Wynni had come to the shop to gather some school supplies and things not just for herself but for her siblings as well. She didn't have to do this but she wanted to. There was also the fact that she was itching to get out of the house and do something other than chasing little children about or helping someone do something at the house. Not that she minded helping - she loved helping.
She just wanted to do something helpful while being out of the house. Get some fresh air and maybe meet a new friend somewhere, somehow.
The teen pushed a cart down an aisle leaning against it somewhat lazily as her eyes observed the shelves and shelves of various pens and papers pondering what would be best, perhaps she should have started with the crayons at least there she couldn't do wrong for the most part - she knew what all the best crayons were. She started to shift her search toward the more artsy type school supply.

Her cart ended up stopping just before it reached a teenaged boy in the same aisle looking absolutely confused. He was medium height and built, with broader shoulders and a decently developing atheletic build. However, his dark hair was rainbow tipped, he had two small fairywings on his back, and two large rainbow tentacles on his sides, both of which had googly eyes glued on. None of which made him the picture of dignity, to say the least. The look of confusion at all of the different art supplies also didn't help.
Glancing over, the boy blinked at her. "Oh hey. Sorry, am I in your way?" he asked, stepping back a bit. There was a basket over one of his tentacles and a few haphazardly thrown in bottles of crayons, glitter and glue.

She squeaked a bit when she noted that she about ran over the boy (or so it seemed to her) but luckily indeed she had stopped. She backed away and he watched him curiously and noted that he was a very colorful looking individual but that was about the extent of her observations as she backed away a little and shook her head, "Not really. I'm just looking around. Something wrong?"
Wynni had noted a look of befuddlement maybe she could help him, "And I didn't hit you did I? Haha. I was spacing off, I'm really sorry if I did."
The teen didn't recall any impact for she had stopped before there was but for all she knew she did. Then again she was over thinking things and...
Slow down Wynni. It's okay.

He shrugged absently. "Nawwww, I just don't know which of these things-" he gestured to the many brands of markers and things, "I'm supposed to be getting. My Ma wasn't too specific." he explained.
As she asked if he was hit, the boy turned and blinked at her a bit. "No? I'm fine, thanks for askin though? Boris would have stopped it though anyway." he said, pointing to the one tentacle, looking at her.

She glanced at the markers as he gestured to them and listened to him intently as she took a slightly restful pose against the cart. He wasn't sure which one to get. Wynni hummed softly as she tilted her head, "Well there are highlight markers but they just make it so words jump out at you on a page...of course if you just have to do artsy stuff with them then...My brother, Puck, likes those markers best," she pointed to a random box of markers that have a good assortment of colors, "he says they don't dry out so fast," she added happily.
Wynni looked back at the tentacle and smiled a bit, "Ah okay that is good! Nice to meet you Boris," she said cheerfully at the tentacle that seemed to be staring at her. She could see by the way the glued eyes on goggled about aimlessly that they were not real but still it was a neat effect.

Steve stared at the highlight markers and then down at his tentacles and shuddered. "Best to just get that assorted set then. My family gets very...decorative with markers, and they like to make Natasha pretty." he explained with a somewhat distasteful shake of his head. The tentacle on his other side - a longer and thinner one than the other, if only by a little - poked around and nodded at Wynni as he said this. She wanted to say hello too!
"Oh, yeah, that's Nat. Nice to meet you too Miss. Uhh...I'm Steve."

Wynni listened and hid a small laugh but nodded as she looked toward the other tentacle and smiled toward it, "Aww but Natasha is already very lovely she makes a fine compliment to Boris," she praised the tentacles evenly for most of them didn't enjoy being left out as it were she twitched her tail a bit as she leaned and got a couple of boxes of crayons to put in her cart since they were nearby. They were the brand preferred by the children of her household.
She nodded her head a bit, "My name is Wynni, pleased to meet you and your tentacles, Steve." The teen offered sweetly.
So far he seemed like a nice young man.

Steve shrugged, "Eh, my moms and brothers are weird that way. Nat likes getting decorated so I guess I can't complain. The glitter's really itchy though, yanno?" he grumbled a bit, not quite sure what to say. He didn't talk to girls he didn't know often, and was a bit at a loss for what to say to her even. She seemed nice, not who he'd usually talk to, but nice.
