Without the trash feature does this mean for the most part, any investibility in Event items other than maybe the top tier ones is doomed to be years long investments?

Not totally because not alot of people were really trashing all their event items, or at least I know I wasn't. It'll definitely increase the amount of time it takes for them to inflate though.

Hell, I'm keeping all of my event items anyways.
It is kind of annoying though, not being able to trash things.
Because I'm greedy and don't like the idea of another person using my stuff. >_<

I love it.
I'm working on gathering all of the old event items, not to sell just for keeps.
This Dumpster Dive thing is working out great for me.
