Optheli couldn't get Roth out of her head, they'd met several times over the past couple of weeks and each time he'd flattered her,
made her feel comfortable. At first glance he wasn't her ideal choice but he'd made her laugh, they had talked, mostly about her life and
Optheli had to admit, she was starting to fall for him...maybe. She wouldn't let herself admit it not even to herself just yet but it
made her smile when she thought of him, of his purr and the smooth way he talked. Even now she was pacing where he'd promised to meet her tonight,
well he had said Sunset and it was now dark, so she paced, nervous, thinking all sorts of things, but mostly that he'd maybe been hurt, it didn't cross her mind that he might be late on purpose.

"Gotta leave 'em wanting more." He purred to himself before he was in hearing range of Optheli.
He knew far too well that if you left them waiting, their hearts would pound harder in their chests.
It was easier to fluster a girl if she had been anxiously awaiting your arrival. He padded closer to where
he had said he'd meet her. He had been doing a good job of having her believe in his lies. She had been on that
border between lust and love, and he could see it in her eyes. He was a Succubus, he was good at catching things like that.

"Darling." He greeted her, approaching her in the darkness, where his toes stood out more than anything. He hated having white anywhere
on him, and usually..white was a slave color in his pride. But he was okay with making slaves out of this female. Maybe having slaves, he'd
be able to keep his other children well cared for. His little cheeton would like that she had help, he was sure.

"Sorry Im late. I was having a marvelous conversation with a wilddog." He said nodding. Not informing her his intense hate
for all things not lion. Even his cheeton, she was sweet.. but still.. he hated her.

She was relieved when Roth appeared, she hurried over and rubbed her head against his thick mane "Roth!" she almost scolded, but she was playing.
"A wild dog was more important than meeting on time?" she asked, a smirk o her face as she walked round him, her tail high, brushing against his shoulder.

She purred as she circled behind him, to walk up his other side and back to face him again. "i missed you" she murmured looking him in the eyes.

Bingo. He knew it would be terribly easy to have her now. A few more short days, and he'd
be able to complete his mission, and that made him entirely too excited for his own good. He
let her nuzzle into his mane, and offered her a gentle nudge of his nose. He hated showing this much
affection. Even his own cubs didnt get that kind of attention from him. His youngest daughter even asked
before she touched him. It was smart on her part, she'd never lose a claw.

"Of course not, but I cant be rude, now can I." He said, more of a statement than a question aimed at her.
He looked into her eyes, and saw that she really truly had missed him. Was he really that good an actor? That
she was nonethe wiser about what he was? He really was doing a good job with his trade, that was for sure.

"I missed you too Princess." He purred, placing his paw under her chin to have her look at him.
"How much did you miss me?" He asked.

She liked it when Roth nuzzled her back, he didn't do it often so she was always surprised when the male returned her affection.
while she wasn't overly affectionate she liked the gesture. "of course you can't be rude" she said, only a little bit put out that he was late.
She pushed down the insinctive, creeped out feeling that always emerged when they met again after being apart and smiled at him.

Still she didn't suspect he was anything other than genuine about her but still she didn't dare allow herself to acknowledge her growing feelings for the handsome lion,
she looked away briefly which caused him to to lift her chin to look at him again. "I'm no princess and you know it" she teased with a smile tugging at the corner of her mouth.
She looked sideways at him a little and answered his last question with a sudden, unexpected (even for her) lick to his cheek.

"But you are a princess. Or as pretty as Id ever imagine a princess. Let me say these
things to you.. Let me make you feel like you are a princess." He whispered, leaning into the curve of her neck so that he could
whisper right in her ear. When she licked his cheek, it took everything he had not to take her then and there. He wanted her, but he always
had since his eyes had rested on her that first time a few days ago. He purred a little, smiling and if he had been genuine he would have blushed.
But Roth didnt have feelings, and so her feelings towards him were hollow and useless. He wouldnt let her know that though.

"Thats what I thought." He responded to her lick on his cheek. He lay on his belly, and looked up at the stars. He was tired, and he wondered if maybe..just
maybe.. She'd stay the night with him in his temporary den not far from here. It would be his moment of truth. If she gave herself to him, he could announce just who and
what he was. But first..first she had to agree. He didnt think that would be too difficult.

"The nights have been a bit more cold than Id like. Probably cause theres not a warm, soft princess at my side."

Optheli DID blush, even after the time spent with Roth, she was still unused to the compliments and wasn't always sure how to deal with them
and when he put his muzzle so close to her ear she felt a flutter of excitement. She shivered when he began to purr and she merely smiled again shyly to his comment.

When he lay down, she lay beside him, leaning her body into his, her tail draping across his. She dropped her head and lay it on her front paws, slightly tilted to look towards him.
"the nights are always cold when you're alone" she said, shivering a little and leaning her head against him.

Mmm. He purred when she layed next to him. Her warmth warming his own abdomen.
He nodded, and nibbled on the back of her neck gently. Of course in his head he imagined snapping
a bit rough. But he had to restrain himself from actually harming her.

"Then maybe you should stay with me." He purred, his seductive side coming out. Sure he could still be charming,
and seductive. This was a bit more natural than charming anyway. He flicked his tail against hers, then flicked her rump
with it.

When she blushed, he caught it. Her white pelt did nothing to hide such an action.
Inside he knew shed say yes.. He knew hed have her tonight. And if he was lucky, little slave cubs would be born to her,
and he'd take them. He thought nothing of ripping her children from her, but he would. Theyd be his.

"I dont want another cold night, and I dont want you to have one ever."

Optheli practically shivered in delight at his affection, he wasn't usually this....affectionate and Optheli was enjoying every moment.
"maybe i should" she murmured, her skin twitching when his tail flicked against her rump. Her purr in time with his now, she was happy right now,
this moment was all she could have wished for in company, he let her have her freedom, she let him have his, even though she did feel a little lost
when he wasn't around.

She snuggled up to him, getting as close to him as she could without actually shoving him over on his side "i ...i'm not sure Roth, i've spent so much time by myself... "
she said to him, her head turning away slightly in her inner turmoil.

He listened to her purr and inside that was like a victory bell. He had done it.
He knew as soon as he took her she'd be in love with him. Something about the purr, the look
in her eyes, and the soft voice she got when she spoke to him.

"Why do you have to be forced to a life alone. You arent unloveable. You arent ugly, and anti-social.
Let me take care of you..Let me have you." He purred into her ear, nipping her ear gently and nuzzling his nose
into the curve of her neck. Beautiful and graceful, he could have torn into her right then, but he didnt. His instincts
even told him to, and still he kept from doing it.

"Dont fight me angel.. You know that you want what I offer you." He said softly.

She closed her eyes for a moment and took a deep breath, her skin quivering with his closeness.
"alright Roth, if you will have me, i'll be with you" she said smiling coyly back up at him.
"I know what i am, and what i'm not but if it doesn't matter to you, it doesn't matter to me either" she purred,
snuggling up to him again. She shivered again when he nibbled at her ear, his nuzzling making her head buzz with the nearness,
his scent filled her nose.

"i won't fight you" she whispered as she returned his attentions.

Perfect. He smiled, nibbling the back of her neck andmotioning for her to stand. He walked into his den, looking
back at her with his firey blood red eyes. He was victorious. He just had one more thing to finish before he was complete.
His mission, had been successful, and rather easy at that. He grinned, and dissappeared into the shadows.
If she had been in front, she would have seen his cheshire grin, but he hid it away.

"Perfect. Its a deal." He said, and the shadows overtook him.
