I just checked out a combat walkthrough trailer of Dragon Age Origins 2 and I am not so dissapointed anymore. I was afraid of not being able to change your class and gender. But I was most afraid of combat style.I found out that you can play in tactical mode(Like In Dao 1) or ''Chaotic mode.I preffer more tactical.I am a bit dissapointed that the game has a main character and the combat style is a bit changed, the skills and spells are so much lamer. ok im happy, not overjoyed ,but happy the only thing im worried about now is if this is going to be a b***h to play on my 360 or not.... also for some reason the gameplay reminds me of the .hack series. and for those who dont know what that is trust me it can only be good.

Why would it be a b***h to play on your 360? I play DA:O on 360. Though I might start playing it on PC. Just looks that much better. But I'm pretty psyched for it. Bioware has never failed me once to impress me with any of their games.

The fact that it's giving us a choice in how we fight already makes me happy.

I might try the new one first to see if I like it or not. Plus that video shown the PC versionw which looks alot more difficult compared to the PS3 or 360. I got a PS3 and 360 but I have DA: Origins on my PS3 the same with the new one coming out in March. Looks cool, Varric looks awesome. XD

I think the choice of classes was always a definite thing, the worrying thing was whether you chose your gender. I'm glad they kept that, but I'm disappointed that they have restricted us to humans. I really enjoyed being an elf, and I was savouring the possibility of being a qunari.... all for nothing... I mean, I can't go around in conversations, saying; "I care nothing for your opinion, strange human" anymore, because I have to be human.
On the combat issue, I got the impression from the game guide (no playing for me, as of yet) that the combat system in general is pretty much the same, with your usual tactics, and the ability to micromanage if you wish, but the big difference is slightly weaker mages, who were overcharged originally, stronger, more diverse rogues, who were pathetic originally, and a change in the ability tree system. With the key word being 'tree', as opposed to the little chains of before.
In general, I think this will turn out to be an awesome game to play, even if you can't have pointed ears or gigantic horns.
