Right, so as we were sitting outside in the cold during a fire drill being held in our dorm building, my friends were discussing how they would survive a zombie attack at our University. We had this whole discussion about weapons, fortification, and survival...in ten minutes. I think it would have gotten more interesting if it went any longer.
In any case, how would you survive a zombie attack in any location of your choosing? What would you use to defend yourself? Where would you go? What will you do? How will you ever survive?

Well before hand, I will fortify a truck and train my self with shotguns and pistols until I find some to my liking. Then I would just move around with someone I trust. I would only refill on gas stations away from big cities. Big cities= death in my mind. I will most likely carry a shovel or a crowbar to protect my self when melee was necessary. Hopefully it will be something with multiple practical uses.
From there I guess I will last as long as I can.

At least it blocks out the moaning and crushing noise when I hit a zombie with a twang of sweet acoustics.

Well, as it currently stands, if a zombie apocalypse happened in my college town of Farmville, I'd get my T-square, use it as a sword, and hole myself up in my dorm building.

Also, if its a college town, could some students who got infected get inside the building before they change? And a t square has a very limited range. I rather be prepared with something that has a longer reach. Like a bat, or a cricket bat, or a crowbar. Ya a crowbar.

Well, in the panic, everyone would go down to Walmart on instinct, so those of us who are smart would raid their pantries. Depending on the type of zombie we're talking about, they'll die on their way, so we have food. Also, we're ten stories up and we can grow food on the roof.

Just keep tabs on all your dormies around the time of the attack. I don't want to lose you to a zombie.

In fact, I don't want to lose any of the BA members. I'm sure Dok would be fine, and so would Chang. A couple others would be fine because they're resourceful enough, too, but I still worry for them.
...dah, I miss everyone. crying

In any case, I would probably get a blunt object in this dorm and start whacking zombies with it in the beginning.

What I would do is to leave this town of ours with a few friends that have survived uninfected and tour around Finland to save the relatives of theirs. Then, think of a place where survival is plausible, establish a community.
What I need: -Cars, lots of them -Cellphones -Arms. I'd loot the closest weaponry storage available for arms. Since the zombies are mainly civilians, anything will suffice, but the smallest calibres have so poor stooping power I leave them behind. -Sniping and overall avoiding of the zombies, right until I get my hands on some medieval plate armour. -Friend in need is a friend indeed! Every other trustworthy man I can find is a man securing my back. -Finland has garrisons all over the place. Perhaps some of them are overrun and abandoned, which means the weaponry would be there for the taking. I'll have to be quick, though, as the remaining government will most likely hoard the weapons for themselves, bastards. -Farmland. -An island to be cleansed of zombies. Base farmland there, then do raids to mainland. Ă…land will suffice nicely, I hope.

I'd utterly lose it if a zombie apocalypse were to occur. I don't even know where I'd head. But then again, I've never though about it since it's highly unlikely it'll ever happen.
