Junko needed a new leash for Sayuri and Kuro. She'd never had them on leashes before, but now she figured she should maybe put them on leashes for walks so they wouldn't just run all over the place and cause amok. She counted how many seeds she had and frowned, rubbing at the back of her neck. Maybe she should actually make people pay for the things she made for them. Some extra money would be nice! This would have to do though, pocketing her pumpkin seeds and putting up her hair in the usual bun. Junko then walked to the door and slipped on her sandals, turning back to her foxes with a smile. "I'll be back soon. Stay here and be good, alright?" She announced to the pair of pygmy foxes, giggling as they yipped at her from their comfy spot amongst the pillows on the floor. Good, they weren't rushing to the door. This was a good sign!

Exiting her room, Junko hummed happily to herself as she walked toward the exit of the monster dorms. "They're just stupid foxes, Junko. Is this all really worth it?" She grumbled from underneath the bun, waving a bit of hair dismissively in the general direction of Junko's room. Junko pouted. "Just because some stupid teacher--"

"That 'stupid teacher' is a nice man and has been very helpful. I'd like to not lose my foxes." She told Her with a huff, continuing down the hall despite Her protests.

It was difficult to tell why Nuk was lounging around the Monster dorms that day, instead of doing one of the many things he was known for doing. There was nothing particularly different about it -- no storm clouds covered the sky to keep him indoors, (assuming a little rain could do such a thing,) nor did he have any company as he meandered the halls, hands shoved in his pockets as he hunched his back in a slouched pose. On a normal day, it was nearly impossible to find him in the Monster dorms -- why would he hang out there when Shehk, Sammy and Amrita were an Undead, Tristan, Altair and Riley were Demons, and Vic was a Ghost. Even Harrow, whom he more considered 'nerd prey' than 'friend,' was a reaper. So it was, unsurprisingly, more common to see the skinwalker in ANY of the other dorms beside his own. Hell, the Undead didn't even bat an eyelash anymore. And yet... here he was. In the monster dorms. For no explicable reason.

Then again, did he really need a reason?

Giving a clearly-annoyed exhale, Nuk made a face as he padded along the dirty hallway, yawning more out of boredom than out of lack of rest. There was a reason he hated hanging out around here -- there was literally nothing to do. With no one to harass, his usual activities had been severely limited, and that made for a very grumpy skinwalker. Which would have been a very unpleasant thing.... but there was no one around for him to share his misery with. Which only made him more grumpy. Curling his fingers into fists, he peered over his shoulder as he continued on, looking the way he came. Nothing. Not a creature was stirring, not even a scra-- ohgodno, not that christmas bullshit again. He shivered, shaking his head to try to clear his thoughts.

Hells bells, if he didn't find someone quick, he might just lose his mind. And not even because Riley stole it, which would be immensely disappointing.

As luck would have it, however, (for him anyway,) it was just as he was turning the corner that he noticed the kimono'd girl heading in his direction, his eyes narrowing slightly before brightening as he realized who it was. The girl with the mouth in her head! It was just the distraction he needed -- although he hadn't had much interaction with Junko, he had heard Her several times, one of which he was... fairly sure She had been yelling at him. Grinning broadly, he increased the span of his steps to close the distance between them quickly, straightening a bit as he got close.

"Juno!" he greeted her a little too enthusiastically, the action coming off as more creepy than usual. When Nuk called your name (or a butchered version of it) it was never a good thing. Just ask Shehk.

Junko was in a good mood. She was happy. She was content. She was on a mission to keep her foxes happy as well! Everything was going well and dandy in Junko's life right now even if she was constantly plagued by a second mouth in the back of her head whose greatest pleasure in life was to make her life a living hell. Despite Her, Junko was in a good mood.

...Or she was in a good mood.

Juno...Nuk was looking for Juno. Yes. Nukpana wasn't looking for Junko he was looking for Juno. She was not Juno, so clearly this meant she could continue on her way. Yes...that was exactly it. Junko visibly bristled however, stopping midstep for just a moment and tensing up. It was clear from any distance that she was tensed, her fists clenched and her shoulders raised as if she was trying to hide. A poor attempt, but an attempt nonetheless. Maybe if she didn't move he wouldn't see her? Yeah! That would work! He was a buffoon! Surely she could fool him! Haha! Yes!

Yeah, right. "Ugh. Not you." One of few people Junko and She could agree on being totally annoying, neither of them were very thrilled Nuk was approaching Junko. He was far too happy to see her, fear and annoyance sending the ghoul going in the opposite direction away from Nuk.

Goawaygoawaygoawaaaaaaay! Her day was going so well, too!

If Nuk noticed Junko's obvious displeasure in seeing him approach, he didn't show it, his grin still spreading from ear to ear as he slowed to a stop right in front of her, stooping over a bit and leaning against the wall with one muscular forearm. In some cases, it helped that he was tall and relatively built (in monster terms, anyway -- he was nowhere near Grier) -- it meant he towered over many a student, and usually beat them out in the muscle department. It made him a good bully, along with the sharp pointy canines and black sclera, leaving it relatively easy to intimidate without much effort. Unfortunately, it ended up being just a much a curse on him as it was a curse to others. In instances such as these, it probably didn't help make Junko feel any less at ease that he was practically looming over her. But it seemed he took no notice of that either, since he did nothing to make himself seem more approachable, instead looking rather pleased as he stared at the girl.

"How did you do that?" His grin didn't falter as he heard Her words echo a little from behind Junko's head, although his eyebrows did knit a little in bewilderment, "Talk without movin your mouth, I mean." Shifting a little against the wall, he reached his free hand up to press his thumb and finger against her lips, spreading them to try to open her mouth, as if the answer was there.

Clearly, Nuk had no sense of personal boundaries. Shehk could tell you that one.

Oh, Jack! He was coming right at her! Junko gasped and froze in place when he stopped in front of her and blocked her from continuing on, staring up at him with wide, frightened eyes. Don'thitmedon'thitmedon'thitmedon'thitmedon'thitmedon'thitme! She chanted frantically in her mind. Why did she think he would hit her? Well, because of Her. Junko looked around for some kind of opening to get away, looking very worried for her safety or something. She needed to get away from him. He was a jerk. He was annoying! The Mistress growled, annoyed now that he was scaring her little slave. Junko began to take a few steps back away from him, almost missing his questions. "None of your jackdamned business!" She snapped at Nuk when he questioned how Junko talked without moving her lips. Junko gasped and looked toward Her.

"S-Stop that!" She pleaded to Her, not wanting to risk incurring the skinwalker's wrath. She had seen him punch that boil! Granted he was somewhat justified in his actions then but even now he would be justified because She was being a brat! She didn't want him to hit her! No please! Junko was beginning to back away when suddenly he touched her face and started opening her mouth. Wh-what was he doing?! Stop that! Why was he touching her? Augh! Where had his hands been she didn't know where those hands had been and now they were all in her mouth augh!

Suddenly Junko's hair wrapped itself around Nuk's wrists and down his arms all the way to his elbows, tugging hard in an effort to lift them in the air and away from Junko's face. "Stop. Touching. Her." She growled, part of Her mouth revealed by the amount of hair being used to hold back Nukpana. Junko was horrified now, her arms flying up to cover her face protectively as she actually cowered.

"Pleasedon'thitmeI'msorrypleasedon'thitmepleasepleaseplease!"

If he wasn't surprised before, he certainly was now. He wasn't overly familiar with Junko -- he'd seen her a few times, but she'd seemed pretty shy (at least around him... or was that terrified?) so he'd never really felt any impulse to talk to her -- but even the first comment had seemed rather out of character. Then again, she had punched him that one time... Even so, both of the skinwalker's eyebrows lifted in high, surprised arches as streams of strong, black hair wrapped themselves tightly around his forearm, cocooning it up to his elbow. Had it been anyone else, he might have gotten exceptionally angry at being restrained at all, but Nukpana merely stood where he was, completely unmoving as she tried to pull his hand away from her mouth, relaxing her arm to let her move it as she wanted. Well. That was unexpected. He had to admit, she had spunk.

For a second it didn't look like Nuk heard Junko's slurred, panicked plea, almost completely unresponsive beyond a slight tilt of his head, his entire body shifting to the side. In fact, he didn't seem to be paying attention to her at all... which he wasn't. Instead, his eyes were focused on the mouth now visible from beneath the hair that usually veiled Her presence, intrigue obvious in his eyes. Oh. THAT was how she did it -- he hadn't realized she could talk with it. It was much less impressive now he knew how the ~MAGIC TRICK~ happened, but hey, beggers couldn't be choosers.

It was only after this moment had passed before he glanced back at the cringing form, a little amused grin curling the corners of his mouth, leaving him looking no less threatening than before. At least he wasn't angry. "I'm not gonna hit you. Duh, you're a girl," he replied, as if this was the most obvious thing in the world. Didn't she read the Bully's Handbook? ... well it was good she didn't, because there was no Bully's Handbook, so he'd be a little confused if she had. Still, he didn't seem very interested in consoling her, instead still looking her over with mild interest. And for once, it wasn't in the chauvinistic way.

"Your other mouth's kindofabitch, huh?"

Junko was terrified, just knowing he was going to get upset with Her at any second and just begin wailing on her for attacking him and being stupid and...wait...he wasn't moving. She was too scared to look, to see the rage that was undoubtedly building on his face and in his very core. If it weren't for the fact that she could still feel her hair was holding onto him she'd think he was rearing back for the attack or something.

Finally she opened one eye to peer at him while he was busy checking out the mouth in the back of her head, the mouth that was growling and just about baring Her teeth. A shame She had normal teeth and not fangs! Then She could look slightly more menacing than an angry mouth in the back of a ghoul's head! Junko wished she'd put her hair up now to prevent this kind of thing from happening. It was why she did this. It was why she would keep doing this forever and ever! Sigh. But Nuk looked curious, even amused...was that a hint of impressed she saw just then? He wasn't angry? He wasn't glaring at her and trying to kill her with looks alone? No way! She was brave enough to open both eyes now as she slowly turned her head to look upon him more fully, biting down nervously on her bottom lip. "You're not?" She blinked as he gave his reasoning, looking very surprised by this. He wasn't tricking her? This wasn't all some kind of ploy to try and get her to lower her guard?

"Don't trust him, Junko." She growled lowly. Junko frowned, her eyes flickering back toward Her before turning back to Nuk. He was still staring. Uncomfortable? Why yes! She was. Junko shuffled nervously, not even bothering to try and untangle Nuk from her hair. When he commented on Her attitude Junko squeaked and stood straight up at attention, her heart racing like a scared mouse in front of a hungry lion. Oh...it wasn't an angry comment. It was just an observation.

Junko blushed, rubbed at her cheek and cleared her throat. "Um...a bit, yes..." She looked anywhere but him. "You're not..mad?"

Nuk was remarkably patient as the terrified Junko stood shock-still in front of him, waiting with that same amused grin as she first opened one eye, then the other, finally turning towards him. In fact, it was kind of cute... his grin noticeably broadened as he watched her eyes grow a little wide at him, biting her lip in a way that definitely more 'nervous' than 'sexy.' Not that he would ever be caught dead saying that, unless it was meant to be a synonym for 'smokin hot.' He did have a reputation to think about. Still, it was rather bizarre that he felt absolutely no physical attraction to her at all, and even more so that it didn't perturb him that he wasn't making catcalls and making an a** out of himself as he usually would. Normally he would have done it anyway, and make Riley force him to ran a million laps around the gym for even thinking something like that.

"Uh, no. I'm not," He replied, half rolling his eyes, as if she were a bit slow in the head. It CLEARLY wasn't because he'd gone back on his word before, "No offense, small fry, but I got bigger fish to... uh... fry."

Clearly he was the master of intelligent conversation.

The skinwalker seemed to think about what he'd said for half a second, lifting his glowing amber eyes up and to the right thoughtfully, his face scrunching a bit thoughtfully before he visibly shrugged before he continued. Whatever. "'Sides, it's your other mouth that's being a c...actus," he finished, thinking about that last word before twisting it at the last second. If he noticed her discomfort, he didn't say anything, nor did he address Her any longer, although every so often his eyes flicked over and he'd lean to the side, as if eying her curiously before he got bored again and addressed the real reason he had actually come over.

"Hey, aren't you the girl who decked me that one day in Christmas Town?"

Small fry? Junko blinked, pursing her lips and trying not to laugh as Nuk seemed to lose track of what he was saying. A muffled giggle did escape her but she was trying very hard not to laugh, so very hard. It would be rude to laugh just because he was messing up a saying! But just..for some reason it amused her! Maybe because he wasn't hitting her? Or he wasn't mad? Though hey, if she could read his mind she'd be very thankful to know he wasn't even thinking of hitting on her. That'd be incredibly annoying, she may have to smack him.

Because we all know Junko is about as terrifyingly strong as a daisy.

What he said next made her pause visibly, pouting a moment and eying him curiously. That was weird, why did he pause? "A cactus? That makes no damn sense, boil." Junko's eyes narrowed as she turned them to the side, looking toward her. Shut up, she was perfectly capable of talking! Hmph! Her gaze returned to Nuk as he kept looking toward Her, sighing and hugging herself a little. This was strange. Why was he just...talking to her? Whenever she saw Nuk he was being obnoxious, annoying, threatening to beat you up if you didn't vote for him, punching demons in the face (Though he deserved that one)! Stop looking at Her, stop looking at Her.

"Please, stop looking at Her." Junko blurted out, squeaking and clamping both hands over her mouth as she stared at him with wide eyes. She didn't mean to actually say it! The Mistress smirked and released Nukpana finally, her hair wriggling and writhing in a neutral motion. It felt odd to Junko when her hair wasn't moving in some way. Then he asked the question of all questions, the question that brought a dark blush to Junko's cheeks and made her heart race with fear. "I-I don'tknowwhatyou'retalkingabout!" She managed to squeak out behind her hands, earning herself a groan from Her. So much for being assertive for all of five seconds. Was that why he was here?! She could still use the argument that he had been looking for Juno, she was Junko.

...That bothered her for some reason. Junko dropped her hands and balls them into fists, pouting up at the skinwalker. "And my name is Junko. Not Juno." For some reason it bothered her that someone had said her name wrong. She was used to it being pronounced wrong, as in Jun-ko instead of Joon-ko as it should have been, but to just say another name entirely just by dropping a letter in it...it hurt her self-esteem a little.
