The stage is lit gold as a man wearing a hooded jacket looks down at the ground to keep his face hidden. After a few moments of tension, Seitz jerks backwards, raising his hands into the air as jets of fireworks raise from either side of the ramp and Better Than You by Metallica begins blaring in the background. The announcer declares, "Making his way to the ring, weighing 256 pounds, from Oberhausen, Germany, "The Superior One", Wilhelm Seitz!" As the wrestler makes his way to the ring, he casts glances to the assembled audience, already unimpressed by the relative unknown who considers himself "superior", making a point to direct them towards his athletic frame with his arms, also spreading them out wide to lap up the crowd's attention. Seitz reaches the ring, and slides in and heads straight for the top turnbuckle, throwing off his jacket and flexing his muscles. The fans are unimpressed, but Wilhelm simply gives them an arrogant sneer and prepares to show them why he is "The Superior One".

Lights out in the arena with the sound of a howling wind following after. After a few seconds of the wind . . .
I cannot tell you you're fallin' apart. Open your eyes if you wanna survive. I wanna tell you your love is a lie But I won't tell you, I won't tell you
Lacuna Coil's I Won't Tell You hit the arena with GBL taking the stage and holding his title up high. He ended up throwing it over his shoulder and taking his signature bow. With that, he would begin a slow walk to the ring rather than making a rush. What could he say? He was feeling the effects of the Rumble matches he had.
"Coming to the ring, weighing in at 205 pounds . . . From Bedford, Indiana, he is the Intercontinental Champion, The Lotus Eclipse . . Jay Blue Lightning!" the announcer spoke out with GBL sliding into the ring and looking to his opponent. Obviously not a break for GBL as he tossed his Title to the ref rather than handing it to him. After wards, his feathered hat would come off and his full attention was on Wilhelm. Letting out a quick breath, GBL's smirk came to him as he knelt down, waiting.

Seitz stared down his opponent whose smirk he returned to with one of his own. He thought to himself how defeating someone who was holding a title was the perfect way to show his self-declared superiority on his debut. Seeing his opponent waiting for him to make the first move, though wary to a counter, he obliged, intending to start with an impact, attempting a running big boot aimed at his lighter opponent's gut!

No way he would allow himself to take that. The Rumble had him taking a boot to the face, so he was partly prepared for this. He would catch ahold of the foot between his arm and body and attempt a quick dragon screw to drop down the man and perhaps even a limb to target.

Seitz wasn't surprised at the counter, but couldn't stop himself from being taken down by the dragon screw. However the German was conscious to the fact that he was in a vunerable position and immediately forced his legs outwards in an upkick to give himself room to recover. If this was successful, the Superior One intended to make his way to his feet and attempt a lock-up, wary that if this became a contest in manouverability and speed, his more lithe opponent would have an obvious advantage.

GBL kept himself back as he figured there was no chance of taking an advantage of the situation. The guy was bigger, and this was only the beginning. Seeing him back up, GBL took the offer of a lock-up. The veteran realized that strength would not have him winning this, he had to wait for a moment to take this into his favor.

A wry smile drew over the German's face as GBL accepted the offer of a lock-up. This was an excellent chance for the Superior One to attempt to bully his smaller opponent about a bit. Seitz attempted to toss his opponent against the ropes, in an attempt at making the most of his weight and power advantage.

Yeah, that was to be expected. GBL felt himself being tossed against the ropes as he was now leaning against them, looking to his opponent. How to go about this . . . Such a difficult question.

Seitz decided to try and turn this into a striking match, preferably giving his oposition as little room to manouver as possible. To meet this end, the Bavarian Brawler charged his opponent with the intention of landing a few elbows to GBL's skull. Whether or not he would be successful was yet to be seen.

Seitz was making his move, and GBL had no way of really escaping. So with that, he had to use offense for defense. As his opponent neared, he dropped low and aimed a dropkick to the left leg of Seitz.

Seitz' attempt at offense left him wide open for a counter and when it came it nearly toppled the big man. However, although one leg was taken from under him, he remained somewhat upright, kneeling, with his right leg forwards, allowing him, after a momentary pause, to grasp at the ropes, and retain a vertical base fairly quickly, although knowing his nimbler opponent had probably already got to his feet, the German imediately prepared to take an attack.

GBL was indeed back to his feet as he got his attention back to his opponent. Not much he could do, so he went for something simple. A hard kick aimed for the side of the bigger opponent.

Seitz knew he had to stop GBL's momentum in the bud, but had no choice but to take the kick with so little time to retaliate. However, he quickly latched on to the attacking leg after the blow, and attempted a counter with a thrusting kick to the gut.

Well, this was bad. No wait . . .The kick was worse. GBL took the kick and ended up on his back, holding his stomach.
