Story of my life: Asmodeus Mann lived on the street as a beggar. He spent his childhood begging for coins to buy food and what little he could buy was usually already stale bread. As he began to grow a little older, he discovered an unusual talent that he would use for the rest of his life. He could catch people's attention and have them focus on whatever he wanted them to. He was only about twelve at the time, but after he got the hang of how to control this strange ability, it became part of his daily life.
He used it to his advantage, drawing attention to street performers as he cut people's pockets and purses. It became a very lucrative business that allowed him to begin to pull things together for himself. He made enough to make him look presentable and like he belonged with everyone else, which, in turn, made his job of stealing easier.
He found a child one day when he was thirteen, a little girl, still an infant really, and saved her from dieing of exposure. He took her, training her to join in on the acts. He quickly found that she was no ordinary girl. she was like him. Special. Different. She had powers too. He came up with an impressive idea. He would make a home for people with powers and he could make so much more money, he could use the powerful children to his advantage.
He has successfully been running the circus for over two hundred years now and thanks to the powers of one of the girls in the circus, he never ages or dies.
He became interested in one of the performers, Madlen, and married her. He'll do anything for her and killed the man who attacked and raped her by having him bleed out from a stab wound and where he cut off certain parts of his body.
I usually am: He had reigned in some of his bigger flaws to please his wife. Anyone dares touch her or their children and he'll make them wish they were never born.

If her power is over-used she gets very tired and very easily agitated. The scars at he throat appears when her powers are dangerously close to nonexistant.
Story of my life: Lilura was the child that Asmodeus found. When she got injured and the scrape healed right away, Asmodeus discovered her powers. After he started the circus, he began to ask her if he could do an experiment. He drank some of her blood and cut himself to see if he would heal. When he did, he made it a regular process.
The process weakens her a lot and she never lets Asmodeus be the one to wake her up afterward. She only performs sometimes, but when she does, she will jump off the high platforms or go in the tank, chained with weights and the crowd favorite is her hanging upside down in an inferno.
Although her relationship with Madlen and Asmodeus is closer to them being her brother and sister, and their children even sometimes give her the title of auntie, they sometimes act like her parents too, particularly when outsiders take a look at the circus.
I usually am: Lilura is usually nice to people and makes friends with most of the performers. She does not like it when people stare at her or her different colored eyes. She loves being up at night more than the day.

Story of our life: Anayah and Sonya were the twins of Madlen’s vision. They were born and raised at the circus, loving it while they were young. As they began to grow older, however, they grew more curious about what else the world had to show them. They left the circus and the people they loved to go explore, despite their parents saying they could not.
No sooner had they stepped from the safety of the circus, however, they ran into some of the worst secrets of the world, the secrets their parents had warn them about. Vial and ugly, Sonya and Anayah were robbed of what little money they had and then taken to a building they were unfamilar with. There Sonya and Anayah expericed the terrors and pains of the world, giving truth to the saying Be careful what you wish for.
Sonya was ambushed by a group of thugs who grabbed her first and threatened her life in order to make Anayah comply. They were taken to an abandoned building and held for a week before the police found them. Unable to escape from their captors because one of them would have been killed, they escaped from their rescuers instead. They left before the police could really question them and made their way back to the circus.
Afraid their parents would be angrier than they already would be about them running away, they only told their best friend, Gwen. They took the punishment given to them and kept their secret from the rest of the circus. Just over a year later, they’ve managed to no longer be punished, although their parents still watch them closely, making sure they don’t try and leave again, not that they are particularly keen to after their last journey into the terrible things the world had to offer.
We usually are: Anayah can be a bit hot headed and tempered at times, but usually only when she's passionate about a subject. Other than that she's reserved and doesn't try giving people logical or extremely intelligent replies, she leaves that all to her sister.
Sonya is usually quiet, hanging in the background if there are people she is not familiar with around. You can almost always tell what is on her mind by her facial expressions. She can process things quickly and most arguments are a losing battle.

Story of my life: Gabriel had lived in a wealthy family with his parents. He was their pride and joy and was to become the heir to their buisness. He worked hard to become capable to do that job. He studied everyday and practiced his speach and social skills all the way up until he was about sixteen.
When he turned sixteen he had started working at his parents buisness to experiance what he will have to do when he takes over. While working he ended up falling in love with a co-worker girl. He dated her for a while without telling his parents, since he knew that his parents wouldn't be very happy about him dating someone that would work for him. When he was about twenty he decided to marry this girl and went to his parents to tell them about his decision. By now he had learned all he needed and was old enough to take over the buisness, so he figured it was a good time to tell them about it.
Unfortuantely he was horribly wrong about trying to get blessings from his parents. They loved him very much and refused to let some pathtic and poor worker women marry him. He tried long and hard to convince them but they refused. They even threatened to not let him take over the buisness, if he did not leave her. Though instead their threat had an opposite affect on Gabriel. He took the women and ran away with her. He didn't want the buisness if it ment he had to leave the one he loved.
As they moved from place to place, they were followed by his parents ambissions to seperate them. His parents would send assassins after her and bribe the people, the girl tried to work for, into not giving her a job. His parents also made it so that no one would marry the two of them. If the girl even stepped out of the house without Gabriel, people would come after her.This process continued on for a couple of years until Gabriel was about twenty six. At this point the girl was starting to lose her mind. She lived in fear of death everyday and she felt like she was useless to Gabriel. It was also over this time period that Gabriel discovered his powers. He hadn't aged a day since he turned 16 and it was noticable.
His gilfriend was obviously aging and it made her even more depressed. Eventually she became so messed up that she would spend her days crying in a corner at home all day and talking to herself. Gabriel couldn't stand it. Everything that was happening to her was all his fault and he couldn't bare to watch it any longer. So he hugged one last time, told her he loved her, and then put his hand on her forehead and erased her memory of ever meeting him. He decided he would rather her live happily without him, than miserably with him.
So he went to his parents and did the same to them. He wanted nothing to do with his old life now. He would just find someplace to go and have no one to follow him. For decades he roamed around the world learning new things and trying to find that place he belonged. He eventually became ok with what had happened to his love and wasn't in love with her anymore. He still liked her but his feelings diminished with time. When he was about 114 he had discovered the circus of dreams and joined. He used his power of mind erasing to clear the minds of patrons who had seen or heard things they should not have. He will also erase the minds of anyone that Asmodeus instructs him to. Through the time that Gabriel spent at the circus he developed feelings for Lilura, who was so very similer to himself.
Even now that so much time has passed, his feelings haven't changed. He is still very much in love with Lilura. He has also gotten used to Madlen and Asmodeus and doesn't dislike them anymore.

Story of my life: Ian was born and raised at the circus. Ever since the day his ancestor, Elaine had worked at the circus, at least one of her descendants always stayed with the circus running the infirmary. Ian was the next in line to inherit the job. He is very social and loves to help people. Lilura, Gabriel, and the other immortals are always telling him he is very similer to her. He never met her so he wouldn't know but he just takes their word for it. He really hasn't had any troubles in life, nothing out of the ordinary anyway, and is told he is lucky for that.
He runs the infirmary with his little sister Cecilia who he makes sure to watch over all the time. She, unlike him, has a power that can't heal others but rather destroy them. Their parents died young while he was about fourteen and he has taken care of his sister since then, with a little help from others. Because of her power people usually avoid her so he kind of spoils her. He even let her name his pet owl. She named him Tweeters.
Ian had found Tweeters when he was a baby bird. Tweeters had fallen out of a free into a bush, hurting him badly but luckily not killing him. Ian nursed Tweeters back to health and Tweeters just never left Ian after that. Usually Tweeters just perches around the infirmary somewhere and never goes far away from Ian, unless instructed. Ian uses him to give messages to other workers when he is to swamped with patients to go himself.

Story of my life: Cecilia was born and raised at the circus. Ever since the day her ancestor, Elaine had worked at the circus, at least one of Elaine's descendants always stayed with the circus running the infirmary. Cecilia's brother, Ian, was the next in line to inherit the job. She had discovered that unlike him, she can't help heal people but infact could do the oppostie. Most people would avoid and fear her when they found out.
She discovered her power not long after watching Ian use his. When Ian had first learned to use his power, he trained on animals before people. Cecilia tried to heal a rabbit that had an injury, the same way Ian healed another, but instead poisned it and killed it. After seeing that, she wasn't allowed to use her power and was kept away from people as much as possible, while her parents were alive. She would rarely leave the health tent so, if people weren't afraid of her, they would have to come to the infirmary to talk to her. They didn't abuse her or anything, they just felt it was the best way to protect her.
After they died however, Ian felt defferently then them. He believed it would be better for her to go outside and meet people so they would learn that she isn't as scary as her power was. Besides, her power won't hurt anyone unless she literally uses it or if she gets a cut and someone touches her blood. Only Ian, and probably Romey, could touch it and help her without getting sick or being killed. Other then her blood however, her other body fluids, such as saliva, were not toxic.
I like:

Story of my life: Melloney grew up in an average, middle class home. Her mother was a secretary and her father, a resident doctor. She discovered her gift when she was angry at her mother. Melloney broke her own hand when it wasn't touching anything. After that , her dad began to teach her many aspects of medicine, hoping she would become a doctor in future years. She had a real talent for setting broken bones that he was very proud of. Sadly, her parents would never get to see her grow up. They died in a car accident, coming home from a weekend conference when she was 13.
Scared and alone, she turned to the only place she knew would take her in. The Circus that was in town. She helped out in the infirmary with Ian his sister, being too shy to actually perform. Not that she had a special talent, really. In the two years She pretty much stays in the infirmary unless there's nothing going on and she feels restless, in which case she wanders the grounds.

Story of my life: I grew up in Armenia, traveling with my parents around the world, like true gypsies. When we reached France, the government wasn't as accepting of our roaming lifestyle, I guess the stealing didn't help convince them much. . .
The week before we were to set off for England, a vision came to me, it showed me my families death. It was my first, and for a while I didn't understand it. That is until the very occurances that I had seen started happening. Fearing for the worst, I urged Papa and Mama to leave that night. But they passed off my vision as a silly dream.
That night, the solider's of France invaded our camp and siezed my family. I was only able to escape by the will of my mother, who had forced me into the secret compartment of our wagon. Forever scarred, I continued the trip to England where I found the Circus of Dreams.
At the circus she fell in love with the Ring Leader, they were soon married and she's is just as happy as she was the day she said "I do."
I usually am: Flirtatious and seductive with Asmodeus but calm and more domestic with her children and everyone else, she blames it on motherly instincts but every now and then she'll slip back into her old personality.

Story of my life: Jeremy and Alexander are twins that grew up in a rich-family house-hold. Jeremy, the blonde, had always the favored child because he was obidient, earning him the nickname "Good" from his mother. Alexander would always pull mean pranks and get in to constant trouble, making him "Evil." As a result, their parents began to favor Jeremy. Alexander was bombarded with comments of how he should be more like his brother, how he should be good. On the night they turned 18, Alexander decided to run away. Unable to stand the thought of being without his beloved brother, Jeremy followed. They walked aimlessly around for years, homeless, hungry, and cold, before they found the Freak Show, the answer to their prayers.
I usually am: polar opposites of each other. Jeremey is kind, caring, and gentlemanly. Alexander can be cruel, easily angered, and demanding, especially to people who are not Jeremy.
Shortly after the Gray ordeal, a terrible accident happened with Jeremy's love. Shiela died and not long after, Jermey followed her with a broken heart. The death of his brother sent Alexander over the edge and pushed him to become entirely crazed. He now seeks to punish the entire circus, for had it not been for this silly show Jermey would still be alive.

Story of my life: Genevieve is a wealthy woman that owns several houses in the many places the show frequents. She is living from the wealth left to her from her parents as well as investments in companies. Many say she is the wealthiest woman of her age. Her uncle has insisted she take a pair of body guards with her at all times under the notion that someone would want her dead.

I'm here because: Dema does whatever is asked of her. She works mostly on any machines used in the circus.

She can also sense people's fear and what it is, although not specifics. People automatically feel like they should stay away from her. If she uses her power of others too often or strongly, she goes back into her worst memory and will receive actual injuries.
Story of my life: Dema's mother left when she was too young to remember the woman. It only bothered he that she was left behind. Her father was a terrible man who beat her mercilessly, trying to control her. She left as a teenager, trying desperately to escape.
She did fine refuge with a new family. They kept her fed and sheltered, giving her a better life for a few years than she could have imagined. She learned about machines and how they worked from her adoptive family. They taught her everything about machines from how to fix them from how to build them.
Her father did not appreciate her leaving so suddenly however. He went looking for her. When he finally found her, he killed the family that had taken care of her and tortured her enough for a lifetime. He carved 'MONSTER' into her back, telling her that anyone who ever dared get close enough to her to see that and know what she really was.
That was when Dema discovered her powers. She could never tell whether it was the illusion or his already crazy mind that drove him to suicide, but decided that the world was a better place. The hospital she was brought to tried to heal her wounds with as little scaring as possible, but the carving on her back is still clearly readable. The fact that when she slept that night all of her physical injuries were inflicted again as she was caught in a nightmare of the event.
She kept moving, even though she had no one to fer anymore. People still feared her and she had no clue was the deal with her powers was. When she heard of a circus where people were freaks in more than the standard circus ways, she found out the people could do things just like her.
I usually am: Dema is usually nice and hates using her powers on people. People's natural aversion to her is not something she takes personally.

Story of my life: Isabella was born into a wealthy family, with famous parents. Both her parents were actors in Italy. They had gotten her into the acting buisness as a child star. She was always being watched by people and told how to do and think things. They controlled her life.
For most of her life she was made to act in movies, do comercials, and even be in a tv series. When she turned fifteen she swapped from acting to modeling. She had discovered her power to stretch and it helped her be the perfect height for modeling. Once her parents knew about her power, they were even more determined get her even more famous using it.
When she finally eighteen she decided she had enough. She was sick of having to watch every little thing she did and being forced to do things she didn't want to do. She snuck away from home, taking money to support herself, and other things that she could fit in her purse. She only took her purse to make it seem less suspicious. Once away she spent time trying to find a place to hide since she was being looked for with people thinking she was abducted.
While in the middle of her search she discovered the circus. Joinng a traveling circus seemed like the best way to escape without being found, so she went inside and talked to the ring master. Since she was famous he recognized her right away and she had to fully explain her story. Once she mentioned her power he agreed to let her stay. She was not allowed to preform however, until they left the country, where no one knew who she was. The last thing he wanted was for people to think the circus kidnapped her to preform for them and make money off of her.
