Tulip had come to accept her new form an was actually beginning to enjoy it. She was much taller, slender, and as always, beautiful, at least in her eyes. She'd been able to walk around the whole of "her" forest in less than a day, a trip that normally took several in her previous stumpy shape. Yep, these long legs sure were a blessing now!

"Ah, my what a glorious day!" the Bulbasaur girl sighed happily as she lay back on a soft patch of grass in a small clearing. The sun shone brightly and a gentle breeze whistled through the trees. The few clouds in the sky were white and fluffy, giving no sign of rain. Her red eyes gazed lazily at the clouds as they drifted far over head. Her plans for the day were simple, rest and relax. No worries in the world.

"Yeah," she mused to herself, closing her eyes. Today was going to be a good day.

Unluckily for the bulbasaur, the calm wasn't something that was going to last.

"What the-- GET BACK HERE!!"

A squawk sounded from the purple-and-orange water type as he tumbled head-over-heels through the brush at the edge of the clearing, tripped up by the pink-starred galoshes on his feet. His black eyes were wide, flicking back toward the trail that he'd just dived off of, where a furious woman had run after him, having seen the strange creature steal an odd menagerie of different kinds of clothing, all of which were adorning his previously naked body now.

The bush was ruffled again, presumably by the same person, and he let out another shriek, running toward the only thing that he saw in the area, grabbing the bulbasaur and lifting her into a seated position, hiding behind her and trembling. "Don't let them find me," he babbled, ducking down behind her, completely oblivious to the way that his purple head fin gave away his position like a red flag.

"AH! Like, ugh, wha-!" Tulip stammered as she was tossed about. When the boy finally finished positioning her, she turned around, fuming. "WHY WOULD I HIDE YOU?!" A disgusted noise, and she spun back around, waving her arms about. "HEY! He's over-" She stopped, realizing something. Spinning back around she stared hard at the Mudkip boy. This was the first Pokemon she'd seen that was, well, like her. It looked like he'd gone through the same change she had. Another moment later and she realized what was most likely going on, since she'd had to steal her clothes to.

"Shh!" the Bulba girl hushed him, glancing about for a good place for the two of them to hide. Spying a spot of thick, tall brush, she shoved at the boy, pointing in the direction she wanted him to head. "Go," she mouthed silently.

As though he had expected the female to comply with his sudden, completely uncalled-for demands, the Mudkip's eyes widened as she rounded on him, shoulders stiffening as her voice echoed through the clearing. Surely, she knew better than to be so loud with a pursuer on one's tail?! They were comrades in this quest to stay free of a trainer, one who keeps them in bonds and directs their destiny, certainly she wouldn't turn him over?! The boy clutched at his chest, feeling as though his heart was going to stop as she called for the farmer -- for his grave.

Just as suddenly, the blood came rushing back to his appendages, and he awkwardly flopped to the ground, rising back to his feet in a motion that was intensely reminiscent of a fish flopping for air. He hushed as he was told to, dull teeth prying into his lower lip to keep back all of the questions that rushed into his mind with her rapid change in character. Beady black eyes followed the gesture of her hand, and he nodded, scurrying off on all fours -- he still didn't quite trust his hind legs to support his entire body.

Tulip was not amused with whatever shenanigans this... boy was up to. She continued to shove at him until they were both completely hidden by the bushes. And, as an added safety measure, she clasped a hand over his mouth and gave a glare, as if saying "talk and die." She was bound and determined to keep them both hidden until this human left the area and she knew she was safe.

Leith squirmed at the way that the female was shoving him, though he complied at the risk of his skin, not wanting to know what the man was going to do if he managed to find the lone Mudkip. Luck was on Tulip's side, as the boy had already taken a deep gasp, preparing to speak the questions that had filled his mind, before her hand was clasped over his mouth, silencing him with every certainty. Wide black eyes gazed at the girl with a hint of fear, considering the look in her eyes, but he stayed quiet, figuring that was the best way to earn her trust, for the time being. ( And to keep her from shoving him out into the clearing. )

They stayed there for far, far too long. The farmer crashed around a bit, beating at nearby bushes and shrubbery in the hope of disturbing their keep, coming far too close a number of times. Leith's newly lengthened limbs cramped in their contorted positions, and he held his breath until it made his lungs ache. Finally, the man departed, and a moment later, he pulled the female's hand off of his mouth, taking a deep, relieved breath. "I do believe that we are safe now, milady."

"Thank Arceus," Tulip breathed a lung full of air she'd held back while the man had been stomping about. She relaxed, and crawled out of the brush, not caring if the Mudkip followed her or not. She'd saved his life, now he could leave... or whatever. Once she was back out in the open air, she flopped down on her stomach, already exhausted even thought the day wasn't near half over. "Ugh... humans."
