This guy has mad issues and I need some help sorting them out. Crit the hell out of him, ask questions, give me feedback, aaaaa. AMITYVILLE ACADEMY ENROLLMENT FORM Name: Nega Nicknames: Neg, Negs Gender: Male, but physically genderless. Age: A month, tops. Looks 12-14-ish.
Faction/Race Monster, I guess! Something between a revenant and a golem.
Personality: Nega is eager and excitable, especially about learning new things. He learns fairly quickly, as long as it's gone about in the right order (addition and subtraction before multiplication and division and so on). His lack of knowledge makes him gullible and naive. He’s also very blunt, and could not tell even a white lie to save his life - only partly because he doesn't know how. He is extremely loyal and obedient, following instructions from those deemed superiors (initially, this is everyone) incredibly well... to the best of his ability and understanding, anyways. He's a little unimaginative, and has a tendency to take things literally - not good with figurative language, and slang and such things confuse him.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Nega knows nothing except how to speak (some would say only by technicality, as his words are mangled by a thick, garbled hodgepodge of an accent) and some rudimentary knowledge that comes with that (positive and negative connotations, definitions of most basic words, etc). He’ll need to be familiarized with how the world works, in every sense of the phrase. He needs to learn how to manage his form and feeding (he must consume energy to feed his spell), how to mimic others’ shapes, and most importantly, how to function as a person.
Yeah.
FEAR: Not sure. Could have to do with use of magic, shaping himself and modifying his density, or his issues with tangibility. It could also have something to do with his dietary habits.
Physical Description: In his natural form, Negs is… kind of a mess. As he begins, he’s kind of a round, squishy caricature of a dragon/wyvern kind of thing, wings only occasionally included. His human form reflects his degree of control over his substance, and is vague, bland and soft. He can squash and stretch quite a bit, and uses overly-exaggerated expressions and movements to convey feelings he only has the shakiest definitions of. Eye Colour: Black sockets with a small glowing ball of white adrift in them that serves as a pupil. Hair Colour/Style: Same as skin. Style varies with degree of control, skill and personal preference. A sort of short mess will do for starters. Skin Colour: A grayish, desaturated purple. Clothing Style/Colours: Something simple. Clothes with long sleeves and legs, maybe a belt. Shoes are optional. Not sure if his clothing would be actual clothing or just him shaped like clothing. Kinda like the idea of him technically being naked all the time, just for humor's sake. Drew and modeled him in a turtleneck sweater, bell-bottoms and heeled boots. I am kind of attached to that now! c: Extra: Short claws, typically. A lizard-y tail, sometimes. References: vectors are awesome T-Pose model sheet I am learning 3D portrait and the finished 3D model

SOLIKE, NEGA. WHAT ARE YOU IN TiH? I have no clue. HERE, HAVE A WALL OF INFORMATION IN THE BEGINNING A wizard created him from a spell to be a sort of golem made of magic - an obedient, efficient, easily-controlled warrior, basically, to be mass-produced for a war effort. The spell involves some base components, most notable of which would be a skull, right. The wizard was foraying into some radically new ground, so naturally a lot of his experiments failed. Nega's one of those failed experiments that didn't like dissipate or explode or some s**t. He was a little too good, better than the wizard realized. Nega was sentient and sapient, something the wizard had never wanted. Because Negs stared pretty freakin' empty-headed, the wizard never knew, and just treated him like he was a slightly less than mindless slave. Eventually Negs gets all like introduced to the finer human emotions like compassion and s**t. Adapting, pt. 1 We-ell, then, maybe for the sake of this shop he did dissipate, but, um. Sipated. Here. There. *running on 1hour sleep ok* More than okay with him coming to understand all the ins and outs of being a living creature at in town and at the school. It will be a very interesting kind of angst. Age will be an interesting idea for a creature who was kind of literally born yesterday :B Adapting, pt. 2 From the source, he's a shapeshifter, and he has tangibility issues - he doesn't have a physical body, really, he's mostly made of magic and willpower. He feeds off of nearby energy sources (electricity is a favorite, but he will do living/unliving things in a pinch perhaps? Heat would be good, too, def. not light until he's waywayway better. Kinetic energy? Absorb hits? Spell energy? Woah. Gotta think THAT one out. Limit to intake speed, on pain of pain? That should do it) to keep his spell active and whole, and thus keep himself alive. He is also completely terrible at controlling his shape early on, and has to do a lot of practicing and studying to maintain anything other than a basic, almost cartoony shape. Good reason to go to school, huh? Species Identity Issues Well, I could clearly define 'golem', and set Negs apart (because he IS set apart). Golems need a material to be made of - part of the reason Negs' "father" failed so badly and so often is because he's trying to make golems out of energy, which is difficult at best. Golems, however, generally also need a writ, words, some kind of rules to abide by in their heads. Nega doesn't have that... :Ia Hm. He seems to be somewhere between a Revenant, a Golem, and shapeshifter, with some parasitic/vampiric ability... >:C NEGS, WHAT ARE YOU If I could call him anything, I'd probably call him a living spell, but where would he go then?
