Camilla roamed the untravelled paths. She was feeling adventurous and was up for a good fight if one was to come around. It didn't matter what form or fae it came in; She'd already won out on a cat fight earlier so Camilla sauntered through with a wide grin across her flawless complexion. There was no one that she'd met today who'd been able to out do her.

Cronus sat in a tree, looking down at the approaching female. A wry grin crossed his face as he spotted the approaching female. Lovely, someone to perhaps amuse himself with. He saw most everyone as below him, but dallying with an elegant female would certainly fill his bored hours. The crow-fae spread his false wings and soared down from the branch, landing in front of her.

Camilla heard the silent descent of the fae only seconds before she was startled by him. As he landed in front of her, she automatically brought her side-armed blade up to defend herself and hopped back a few steps. It took her a moment to register just what had landed before her, "Are you a native to this side hmm?" Camilla asked with a smirk. This fae had nothing on her; as was true for her about him.

Cronus smirked slightly. "I am. You're not." He said firmly, looking her up and down. His eyes fell on the blade. "Please. Put that down. You couldn't stand a chance against me anyway, lovely." He said. Cronus couldn't conceive of a female (or male, for that matter) who was his equal, and certainly not one stronger than him. It simply didn't occur to him that he might have offended her, either.

Camilla gave an inner scoff at him and sized him up quickly. She stood there and whipped her tail back and forth in contemplation for a moment more. So far he hadn't shown any hostilities; yet, that was, until she was ready to give him a surprise. "And you like living in the dirt?" Camilla lazily let her eyes roam around, as though it was nothing to her.
She lowered her blade, but kept her guard up; always on alert. It kept one like her alive. "What makes you believe you're better than me? I could be better than you, or we could be equal. But I highly doubt that; I'm a warrior." Camilla stated simply, as though that made her higher on the food chain than him.

Cronus cracked a smile. "Just goes to show that you really aren't from around here. There's a village not far that way." He pointed behind him. He kept a wary eye on her, because although he was certain in his own mind that he could handle her, a surprise attack with a sharp object would be bad. She might even damage his precious wings.
"Oh, I don't think, I know." Cronus said, seeming to absently examine his fingernails for dirt of any kind. "A warrior female? You may carry a weapon, but I doubt you could truly be considered a warrior."

"Hmm, well I came from the opposite direction where there's a good sized civilization." She glanced in the direction he indicated and took a mental note to travel that way. She'd need some place to house in until morning.
"That's what I'd like every other Fae to think," Camilla yawned and slowly shook her head with a smirk. "Underestimate a female; that's what many do." She shrugged her shoulders and found a nice spot against a tree to lean. "The opposites of my kind, they know better. But they wouldn't attack because they're the good part of my kin."

Cronus shrugged. "Civilized folk tend not to understand my kind." He said, reaching up to adjust the painted skull over his head. As he did, the feathers on his false wings rustled. Most who saw a Fae Q'Ave would assume that he had to be mad, to do such strange things.
"Heh. I doubt you have any sort of hidden abilities. After all, the gods gave males strength and wings, not females." He said. then, he made a face, partially hidden by his strange mask. "Or, they meant to."

"Civilized folk don't like the lifestyle I lead," Camilla watched him as he adjusted the painted skull and wondered about his wings. "So, should I just call you Q'Ave, or do you have a name you'd prefer?"
Her eyes narrowed at his comment and she flipped her hair over her shoulder, "You wouldn't want to meet me in the dead of night," Camilla almost hissed but caught herself and merely scowled instead. "Misfits are excellent assassins and I happen to be at the top of them all. What about you? What's your position among the others?"

"My name is Cronus." He said. "And what about you? Or should I call you Misfit?" He asked, grinning.
"Assasination doesn't require strength, madame." Cronus said, adopting a slightly haughty tone. "I, on the other hand, have achieved high status among Fae Q'Aves by acquiring a fine set of feathers for myself." He fluttered his wings proudly. "Of course, the price of success is jealousy, and others constantly challenge me, wanting to steal my perfect acquisitions. I have never once lost."

"Hmm tusche' but, you wouldn't be the first. If you must know my name is Camilla," she held her head high in the air. It didn't do much, because she still had to look up at him. It was natural though, for females to be smaller than males and she disliked it.
"On the contrare; there are different assassination strategies. You can be cowardly and kill from a safe range or go in close and fight; I go in and fight. I have taken out stronger opponents and won; but I'm quick and mastered in martial arts and the norm slice and dice," Camilla held up the arm her blade was attatched to and grinned. "But enough of my speaking; what have you done exactly to earn those . . . feathers?" she asked acting interested. Even if she was a fighter, she knew how to use her femme fatale charms.

"Camilla. What a lovely name." Cronus smirked. Though he was certainly quite self-absorbed, he was not above noticing a lady's beauty.
"I can't imagine why a lovely lady such as yourself would risk scarring in a fight." He said, and he was genuinely surprised. It made little sense to him for a female to risk her beauty in close combat. As soon as she turned the subject to him, however, he was all too eager to speak. "One does not initially earn the feathers, one must find them. I was fortunate to come across a set of perfect, unblemished crow's feathers. No, I did not battle or kill to get them, but I've had to fight less lucky Q'Aves to keep them."

"Keeping this appearance up is a lot of work. But I find scars go away quicker with the right herbs and a nice soak in the natural hot springs. It's not easy being a fighter like me, but it has its perks," Camilla answered honestly. She knew she sounded a little stuck up, but it didn't bother her one bit. Camilla was a naturally self-centered gal and prided herself on it too.
She looked his feathers over again and found they did hold a certain charm to them. "Well they are beautiful; I could understand why other Q'Aves would want to fight you to claim as their own. I've seen some who have almost no feathers of their own, or their feathers just don't look like feathers." Camilla shifted her weight from one leg to the other and gave a curious glance at the skull, "So what do you really look like underneath that?" she asked pointing to the colorful skull with her tail.

Cronus laughed. He still had trouble imagining her getting into a fight at all. "I suppose with the right methods you could make scars go away. But a man is proud of his." He said.
As he noticed her looking over his feathers, he tilted them a bit, showing off their little quirk-the black that they appeared at one angle dissolved into dark green or purple under the right light. Crow's feathers were special that way. "Those are the weaklings, or the lazy ones-the ones that just aren't dedicated to finding the perfect feathers. I hunted for a long time before I found these." He flexed his arms, fluttering the feathers and leaves attached to it.

(My internet bugged out on me >.< I just fixed it)
Camilla smiled and stuck her tongue out playfully at him, "I used to like my scars, but they go away quickly now; so I don't have many for show. I don't know why," she drummed her fingers against the base of the tree and watched his expression.
Camilla grinned as she noticed him tilting his feathers, "Crow's feathers. I've never actually seen any real ones; in old tales from when I was little I heard they were myths. You just proved the stories wrong," she pushed off of the tree and sashayed her way a few feet closer to him. Walking around him in a circle, Camilla observed him.
"You don't look like a weakling; you must be dedicated, hmm?"
