Hello all, I can;t wait for Feb, 3rd because that's when I get paid, I already wrote down the things I'll get and how much it will cost, hopefully my dad check will come before the other does. I was overdrawn but my aunt sent me a check to cover it. and the bank was nice to me and took away some of the overdrawn charges.
I know that I may have a shopping addiction....but.....in my defense I hardly ever go overdrawn and I thought I had more money than what I actually had, (Pay pal takes a long time to process sometimes, so if you ever use pay pal...keep in mind that you should write down how much money you really have instead of relying on your bank statement. because it took three weeks to process my stuff and by the time it processed It was 245$ overdrawn) and next month....well this coming week I'll put aside money for emergencies like in case I have to travel to the doctor or need 14$ for a doctor visit.
I was wondering if anyone else had this problem, spending money right when they get it. and having anxiety when they don't.
I was going to spend money on this game
Hot coco (that I can't find anywhere else but ebay) the seasonal peppermint kind
scented oil from http://www.blackphoenixalchemylab.com/welcome.html
(tons of oils to choose from all hand made and organic. should check it out.)
I was going to buy a hot coco maker but my friend told me how stupid that was...lol (I can make hot coco just fine over the stove)
I just can't wait for my money to come in so I can get all this stuff, I have anxiety thinking about it, and the fact that I cant get it right now bothers me....I know I'll feel better after I buy this stuff
of course, I will set aside money for emergencies like I stated above and I'll only buy this stuff after I have paid for rent, food, and bills.
I"ll have enough money with some left over. I'll be more careful this time.
I just really want this stuff, and it makes me happy, .....does buying stuff make you happy?

You know its funny, but buying stuff does not make me happy. It use to when I was little. When I got money I would have to go and spend it right away, but now I always try to consider how much I want it. I own like a TON of books, and like half of them I haven't even read. So like now when I buy something I didn't really want too much I regret it. I also try to buy things as cheap as they can be, but in good quality.

I like shopping online though! I don't do it often, but when I do I kind of go a little overboard. sweatdrop

To me money problems is when i have saved my money to pay bills and i don't have enough to buy food, or things i want buy when it comes to things to make my self happy somethings can wait because you begin to realize what things are a necessity, it is a good feeling to have money and spend it on what you please and if you saved it to buy something to make you happy why not buy it

My current money problems consist of not being able to find a job. So i have no money to actually remain living where i am, or move back home. That is cross the country and no one actually has space for me. Now to top it off it looks like I owe the IRS $700.

So cheers! I hate my life, I hate money issues and already I hate this year.

Oh I know all about money problems. Like as soon as the very subject comes up in this house it's pretty much guaranteed the rest of the day will be shrouded by a bad mood. Leaving other family members out of it, I personally have no job. No income, and if I ever do get any, it goes toward living expenses: shampoo, conditioner, clothes, etc, and if I was making enough I'd be forced to pay rent and utilities. On top of which, I have literally about a dozen serious health/mental problems that require regular or semi-regular treatment which so far my mom's insurance has completely covered. This year, I'm probably going to lose it and I already kind of have because the deductible reset with the new year so we're already in debt that we're just barely finding out about because they didn't tell us - we asked too. Oh and since my mom refuses to give me any other kind of support, grandma who lives on retirement benefits gets to foot the bill since I literally have no money and am incapable of work. The cherries on top? I love to shop and my tastes are ALL very expensive. Shopping makes me very happy. I used to like window shopping, but now it's like, if I'm going to look I have to buy at least one thing that I wanted or I'm more upset than I started out. Also I live in a town where there is literally nothing to do esp. by yourself unless you have money.

On the bright side if mom's insurance drops me I can finally get justice on her. Umm that's it so lots of clouds and the only ray of sunshine carries the nickname revenge. Lovely.

Man, who doesn't have money problems! I had like three temp jobs in the past 3 years, seperated by like half a year. first one was a tutor at school for min. wage but that was expected since i was a student myself. My last temp, i worked with the Census and made like 17 and hour but had to spend it all for school and bills so now i have none. And i too owe the IRS around $500. I finally got a job in dentist office but i don't think it's permanent. I hope not b/c i'm not studying to become a dentist. i got some hours in before the pay period was over but @ min. wage it isn't much.

That's why I love my bank. Here, you can choose if you want a normal account(can't access more money than over 0.00 status) or you can have another account, which gives you acces to more money than over 0.00.

Which means if I have 250 euro on my account now, and they take 260, then I can't pay it. Then it can only be paid by me. I'm NOT allowed to have a negative balance, that's a pretty smart move for a student like me.

Of course I spend almost all my money, but I pay my bills and my insurance on that account as well. I now have 20,57 left on my bank account, 10 in my pocket and 30 upstairs(euro's btw). So I have 60,57 on the moment. My salary is coming this week, my student money on the 24th(75 euro) and my health insurance money around the end of the month(69 euro). So i mostly have 300/400 each month.

Always check your incomes and expenses.
For me that's for example:
136 euro for health insurance(expense)
salary(income)
69 euro for health insurance (income)
75 euro on student money (income)

every 1st day of the month, I lose 136 euro on health insurance, so I always substract 136 euro of my total incomes. This way, I know what I have left. I also have a savings account attached to the same bank account I have. This way, I can subtract money from my main account and put it on the savings accoiunt and vise versa.

Best way to save money for me:
1.Goods like deodorant, soap etc. I get in bulk packages of 5. These are cheaper than seperated pieces.
2. When it comes to my cellphone, I tend to spend no more over 30 euro a month of a subscription or prepaid.
3. I only get clothes every once a season. I tend to keep them in great condition so i can use them more than 1 year. Especially t-shirts and shirts.

There are always good ways to save money!

Money is the devil, lol. im not kidding thought.

I wish i could have my money spend when i got it, it would be a nice change of pace. My money is usually spend long before I even see it. Now that i lost my job though its even harder than ever not to spend money. It should be the other way but all i do is sit at home all day and look for a job and be bored. I live in a very small town and there are like no jobs here. you cant even worjk at Mcdonalds its so bad.

But yeah my money is always gone before I even get a chance to buy everything i want. i usually spend it in my head before I have it in my hand. especially now that I have a debit card and can buy things offline. *drools* damn itnet ads making me buy stuff I dont need. I started back to school recently and all the money i got from the school which was like 4k after books and classes and what not was spend in about 3 weeks. I did get a new/ used car new comp and paid my rent for the next 3 months but other than those my money was gone on nothing.

I only paid my rent in advance because i lost my job and got two kids that need a roof or i would be a vagrant. though I do like to live on the move. When i was younger I had a not so legal job that let me have the freedom to travel all over my home state. I never really had a home but i loved it. But even then all my money was spent before I had it in hand.

I use gaia and other games to do that. Even though it is virtual it makes me so pleased and satisfied when my non living character gets something cool.
