What do you think bioware has in store for us? Besides many great games <3 what Sequals do you want to see? should bioware look torwards making The oh so popular Movie based off a videogame? Should they continue some of thier book series? What shouldnt they do? what types of games would you like to see bioware try thier hand at?

That's an interesting question. I personally think they should do another NwN game... but that's just the 13-year-old in me with wishful thinking. lol Other than that, I really hope they don't plan on doing an MMO. But I don't think they will... I haven't read any of the books, but I hear they are good. (Unless you're talking about the Forgotten Realms series) but the only books I know about are the prequels of DA:O. Which I've been thinking about picking up and reading.
And I'm actually going to school for scriptwriting. So, from my perspective, I'd love to see them base a movie off of the games... only if the writers have 100% control of the storyboard though. And to stay the hell away from Uwe Boll.

Get free from EA...seriously... EA is the biggest whore in the gaming industry... No one in bioware wanted to make a mass effect 2 for ps3. EA will also come to force bioware to be more mainstream with their games... Which we are already sadly seeing.

I 100% agree with you, there was some talk on bioware social that maybe there will a be a reboot of NwN in 2012 but its probably just talk. the books however I do suggest biggrin the DA books mostly haven't read the ME books yet.

Yeah bioware got alot of s**t for going more mainstream on ME2 but I agree with you it was EA trying to "broaden" thier audience.

Does EA owns part of BIOWARE or only a few franchises? Dragon age 2 so far looks a bit more main stream too, , while I know the original was a tribute to baldur's gate, in their own words, and I knew to expect something different, I am thrilled with the way the story is gonna be told, but the gameplay reminds me of when baldur's gate went console. Well, not as much but you know what I mean I guess.

I dont hate bioware for taking away orgins cause those were fun but like David Gaider said they didnt want to build a franchise just around the orgins of DA. Exactly biggrin as long as they stay true to the series and BG Ill still love it.

I personally dont mind that EA and Biowear are working together. I personally wish that theyd go back and make another KORTOR! the way the 2nd one ended with the Ebon Hawke flying off after malacor V blew up again makes me wonder where the hell is Revan during all of this! Bring back Revan and lets kick some more a**!

I think theres two sides to it i mean sure EA is a total whore but if you look at all of the games we know and love (KOTOR1&2 FTW!!) they mostly have small cult folowings and most of their sales come from re-buys and dont really have a huge impact on the overall gaming community. But take biowares newest endeavors MA2 and DA and youll see they blow all previous sales out of the water and all of that comes from EA's contacts and resources cause lets face it as big a mass media monster EA is it DOES have the cash to do pretty much anything it wants and sure this could mean more mass media targeted games but that could also work in our favor more money means more attainable ideas and who knows maybe a new neverwinter nights wouldnt be just a dream.

My big thing with EA I just hope they dont get bioware to play to the mainstream crowd so much it alienates the hardcore audience. There was some talk about that on the bioware social forums when ME2 dropped. Honestly though I loved ME2 it was just simplified a bit in some areas. So far so good bioware has never disappointed me to the extent where I disliked one of they're games and I think no matter what audience they play to we will still love them and they will still make good games

I've actually heard, though I don't really quote this... but I found Ed Greenwood (not sure if you know him, he's a fantasy author, not sure if he helped co-write with anyone from Bioware?) anyway, I found his Facebook. xD And apparently he runs his own FB account, and I read a status saying they were plans of a NWN 3 and it was going to be released on consoles!!!! Yeah, you could only imagine what I was like. I'll give you a hint. Something like this:

I've always thought those futuristic glasses/eyeband/whasits were kinda snazzy. The ones you cover your eyes with and then you're spontaneously in a video game. So if they managed to do that I think any game would immediately become at least 102% more awesome sauce.
