Distinguishing Features:
Furred Body:
Ussuri's entire body is covered with a thick coat of tiger fur, one that is a clear trait taken from his animal DNA. This coat of fur ranges all the way from his head to the tip of his tail, and even causes his mane of hair to become thicker and more tiger-like. This fur is believed to help him blend in with the habitat around him, as well as some sort of general defense. However, because of the fact he is white and not orange, Ussuri really can't use his fur to blend in with the grasses and wildlife as well as his animal genes could.
Tiger-Like Face:
It is clear that Ussuri's genetics heavily played on his creation, his appearance leaning more toward animalistic than human. That being said, his face shows the tiger-like qualities, mainly in his eyes, his perky little nose, and the fluff that is over his cheeks and side burns. His eyes are slanted much like his DNA animal, with the pupils also thin and cat like, which is assumed to give him an advantage while seeing in the dark.
Tiger Ears:
Ussuri has perky little tiger ears that appear from his fluffy mane that is his hair. His ears are mostly black, and are quite fuzzy and help with his hearing. Also, on the back of his ears are two white spots surrounded by black, a common trait seen as 'eye spots'. The purpose of these spots for tigers is to appear alert from behind, and the trait did indeed pass along to Ussuri.
Tiger Tail:
Ussuri has a long tiger tail that is an expansion of his spine, and is used mainly to help his balance while he is walking or moving on all fours. It is quite long, nearly the size of his torso and head, and has the same distinct stripes that line his body. At this age, he also swings his tail around a lot, apparently in effort to communicate his animal emotions when he cannot find words to show it. If he is irritated or happy, often his tail will show more of that emotion than his facial features.
Paw-like Hands and Feet:
Ussuri's hands and feet, though quite human in shape, actually have padding on the bottom and a more condensed bone structure. These features give him the ability to run without shoes on and handle more coarse materials, as well as jump without being as likely to get hurt as humans would be. This buffer ability is a direct result of his animal DNA. Also, the padding on the bottom of his feet allow him a quiet approach if he is able to focus enough on it.
Sharp Claws:
Ussuri's sharp claws are a noticeable feature on his hands and feet. On his hands, though they are strong, they are more like extended nails that have not been trimmed back. On his feet, however, he has the trait of having four claws and one dewclaw, and all are retractable. As this age, he has a hard time controlling his claws, and often is seen scratching things both on purpose, or by mistake. Often, he will also use his claws to eat with, causing quite the mess.
