Backstage, Donny was having his ribs retaped when the call for him to go out came through, having loosened it in the nights earlier mini rumble. He nodded for them to hit his music whilst the medical staff finished up, knowing there were a few seconds before his actual que.
Tapped up, he jogged to the gorilla position and burst through the curtain just as the lights took on their rather hypnotic birl of silver and purple, the crowd once again greeting him warmly as he strutted onto the stage, his arms raised to his side and his arms open as if he was soaking in their adulation like sunlight, head tilted back for just a moment, staring up at the rafters before drawing his arms back in with a shake of his long, red hair and heading down the lamp.
"But you are, the human, strobe. You are the human strobe."
Donny just caught himself singing the song as he slapped hands with the very same fans from earlier, though this fact only seemed to increase their enthusiasm, each reaching out further and further to be able to grip his hand for that fleeting second or two. Eventually getting through the masses, he found himself at the ring steps, bursting up them with a small show of speed before stepping through the ropes and into the ring.
"Let's take aim, you're looking the other way. The right target, she's looking the other way. There's no wreckage, I'll help you to do it right, tonight... we'll make it ours."
Shrugging of the loose, cotton shirt and tossing it to a stage hand, he ascended the turnbuckle, playfully flexing his right arm as he posed for the crowd, the flashing cameras nearly blinding him before he stepped back down and took up position in the furthest corner from the stage, seriousing up a bit as he started stretching a couple of times but only doing so lightly when it came to his mid section, the more obvious of his two injuries, the second being his stitched nose.

“Look in my eyes” By Rains begins to play throughout the arena and the crowd erupts into cheers for one half of Blitzkrieg.

Gordert walks onto the stage with a microphone in his left hand and a light tube in his right hand. Gordert says as he extends the light tube away from his body, “Coming down to the ring, from middle of ******** nowhere, Michigan. He is one half of the future WWFG Tag team champions, The Blitzkrieg and he is the winner of the King of the Canvas…..”
Crowd erupts into cheers as he finishes, “KODY “KODIAK” GORDERT!”
He says as he begins to walk down the ramp, “When I was eliminated from the Royal Rumble match after I was shove through the middle ropes, I was behind angry because I shouldn’t be out. But the rules were change half the way through the match due to the fact the Doug wanted ‘order’. He change match from a Royal Ramble match to something retarded past believing. But, you cannot change the past by bitching to the scarecrows. But, something is wrong with this picture.”
Kody stops at end of the ramp as he points the light tube at Donny, “You”
Crowd gave Kodiak a mixture of boos and cheers
“This match is supposed to be King of the canvas verse The Royal Rumble winner.” Kodiak says as he lowers the light tube, “When I step through the curtain I see a ‘rookie’ in the ring? I must of have gotten the order of the matches wrong in the back. I was expecting Chrono or even Xavier out here. Instead I get some Irish drunk? See I understand a woman sleeping her way to the top, but you? Is Doug that desperate to get some loving, he was forced to turn to you to give him ‘neck rubs’.
He leaves the light tube laying up next to the metal stairs as he climbs up the stairs. He watched his opponent carefully as he entered the ring.

the opening chords of Down with the Sickness begin to play as the lights dim down.
Oh wah ah ah ah!
flames burst onto the stage and the Dragon steps out on the stage to an eruption of cheers.
"....making his way to the ring, from St. Louis, Missouri, weighing in at 328 pounds, he is the WWFG Undisputed champion, the Dragon, Jarel Drako Damone!"
Jarel begins to head to the ring, looking up as his old Dragon symbol is lowered to the ring. He stops at end of the ramp for a few seconds and looks out at the crowd, then steps up onto the apron and into the ring over the top rope. He looks over at his opponent before stepping in front of the symbol and raising his fist. Blue pyros rain down and light up the symbol behind him. The Dragon lowers his fist and the symbol rises back into the rafters. He turns and removes his coat, handing it to an official as the music dies out and the lights come back up. He hands his title belt to the an official and tells the time keeper to ring the bell

Donny was leaning in the corner as Gordert bad mouthed him to the world, a stoic expression spread across his face as he took in every word with an aura of indifference, arms folded across his chest. He remained like that right up until the special guest referee, Jarel, had made his way down, only easing out the corner once the bell had rung.
He would have liked to have responded to his opponent, grab a mic and give him a quick update on what was what, but that could wait, right now, as always, he was focused on the task at hand, that being the King of the Canvas himself, Kody.
Hey new he had a slight weight advantage over Kody, but as always, that was something he didn't take for granted, and as far as styles went, they couldn't have been more mismatched. For now, Donny would attempt to keep things simple enough, approaching Kody to attempt a tie up, his goal being to try and measure Kody's strength by seeing how he would fare when push came to shove.

One thing Kody has learned throughout his career, never tie up with someone who is larger than thee. As Donny come across the ring toward Kodiak, he attempts a stiff right kick to Donny’s right leg and if that works, he would go another stiff kick to the other leg.

Just as Donny was about to lunge in to try and lock up with Kodiak he was stopped by a swift kick to his right leg, barely able to hobble back out of the range of the second kick which swished past his left knee, his guard raising up as he did, preparing for some other sort of quick attack.

Kodiak frowns as Donny hops back away from his kick. Gordert attempts to grab Donny's right arm and drag him toward Kody. If this works, Kodiak would try to drive his knee into Donny's stomach.

Expecting another kick or punch, Donny was caught unaware by the reaching grab for his right arm, being tugged toward Kodiak, a knee sinking into the bandages. Pain shot through Donny's body, clasping his free arm over the impact point and bending over, just able to stay on his feet.

Curling his leg round Kodiak's, the toe tucked in above the foot to lock himself down, Donny managed to block the gutwrench. After the initial attempt by Kodiak, Donny would put his arm around Kodiak, tuck his own head in and throw his weight forward, going for an early side clutch roll up pin.

Kodiak was flung backward onto his back as Donny lead him backward with his arm and his feet went over his head to complete the clutch part of the move. Gordert quickly kicks out before Jarel could attempt any count for a pin attempt.
