Abilities
Things that make you special
Empath: the ability to feel the emotions of others around you. (Levels one through three, variance depends on character creator preference.)
--Level one: animal emotions are easily known, while humans are very difficult to read unless emotion is extreme.
--Level two: animal and human emotion easily read, emotional projection low capability. (projection allows the empath to send emotions they feel at others, even the ones whose emotion they are.)
--Level three: animal and human emotion easily read, emotional projection high capability.
Warning: High capability forces the empath to get sucked into the emotion they are projecting, causing potential harm to themselves as well as their target. However, this level of projection also incapacitates the target, causing near instant black out.
Clairvoyant: The ability to see into the future. (Two levels, variance depends on character creator preference.)
--Level one: able to see a minute into the future.
--Level two: able to see two minutes into the future.
Warning: ability is unstable in either event and can only be used once in a day. Trying to force a vision will result in exhaustion and possible bodily damage. The character has no choice on what they see, and the future is not set in stone, only glimpsing at what could happen.
Medium: The ability to sense or see spirits.( Levels one through three, variance depends on character creator preference)
--Level one: can sense energy in a room, or small location if standing in it. Cannot communicate with entities.
--Level two: can sense energy in buildings and can see entities, but cannot actively communicate. Entities can sense character and can do things to try to communicate, regardless.
--Level three: can sense/ see entities and can communicate with them. Warning: to communicate, the entity enters characters body to use their voice. Useful if benign, but can be potentially dangerous if entity is malicious.
You may have as many characters as you wish. However, they may only have one of these abilities at which ever level you wish.
Jobs
Added things that may help you along the way
A list of possible things your character may do that will effect how they play. If more than one person chooses the same occupation, they may be co-workers. The relationship is again, up to you.
apothecary worker: Be it for medicine, or for killing off those damn barn rats, you know more about plants and herbs than most in the town.
teacher: knowledge is your power, and books are your ready source if you don't know what to do.
ranger: you know the valley better than anyone, and all the critters that inhabit it.
preacher: your faith guides you, and the town looks to you as a mentor.
cop: you protect and you serve. The town looks to you for leadership and strength.
(side note: Your character does not have to have these specific jobs. Like if your character is an old retired man, then one of these would be more like a past career. If your too young, then it is more a personality or social outlook. example: the preacher might just be a person who is an upstanding person in the community and gets strength from whatever he believes in, whatever faith that is. But if you wish, one of these can actually be your characters' job. Your choice.)
