 Felise wasn't the most friendly of females when it came to purewalker males, even less so after that upstart tiger had decided to try and remove her from the patch of land she had claimed. Oh she would dare him to try again, she was ready to claw his eyes out this time. So when she picked up the scent of another male skinwalker near her home she was not very happy, and followed the scent, though when she caught sight of the male she had to pause and just look. He was a purewalker that was obvious but other than that what the heck was he?
Stood looking at him, her anger having cooled to mildly disgruntled as she tries to work out what animal he was, some kind of fish? but the head of his pelt didn't look like a fish. Shifting her weight as she watches, her soquili form not as large as some skinwalkers, her animal form about the size of a large domestic cat. She knew she was small but she used it to her advantage, and anyone that tried to make an issue of it found out that size really idn't matter when it came to teeth and claws.

 Harper's ears twitched slightly, he knew he was further out of his comfort zone then necessary but today he felt the need to take a walk. That wasn't necessarily true, he was an antisocial creature but that didn't mean that he liked to be alone all the time. He could feel eyes watching him as he pawed through the area slowly. Growling low, he sniffed, he wasn't scared of a scuffle but being further away from the water would cause some trouble. Keeping his ears alert he continued to move as if he hadn't noticed the new walker, who territory he was now encroaching upon.

She wasn't prone to being overly curious but she really wanted to know WHAT this stallion was. Shifting into her much smaller cat form she crept closer, moving quietly and sniffing, trying to see if that would offer her any clues as to what she was looking at. She could smell something vaguely fishy but not... That just confused her more, there was no such thing as a fishwalker as far as she knew, and though there was the scent of water and fish on this one there wasn't enough to make her think that he was a fish. Moving around, coming out from where she was hidden trying to get a good look at him, maybe if she did that he might make some more sense.

Harper watched out of the corner of his eyes to see a cat creeping closer to him. He could see the innocent looking cat, and found himself cringing slightly. Not only was it a land walker one that was used to being on land but it was female as well. Females with claws tended to get a bit more vicious then he liked to admit. Feeling a bit unnerved he turned towards the cat and cocked his head to the side, she seemed to be watching him, his voice low and menacing.
"What do you think you're looking at?"

Felise stopped and looked at him when he spoke to her, tilting her head and making the jump to a branch over his head easily, settling there and regarding him some more before finally deciding to speak. She liked to wait sometimes, it could work to make the other uneasy, keeping others guessing was a useful tactic. "I was trying to decide that for myself.... What are you?" Peering at him with her clear blue eyes, the colour close to that of the blue ice deep in a glacier, it was a cold but very pretty colour.Sniffing again, not being subtle about it, yes there was definitely the scent of fish and water but there was more to, what was he to have such an unusual scent....?

Harper gave a toothy grin, she didn't know what he was. He must not be that usual of a sight if the catwalker didn't know his kind.
"Ah well I'm male obviously..."
Harper's odd humor showing slightly, it was probably because the walker was in feline form versus her true walker form that he seemed to be a little more adventurous in his dealings with her.
"And obviously I'm not feline such as yourself...Am I right to conclude that you have never seen the likes of a walker like me?"
He wondered for a moment, about the possibilities before grinning back at the female. It could be fun to question her a bit more. But he would be wise to watch his tongue in case her claws came out.

Her ear twitched a little as she regarded him, triangular and pointed, so unlike what the cat walkers usually had. Her eyes narrowing a little, he seemed to be finding her curiosity amusing. And while usually she would enjoy wiping the smile off his face... Not knowing what he was... She would be a fool to attack one of her kind who was unknown to her.
"Obviously..."
Tossing his word back at him in answer, if everything was so obvious why was he dancing round a simple answer. Maybe this was his game... She liked to play games too, though never with her own kind, they were rarely fun. Her tail flicking, the golden ring on the end glinting in the dappled light of the tree. She might be a catwalker, but she too didn't look normal.

"You are a mighty feisty one...I will give you the courtesy of stating that I have yet to meet a walker such as yourself...did you steal those bands or just find them?"
He knew he was pushing his luck but he just couldn't help it. She seemed so interesting, and rather innocent as a feline. He knew better than to deal with a walker though. Females could be much cruder and cunning than an average male walker. But he was cocky,
"A seal...if you must know...But my telling you made the game completely uninteresting...perhaps we should try another one?"

A... Seal? What was a seal? And why did it smell of fish? Her claws scratched the branch a little, the smell of fish was making her hungry. Though other skinwalkers were generally not food this one blurred the lines a little with that smell.
Her eyes narrowing a little as she regarded him. "I've always had it." It had been given to her by her mother, wild creatures never had such things, or rarely anyway so it would aid in her hunting, and to this day she used it as a ploy, part of her disguise to look harmless. But then she would be foolish to tell him how she hunted. "But then again it was probably stolen by the one that gave it to me." Able to easily imagine her mother taking it from the corpse of one of her prey.
Stretching out and resting her chin on her odd coloured covered paws she regarded him, her tail flicking again at the idea of a new game. "What game did you have in mind?"

Harper gave a toothy grin. She wasn't quiet sure what to make of him even after his admission. Shrugging as he side stepped the branch she was sitting upon he continued.
"A game of wits...perhaps...or one of strength...or even cunning still?"
He knew he could lose all those feats but it was a chance he had to take after all he was a walker and what good was a walker that couldn't find some way to manipulate his prey.

Her tail flicking as she watched him, turning her head to keep her eyes on him. Frowning a little having the desire to curl up on his back with that yummy smell, it was a very disconcerting desire, especially as she never curled up on anyone. Her claws digging into the branch a little and regarding him again. "Well aside from being vague I suppose that sounds fine... What will the prize be?... There's no point in playing if there is nothing to win." Her eyes gleaming a little as she regarded him, wondering what kind of prize he would place on a game like this, it would have to be a good prize after all neither of them were likely to play for no reward.
