Hoshioni i find it more interesting that the government shut down the internet there to stifle protests Actually, I think it was only Twitter and Facebook since the president used those sights to set up meetings.

God Emperor Akhenaton Azkeel Yup, and American's are putting up with alot more bs so when it hits here it's going to hit hard. Remember Americans have guns x.x and once they realize they've been lied to by their media they are going to go ape s**t. Then they'll die. Aren't you just sunshine and rainbows. That's not even realistic that's more pessimistic. Meh either way I'd be headed south. I'm not going to go toe to toe with military or para-military I'd rather hang back in the shadows and make my way to a safe zone.

I know people love the idea of being able to overthrow the government, but we aren't that grand compared to the military. I mean look at Somalia. We killed thousands and only lost 19. These people were born and raised by the sword in an anarchy shithole. They are a million times more manly than we could ever be and we only lost because we never had the air support. So what makes you think we would be different? This isn't pessimism, this is reality. We lost our ability to revolt when we obtained a military industrial complex.

I was just watching President Mubarak on Al-jazeera's website with live feeds. He said tomorrow hes going to appoint a new government. I dont think he has any plans of stepping down. Keep in mind, he's been the leader for 30 years now. If you look at the live videos on Al-Jazeera, it looks like a damn war zone. EDIT: Live stream in English: http://english.aljazeera.net/watch_now/

I'll admit, the government has limited our amount of power if there was ever a chance to need to overthrow the government. However, we have many advantages.
For example, we actually LIVE on the home turf of the government.
Not to mention we have plenty of trained citizens.
The national guard would be on our side since they are state government controlled, and most soldiers would be on our side since they don't exactly fight to follow the government. They can't fight back at us because we completely outnumber them and we have contacts to get supplies to do it. As said, the government is only as powerful as it is with enough money and followers. Without much of those, they're ********>

If we tried to obtain the British mainland, there would be no surrender from them. Captain_Shinzo Not to mention we have plenty of trained citizens. Who are outgunned and armorless. They can also be called back at will by the government. Courts have ruled that the federal government is above the state. The state disobeys, the government would ******** it up. They follow superiors regardless of orders. They are trained that way. Plus they get more of an incentive if they are convinced the rebels are a danger to their family and even more so if they lost a battle buddy to them.

I think it would be interesting to see how many deserted or went against orders when they were told to use deadly force on American citizens.

I think it would be interesting to see how many deserted or went against orders when they were told to use deadly force on American citizens radical separatists. That's how. In the US, we really don't mind killing eachother. Gun crimes are just about on an hourly basis here.
