"I wouldn't say that," Jett whispered, leaning against the doorway,"If I were you. The moment somebody says that it always gets worse." He looked over at Klaus with slight interest. He couldn't even tell what Klaus was and that was saying something. He sighed and looked up at the ceiling. There was no way Klaus was ever ever going to lean what he was. "I'm Jett," he added, glancing back down at him,"Don't worry..." He lifted his hands and stepped into the room. "I'm not going to hurt you."

Jett nodded and froze suddenly when Klaus held out his hand. He stared at it for a moment or two before he glanced up, tilting his head to the side slightly to show his confustion. Slowly he accepted Klaus's hand and shook it. Then he pulled back with a frown. "Well hello then," he muttered, scrambling to think of human social customs,"I didn't think people shook hands since the eighteen hundreds."

He slipped his small bag of belongings onto the ground next to him and sighed. "Do you mind if I ask you what you are?"

"Thats okay," he replied with a friendly smile,"Really now...I don't think I've ever heared of that combination before." He brushed his hair to the side of his face and sighed. "I'm a shapeshifter," he confessed so Klaus wouldn't feel so embarressed,"Nice to meet you."

"That would be the idea," Jett agreed, kicking off his shoes,"Here. I'll show you... Or at least I'll show you the end result. There is no way in this life or the next that I'm going to let you see me morph. The last guy that saw me do it vomited and never wanted to talk to me again. Now hold on." He looked around the room quickly for a place that was large enough to shift in but so that Klaus couldn't see him. He settled on the closet. He slipped in and shut the door. Now to shift into an animal that wouldn't be trapped on account of having no thumbs. He shifted into a small spider monkey and opened the closet door with a shrug. Now to wait and see how Klaus reacted. This could be good....or it could be totally disasterous.

I look like a monkey, I talk like a monkey...I AM a monkey. He let out a sharp exclamation of suprise when Klaus poked him and rolled his eyes. When Klaus petted his head, he looked up with wide eyes but didn't move from where he sat. "Now for the fun stuff," he commented mentally, standing up,"Not only can I do animals...I can do humans and even inanimate objects." He went back into the closet and came back out looking like himself. His cheeks were bright red from when Klaus had petted his head and he quickly rubbed them to hide it. "So...?" He asked, looking down at Klaus's expression of amazement,"Can you shift into a bunny or something?"

Silver sparkles. Jett made certain not to comment on those and looked up at Klaus's ears. He didn't see why people laughed. They weren't hilarious or anything. In fact, they fit. He shrugged and circled around Klaus once before resuming his position. "I see," he murmured, looking down at Klaus's pink cheeks,"You don't have to be embarressed...Its not like your ears are pink and sparkly or anything." He brushed his bangs to the side of his face, trying to think of a way to calm Klaus down.

"No kidding," he replied, flashing a grin,"The only thing worse would be leaving a trail of pink sparkly flowers where ever you went." He leaned up against the wall, tilting his head to look up at the ceiling. Klaus's smile relaxed him and he was glad that he had been able to make him less embarressed about his ears. Maybe the boy would be able to handle seeing him shift after all.
