Soiea fell onto her bed and curled up eying a piano "I'm going to play it" She stood up an started playing Unknown

Kaji stopped short of the door and thought aloud Um...everyone i've met so far is a mind reader, so I assume you are too. I'm about to come in, just please don't stop playing that song. He opened the door gently and peered inside to see a girl from the garden playing on the piano. He could remember the song well. He hadn't heard that song since before he'd gotten his accursed powers and burned down his house. Final Fantasy... Memories of his childhood flooded him. His body froze as the music played and he stiffened up, struggling not to cry. He failed and as the tears ran down his face, they evaporated with the heat his active pyrokinesis.

Kaji walked slowly towards the piano and wrapped his arms around the girl's waist. His fingers found the keys from behind her and played the song as she did, his fingers gliding over hers as he pressed the keys in unison with her. The steam continued to flow from his eyes and his body began to heat up. In truth, he was starting to forget where he was as he remembered his parents, and friends, and all the things he'd experienced growing up, before people found out he was a freak.

Kaji's mind stretched around room and found a chair. He lifted it slightly off of the ground with his mind and slid it over to the piano. He sat down and continued playing, his mind ablaze with thoughts. He didn't know whether she would feel comfortable with him sitting behind her, but she was reading his thoughts so she knew there was nothing sly in his actions. He simply couldn't stand any more. He'd stopped crying now, but his temperature continued to rise as he played. At the call of his thoughts, the keys an octave lower began to play themselves adding base to the beauty of the song. His fingers flew, complimenting the girl that had brought him this gift of music. He followed her lead.

Kaji played his parts more softly, drawing out the sounds while his body heated up even more. He noticed a key feeling softer then the rest and had the horrifying thought that he'd started melting the keys. Quickly he drew his fingers away. oh my god I'm so sorry he thought lifting the chair and sitting back. He didn't speak because he didn't want to interrupt the sounds. With his concentration broken, he could no longer play the song, leaving her playing it at a higher octave than usual. It sounded different, but no less beautiful.

Kaji thought about it. "No, I don't. Being lost in the past is nice, but only in small doses". He stood up and extended his hand. "My name is Kaji. I spend my time lighting things on fire and moving things with my mind. What is your name??

Kaji thought about it. the music wafted in, but he was trying to distance himself from it now. He was liable to light her room on fire if he did that. I'll stay... He thought softly. He sat down and waited for her to finish. His mind focusing on reducing the heat his body was generating.
