((RP with Erishi+Shammi, and Shane+Pyren))
Shane was still wandering about the HQ when he heard Pyren's stomach growl. Pyren must have heard it too because a second after it did the boy began to complain as much as he could. It almost got to the point that Pyren had tears in his eyes when Shane stumbled upon the kitchen. Immediatly smelling food, Pyren began to calm down.
"Amazing number of coincedences happening today now aren't they?" he remarked to Pyren.
Pyren could care less about the coincedences, he just wanted food.
Shane began to search about the kitchen for a bottle or sippy cup of some kind. It didn't take long for him to find a clean sippy cup and fill it with milk to bring back to Pyren, who he'd left waiting in a high-chair.

"Okay... Stove... Stove..."
"Ewwi! No 'tove!"
"It's fine, Shammi. The Chineese place is closed today. I'll just heat something up!"
Shammi carefully removed herself from the general stove area. The last time Erishi had tried to cook something, she'd managed to set herself, the stove, half of Jeane's kitchen, and Jeane's son Conan all on fire. While Erishi's were, apparently, fire proof, Conans were not.
"Ewwi...." Shammi whined.
"Don't worry!" Erishi scolded again, looking around for a pot. Not being permitted to have her own stove sucked.

Shane glanced up from Pyren's milk chugging race against himself to see what all the comotion was about and found himself facing two uniquely different people.
One, Shane could tell, was definatly a young Mishap; a chamelion too. The older one, Shane assumed was her guardian. Shane also guess that judging by the way the young Mishap was reacting, and the metalic prosthetics over the older woman, that they may need some assistance in the kitchen. Keeping one eye on Pyren at all times, he made his way over to the closest cupord to him...and found it was full of pots. Shane hoped that the coincedences would soon stop...as they were starting to freak him out.
He quickly went over to the guardian and handed her a pot.
"Here miss. Will this size do?" he asked politely.

"Oh! Hello!" Erishi beamed at him, taking the pot. Carefully, she placed it on her head to judge the side. "Yes, that will do!"
Greeeat. Shammi scrambled over to the poor man and hugged his leg, trying to move him anywhere but near the stove. "Hiya!" She called up, grinning.
"This is Shamilade. She is Erishi's little angel." Still holding the pot in one hand, she leaned down and patted Shammi's head. Turning back to the stove, she started to mutter to herself: "Water, water... Erishi needs yummy salty Rameny goodness..."
"Wun." Shammi advised Shane, nodding seriously. "Fiwa. Boom!"

Shane looked from Erishi to Shamilade and then to Pyren. Shane noticed that Pyren was getting restless after having finished his milk, but he couldn't help but heed Shammi's warning. Shane had been around enough to know how to prevent even a forest fire from breaking out, so he figured it wouldn't hurt for him to stay on standby while Erishi cooked. Shane had a plan then, that would hopefully keep everyone in the room happy.
He turned to Shamilade with a smile and told it to her like it was.
"Shammi, boom or no boom, I think you should give Erishi a chance to cook anyways. But just to be safe, I'll go look for a fire extinguisher and be on fire lookout okay? The only problem is that I can't watch two things at once...so could I ask you to look after Pyren for a few mintues while I keep an eye on the stove? It'll help me alot if you keep him safe just in case there is a fire." That was his plan. He didn't think there was anything wrong with leaving Pyren in Shammy's care, considering he wasn't even going to leave the room at all. He could just tell that Pyren would be getting bored very soon and didn't think it'd be safe to be running from one thing to the next; and he certainly couldn't bring Pyren close to the stove, so he hoped that Shamilade and Pyren would get along.
As if on cue, Pyren's tolerance of boredom reached it's peak. Out of sheer lack of anything else to do, Pyren 'accidentally' dropped his empty cup on the ground and began to cry at the top of his lungs.

Listening, Shammi sighed. She had tried to help him. She shuffled over to the cup and picked it up. She dragged a nearby chair over and climbed up on it, getting a good look at Piren. "Hi, babee!" She said, offering him his cup to play with.
"Shammi is a good girl." Erishi said, watching the girl. She had, evidently, found water, because there was enough in the pan and more on herself. She extracted a pack of ramen from the inside of her coat and put it by the stove, waiting for the water to boil.
It was instant ramen, after all. How dangerous could it be?

Pyren took a look at Shammi's face and almost imediatly started crying louder. However, his wailing was reduced to just an odd sob and sniff when he saw Shammi offering him his cup back. Clearly she wasn't that bad a person, as scary as she may look.
Shane left the main part of the kitchen to search around for a fire extinguisher that may be hidden somewhere. He figured that there should be a sign of some sort pointing it out, but then again, this wasn't a public building. As he searched, he began to find jars of stuff for cooking that he didn't even want to think how to prepare.

" 'matter, baybee?" Shammi asked, brow wrinkling in her concern. She regarded the cup for a moment and brightened. "Still firsty, baybee? Shammi fix!" Climbing down from the chair, she regarded the refridgerator with a baefull stare. Poo. It was tall!
"That looks interesting!" Erishi said, peering over Shane's shoulder. "Would that taste good with Erishi's ramen, she wonders!" Beaming at Shane, she reached over and grabbed a mystery jar and shook it, holding it to one ear. "Hmmm. Erishi will add this!" Humming slightly, she turned to return to the kitchen.

((Okay, there seems to be a time paradox going on here...so we'll just have to be conciouse of that okay? Cool, on we go!))
Shane frowned as he saw that Erishi had grabbed a tin of something that Shane didn't have the time to see what the label said. Whatever it was that he'd seen Erishi pull from the cupport, he hoped it wasn't poisonous. Looking back at Pyren from where he was, he notied that haning from the far wall was a fire extinguisher. He quickly began to make his way towards it.
Pyren heard the concern in Shammi's voice, but then became very confused when he saw her leave with his cup. She couldn't be stealing it could she? Pyren began to cry again, hoping that Shane would stop this cup theif.
Fire extinguishier now safely at the ready, Shane decided that before he secured his 'battle station' he'd better give Shammi a hand with Pyren. Still keeping an eye on Erishi, Shane took out a carton of orange juice and carefully handed it to Shammi to give to Pyren.
"He likes this stuff alot, this should get him to warm up to you." he advised the green Mishap.

Baxterfulous Von Montegue The catfolk opted for holding the bat mishap. Smiling he took Aladon from her and placed him into his arms. "Stir fry?" He canted his head ot the side as he leaned against the wall, resting Aladon on his hip. Holding out his palm towards the mishap, he formed an orb of water, letting it gloop up into the air slowly, spining in middair.

Baxterfullous laughed a bit. "When after yo've been biten by dragons, wasps, and ice maidens... a bite from Aladon doesn't look all too bad." He held out his open palm, letting the orb of water float up and out of his hand, then as though pursueing the lost orb, a silky shadow pushed it'self up and outgrasping for the orb. "Hmmm he seems to have an affinity for magic.. I foresee him being a very good student."
Smiling a bit more, he tired his best to keep the mishap entertained while his mother cooked. "Are you a vegatarian?" He asked, an aire of curiousity in his voice.

Kanilea laughed as she chopped the meat into tiny enough strips that would cook in the other pan fairly quickly. “Ha, no, my belief is in balance with nature, not no connection with it…” She stopped realizing this might be insulting, a little embarrassed she said quietly, “Are you? I make it with out meat if you want!”
Aladon smiled as he watched the shadow move, scrunching his face at the smell of the chicken.
