Taking in a deep breath, Anarion had a fairly solemn look on his face. He wasn't sad or upset, it was just the way he felt most natural. In some moments, he wished that he could hold a happier expression, especially when he first met someone. There always seemed to be an awkward first impression, with his expression added onto his appearance. It was just...how he had always been. But as he had moved away from the treacherous mountains of his youth, he found himself feeling much lighter than he had previously. He also found himself wanting to help others, instead of just beating out competition to survive.

Leaning down, the horn on Ari's mask scraped against the ground. He was fairly bored today, and was at a total loss as to what he should do. When he was by himself, there really wasn't much to do, except wander around until someone popped up along the way. Ah, company sounded so nice right now. Just a friendly face to have a conversation with - maybe even a new friend sounded really nice.

Today was such a beautiful day, as Chatella walked upon the grounds of the land. Her black curled mane blew slightly in the wind. While each hoof stepped on the ground lightly like a small child would do. Then she suddenly raised her face and looked towards the sky. As she did a smile grew on her blank face, since as far as she could see everything seemed perfect with today. If only Midnight could be here flying next to her, he probably would love it too. Though she quickly shook her head of that thought, since today midnight had left to be with his family. Which meant she was left to wander the lands alone at least for today.

"Alone,"
she whispered under her breath. Today may have looked perfect but there was one thing that she figured could make it better. The only thing that could make it better, is if she could find something. Like someone to help heal or take care of or even just talk to. Something like that, that could help get her through the day and help her shine even brighter. Then she heard it a noise, her ears perked up. It sounded like someone was scrapping the ground, and with that observation she slowly began to go in the direction she heard the sound. "Hello?" she said questionly as she continued to walk towards where she thought she heard the scrapping only a few feet away.

Ears perking up at the slight sound off hoofsteps, Ari's eyes soon glanced up to see a dark figure, with crimson hair cascading around its neck. Moving his head up slowly, he almost looked dumbfounded as he looked over the mare that stood just a little ways before him. He had an odd feeling in the pit of his stomach, mainly due to the fact that he hadn't noticed her approach. Either he was just so absorbed in his isolation - or his senses were dulling.

Bringing himself up to his full height, Ari shifted on his hooves. His golden eyes rolled over her, trying to sum her up within a few moments. "Oh, um, hello." He was surprised, to say the least, but it was....a good surprise. After all, all he'd been hoping for was some company.

"My name is Anarion." She seemed nice enough - well, she really didn't seem threatening to the large stallion, and he didn't want to be rude.

One last hoof step and she finally had view of who was making that noise. Chatella was speechless the moment she saw the male. He wore strong armor and had such a wild yet beautiful mane. He was unlike any male she had ever laid eyes on before or helped tend too. An she thought she had seen every kind of male there was out there, now she knew she was wrong. Staring at his unique looks she almost went into one of her silly childish dazes.

Thankful she noticed she was about to go into a daze. So she quickly shook her head to bring her back to the moment at hand, since she realized it was rude to stare at someone no matter how unique they looked. As she did that she then turned her full attention to the male waiting to see if he would say anything. As soon he began to speak, she listened to him with a bright smile on her face. He seemed nice and she was slightly thankful to not have to say the first words.

"Hi there, Anarion. I'm Chatella," she said with a bright shining kind smile before continuing."Sorry to just sneak up on you like this, I just heard a noise and couldn't help but check it out," Chatella said with a little nervousness showing in her voice. Part of her was hoping he wouldn't mind, while the other part was just glad to have some company no matter how brief this company time would be.

Keeping his eyes on the female, Anarion tried to look a little nicer. "Chatella?" Eyes widening for a moment like a young stallion who had just seen a female for the first time, Ari rather liked her name. Something about it was reminiscent of her long crimson mane.

"Oh, it's...fine." Chuckling slightly to himself, he felt his armor shake against his skin. It pinched, only slightly, when he laughed too much, so he tried to keep his laughter low at best. Maybe that was part of the reason he had always seemed to un-approachable. "So you heard me, hm? I must be losing my touch." Smiling earnestly at her, he tried not to focus on the fact that he wasn't sneaky in the least. He was, once, but once he reached his large size, he felt little need to keep up the practice.

"So, Chatella, what brings you to this...quiant little area." Glancing around, it was rather simple, but it was nice enough. Maybe a little too bright and fuzzy for Ari's tastes, but nice.

Chatella smiled as he repeated her name, never before had she ever heard someone say her name before. It was nice to hear some say it though that she had to admit. As she watched his eyes widen she giggled at bit as she looked towards the male. The look on his face was priceless to her. Maybe they were getting off on the right foot after all, she thought to herself.

As she turned her attention back to him, she watched as his armor moved with his chuckling. He had a wonderful laugh, but that armor she thought. The armor seemed to be rubbing up against him and that as when her nurse senses kicked in a bit. It had to be hurting him at least a little bit and no one deserved to be discomforted. Though she decided not to say anything though, and decided to just to wait and see if the armor hurt him anymore throughout their conversation.

"I'm glad it’s alright then, since I know some people don't like when I sneak up on them,"
Chatella said remembering all the times she had accidently scared some of her patients. As she thought of that she really wished her steps made louder sounds as she walked, maybe then she wouldn't ever have to frighten anyone. "Just a little bit," she said honestly with a chuckle before continuing, "Though then again I just have very good hearing being a nurse. So I'm betting to everyone else you were as silent as the wind."

She finished her words and listened to his question. The more she listened; part of her wondered if she should answer truthfully. She began to think of just what she should say, not wanting to sound to strange to the stallion before her. Inside she knew the real reason she was out here was to find some company, so she wouldn't have to be alone. It took her a few moments before she decided that she would go with the truth, since what did she have to lose and plus the male seemed very understanding to her. "Well to be honest I'm out here looking for company, since my assistant is with his family today and I was starting to get lonely," she said ducking her down a bit, "What about you? What brings a strong looking stallion like you out here?"

"It's actually...a pretty nice break from the lonely walking." Letting out a small laugh, Anarion really was getting a little tired of his own company. It was so nice to have someone else to talk to, and it felt like it had been such a long time since he was able to do so. The last time...well, that female left a little bit of a scar on his heart, so he was glad for this sweet female standing before him. It felt refreshing.

"So you're a nurse, huh?" Looking over her, it seemed to make pretty good sense. He'd never met a nurse before, so it piqued his interest quite a bit. "You are pretty quiet; but I bet it'd be a good thing, just in case." Drawing on his roots from the mountain, being able to be completely silent was probably one of the best assets anyone could have. He used to have some degree of it - his armor, of course, made complete silence an impossibility.

"You're lonely too?" Starting out with a soft laugh, Anarion could only hold back more for a few moments. He thought it was quite the situation - two lonely horses finding their way to one another. Maybe it was fate? Or just a great coincidence. "I'm kind of...bouncing back from what I thought would be a life-changing relationship." When he said relationship, he didn't mean romantically; no, he was only being strung along. It was just someone he knew, for a time, that had promised the world to him. But here he was now, far away from all of it. "It had gotten rather lonely wandering around, though. But, I'll be honest, I'm not from the area at all." Looking back to the mare, he gave a small, sheepish grin, trying not to spend too much time on a subject he would much rather just forget about.

Chatella nodded, he was definitely right. Since what he had said also applied to her as well. Up until now she had been walking all by herself, passing by people who had company to speak too. All she'd ever known was Midnight, a bat and her only friend. It must be nice to have company, she thought quietly to herself before redirecting her attention to the stallion before her.

"Yes I am, since I never had a real family. Helping people was what I grew up doing and here I am now - a nurse,"
she said with a smile and a laugh one that was as soft and kind as could be. Helping people was just something she loved, and had loved all her life. She still never understood how she knew what to do, but eventually she just accepted it and if she could make someones day better. That was all that mattered to her. Since she had no family that she knew of for now all she had was what she could offer and that was a helping a hand.

"I suppose your right it might be, though your probably pretty quiet too. Even with your armor, and strong for sure. Since I don't think I could ever imagine carrying armor like that around," she said as she looked over his armor once. His armor looked amazing, unlike anything she had ever seen before. Part of her wondered where it came from, but that question was quickly side tracked as she listened to his next few words. She could feel the pain in them.

She saw his grin and thought to herself silently. Maybe his armor wasn't the only thing hurting. Though from the look of it, it probably wasn't something he'd want to talk about. "Oh I see, well it is their loss for sure. Since you are wonderful company I can tell." With that she smiled kindly towards him and she worked to change the topic quickly.

Oh You aren't? Well how would you like a tour? Since I work around here a lot, and this place is actually one I like to hang around a lot," she offered kindly. Part of her hoped he would accept secretly, since then she could have some company a tad bit longer. Loneliness was never much fun for anyone, even a nurse like her.

"The armor's gotten...easier to carry, I guess." Looking down at it, he had grown used to it over time, his muscles specifically strengthened to carry it. It had originally started out as just a mask; the rest had been made and re-fitted as he grew, a definite necessity for living in the harsh mountains.

"...you think so?" Looking at her straight-on through his mask, Ari had never heard anyone say that. At least, not about him. While he wasn't out-right mean, he was more of a rough stallion, and he found it rather hard to express himself properly. Even now, he was pushing a bit, but that was because he found this mare rather interesting, and kind. "I'm sure you're much better company than I am. You've probably got so many stories from your work and such." Being a nurse, she had to have run into so many others, there had to have been some fun or memorable times.

"A tour would be nice, yeah." Nodding his head, Anarion looked towards the ground for a moment. Well, it's not like he had much else to do, and he enjoyed her company.
