Welcome to our candle decorating contest!

If you'd like to enter you can take the following image and decorate it in some sort of computer program (and then upload it to the internet and post it here). You may also use a different image if you find one.

There is not a limited number of slots available. If the total number of entries exceeds 10 (which is the most we can put in a poll), then we will do more than one round of voting.

Rules:

- It must be your own work.
- You can only enter once.
- Once your entry is posted in this post, it cannot be changed.
- Please don't just vote for yourself. We'd like people to really think about the entries.

Prizes:

1st Prize: 4,000 gold
2nd Prize: 3,000 gold
Everyone who doesn't place: 400 gold

If I can convince myself to fight with my programs again (after they crashed while rendering the entry here), I might try to enter. Maybe. *Sighs*

Entry:


"I wanted to spend Imbolc someplace beautiful, someplace breathtaking. So I drove south from the Village of Doolin and smuggled a tiny mobile tent and folding artist's table out onto the soaring Cliffs of Moher.

"There I lit white candles and sat myself down to draw. The sun settled slowly into the calm waters of the Atlantic, and set the whole world aglow. I couldn't tear my gaze from the majesty of the moment, and my art-work slipped from my mind. I watched the night come in, breathing in the chill air."

Hopefully this counts as candle decorating? If not, oh well. I had fun. It was definitely a multi-step task to get this done.

Used: Original Imbolc candle image, Photoshop, color pencils, scanner, 3Ds MAX Design (bloody thing crashed and lost all my work), Google Sketch, and Vue. For some reason the final render didn't turn out nearly as crisp and clear as it should have...
