soft snort, before chuckling to herself. Why was she not surprised he'd sired children? After all, the way he so heavily laid on his clear intentions on females, one of them had to be daft enough to give in. With a shake of her head and an ending giggle, she closed her eyes. Recovery, huh? Poor kid... didn't stand a chance. The mare was further amused at his addition to his introduction. Disposal? What was he, a servant? This was all too hilarious. Her sister would get a kick out of this. Finally opening her eyes and lifting her head to look to him... raising her brow at his... bow? she smirked and shook her head, "Name's Ferra.. Ferra Elric.." she replied calmly, eyes drifting off.

The sarcasm not just in her voice but in her manner as well not that he doubted he or anyone could miss it was so thick it nearly dripped . . .that he could handle it was nothing new. However when he noted her amusement at not only his linage but his introduction. His expression remained causal, kind, and interested but in reality had lost interest completely almost immediately. His manners unlike hers however it seemed gave him the civility to remain . . .well civil. "Well it was a pleasure Miss Elrick but it seems your tolerance has ended for my presence and i assure you, your manner thus far has ended mine as well with yours." he said as smoothly as ever he bordered on rude but he loved his family and wouldn't stand for it or himself to be insulted by anyone and be expected to take it like some kind of common nit wit. He gave another slight bow and turned to walk away.

She continued to just watch him with a calm expression, raising a brow at his defensive manner. Goodness, he was sure sensitive. She hadn't even said anything in the matter of his family, yet he seemed to be boiling with rage. Her tail swished lightly, and she looked off as she heard some snow fall from a nearby tree, but she didn't react. "Don't like laughing huh..?" she mused. At least his father had some humor in him. But it was beyond her what his problem was. She'd done nothing but give a slight chuckle, barely loud enough to bend a leaf. How that offended him, she didn't know. But she wasn't going to chase or encourage someone to stay who made assumptions. Heck, she wouldn't stop anyone, for that matter. "I'll admit.. I have no idea what you're talking about.." she replies with a grin. Was he one of those uptight nobles? Or maybe he could read her mind... what ever the matter, his reactions were pretty strange to the few words she'd spoken to him.

He looked back at her across his shoulder at her then gave a small curt smile. It wasn't that he was angry he just was not willing to stand about and be mocked passive aggressively as if he were blind . . .or deaf for that matter. "Im sure you wouldn't madam." he said as he continued to walk away as the gap of space between them increased a thought occurred perhaps she didn't now that her manner was somewhat . . . past aloof and into rude. he couldent account for how she was raised . . .perhaps they had told her such manner was accessible or even remotely attractive. For a moment he thought how best to put his final phrase and took inspiration from the falling snow. "Snowflakes are completely individual. Each unique in its singular perfection adding its beauty to the over all wonder that is this wintery season. A majority fall on the ground and happily do so. Fine with dwelling on such a common place for the greater beauty. . . but those that do happen to fall in the higher places more catching to the eyes and closer to the divine break trees with here pride and inevitably meet are the first melt." he paused and cast his eyes forward once more before disappearing behind a bend in the trees "Just a little food for thought untill we meet again miss elrick"
