She'd seen much these past months, dealt with things she'd heard her father talk of and though he'd honed her into the mare she was, she was off like her mother, heeding the call of new things to see and do. Staying in one place for too long usually didn't bother her, after all she always returned to her family. Her father was her biggest idle of how strong and gentle she could be. She just had her mother hyper chipperness. She liked to get out, away from everything. Run free and feel the wind in her mane. Ah yes she had her moments when she was very much like her father, and then there were the days that she just needed to be herself, for herself.

Adrian trotted lightly through the woods, intending to take flight once the trees thinned. He was going back home for the first time in a week and he was somewhat reluctant. While he was no longer a foal, he was only just an adult and Ignis tended to do the whole 'I'm not mad I'm just disappointed' parent thing...subliminally. Yeah.
He snorted, wondering why he was still living with his adopted father anyway. Then he remembered he didn't really have anywhere else to go. Right. With a sigh he resigned himself to an evening of quiet disapproval.
It had been worth it to get out and see new things though. teepee

She was nearing the foot of the mountian as she looked about she vaguely remembered coming here once when she was but a young mare, fresh to adulthood. She'd been showing another around the lands at the time then, but now she was returning, looking around more fully so that she could get a better look at things. She hadn't had much time the last time to get to see everything this area had to offer. Her interest was now peeked upon her return. What kind of other soquili could she meet here? Sure, she met once an angeni who'd helped her in a time of grate need a great ways of a distance from this area. Still it'd been near the mountains then..

Adrian spotted movement below and slowed in his flight to take a closer look. Perhaps it would provide a delay in his return. He hopefully peered down through the scant trees and spied a mare wandering around. Perfect.
He flew a bit to the side to land so he could approach from the ground as in his experience people startled more when he dropped from the skies than if he appeared near them from the land. He landed and flicked his long mane to one side of his neck, hoping nothing got stuck in it. For that reason he tended to fly most places instead of walking on foot. His long tail dragged behind him and miraculously didn't snag in any debris.
He approached the area he had seen the mare from the skies and prepared to make an entrance.

Her ears flicked forward as she heard movement in the distance. Her walk slowed some so that she could listen carefully. Her eyes scanned around as she listened, looking to see what had made the noise. She'd been caught unaware once near the mountains by a pack of wolves that had done a good number on her. Stopping, she waited to see if what ever is was would show it's self, standing poised to run or fight if she needed to,

Adrian strolled gracefully into the view of the mare, putting a dashing smile on his face and calling out, "Well hello there, my lady."
Noting her somewhat tense posture, he tried to make his smile more soothing that she would not be uncomfortable in his presence. It was his goal to make all mares at ease with him.
He observed her for a brief moment, taking in her brown eyes and blue hair. Slightly exotic...he liked it.

Her tension eased as she saw it was just another stallion. She knew there were those who were of malicious or less honorable intentions out there but at least it hadn't been another pack of wolves. She still bore the scars from her last dealings with wolves. "Hello." She gave a friendly smile as she spoke. He was a rather... interesting looking stallion at the very least. Orange mane and tail done up in a lavish style. She supposed maybe he was one of those few stallions she'd heard of who liked to look fancy. His wings were brightly colored, half of them resembling a butterfly. Maybe he'd been a crossbreed of some sort? His feather intrigued her, stepping closer as her eyes fixed on it. Was it just some lavish attachment in his main or was it connected to that dark hat like shape he wore? "What brings such a dandy out and about today?" It wasn't meant to be derogatory or snide as she spoke. he effeminately did look quite the dandy indeed. It's been a small attempt to get to know his intentions at the very least, one could never b too careful after all.

He frowned at being called a name. To be honest, he didn't know what it meant, but it didn't sound like a good name. The mare seemed friendly enough, so perhaps it was not insulting? He didn't know if he wanted to ask, since she might make fun of him for not knowing.
Ultimately deciding to shrug it off, since she really didn't seem to mean anything by it, he smiled winningly at the mare, "Nothing in particular, just the urge to fly. I'm glad I did though, to meet one as pretty as yourself."
Adrian used his best smile and tried to exude confidence.

She glanced to the sky a moment then back to him giving a nod. She let his compliment roll off her though she did offer a smile to show she'd received his compliment well. She shuffled her feet some, a habit of the need to move around sometimes she'd picked up from her mother. Though she hadn't met her mother till later in life she'd always had moments when she just couldn't sit completely still. As trained as she was, wiggling and moving just was as much apart of her as the need to train. The leather armor creaked as she moved, it's golden embellishments glinting in the sun.
"it is a decent day to take a stroll I must admit." She gave a nod and flicked her tail, sending the veil attached to it to flutter lightly to the disturbance of the air. He seemed courtly, kind like her father, but his was a first meeting and many things could be more than they appear. Her form was trim, well toned and conditioned and she wasn't the smallest mare around. She stood taller than the average mare.

Adrian smiled, he could tell she was cautious but he felt confident he could warm her up.
"It certainly is! Why don't you and I take a stroll together? Two is company, you know, and you seem like you would enjoy the chance to move around." he inferred from her earlier fidgeting.
Hoping she would agree, he tried to look as hopeful as possible. Besides enjoying the chase, he truly hadn't had a decent conversation in quite some time. Between his father trying to baby him and keep him at home and his sister dogging him all day lately, he was really not looking forward to returning home that evening. They would both scold him for being away so long, and though he knew it was only because they cared it was still annoying.
