Chishio Ryouji, RP’d by the man who seems to be pretty much everwhere, Kuroteisai!

Reiko strolled into the arena with a blank look on her face. As always, her dislike for audiences and love for battle were going at it. She preferred to fight without spectators. Still, it was important that she made a name for herself as soon as possible. She approached the center of the arena and looked at her opponent. "Yaknow, I liked to climb when I was younger too!" she paused for a second as if remembering fond memories. "Not so loud though, I'm not sure what screaming like that is accomplishing." She slid her sword from it's sheath and lowered it towards the man. She was in a battle now, and the crowd was quickly forgotten. Her face split into a broad smile as she stared at the man. With any luck, this would be fun.

Reiko stepped to the side as the man lazily threw sever shuriken at her like she was nothing but target practice. It wasn't unusual for someone to underestimate her, but he barely even tried. "Guess you aren't much of a talker then?" she said as she continued to walk to the side. As soon as the rock was between them she performed a series of seals and barely even whispered "Kage Bunshin." A figure formed almost instantly as if from thin air, an exact copy of Reiko herself. without pausing it continued to walk around the rock back into view. Reiko remaining behind the rock, out of sight.

Reiko Bunshin kept her blade pointed at the man. It was unlikely he'd know something was going on, she looked exactly as the real Reiko had before she was blocked from view. She launched at the man bringing the blade down in a wide arc, angling it to cut his stomach open. It was a killing strike for sure, but she had a feeling he wouldn't be that easy.

The real Reiko quietly slid a kunai around the corner of the rock to view her target, being careful to keep it in the shadow to avoid catching the light. As soon as he was turned in the opposite direction towards the bunshin she would go into action, running silently in the opposite direction. There was another upturned stone not far away, and she could hide under it as long as she crouched, and she would do precisely that. Directly in front of the rock the shuriken he had thrown before were laying loosely on the ground.

((looking at your post, she was doing a sideways slash at your stomach, how did you sidestep getting out of her 2foot minimum swing radius (that's just the length of the blade, not even bringing in her arm-length which would probably double that distance) then still be close enough to immediately follow up and try to stab her with a kunai as she ran by? he must have some long arms.))
((edit: If you just didn't understand what i was saying in that post let me explain. She was kinda cutting diagnally, starting about shoulder height, going down towards the bottom of his ribcage and through the stomach. I suppose id she did'nt follow through you could be that close, but if you want to risk that my next post will probably be a killing blow.))

((the only reason he was clear of the blade was he ended up behind it. I guess i assumed you were attacking her neck from the front somehow, which there is no way to do that. Looking at the video he sidestepped before it reached him, so mugen ran past him. gene ended up behind him, which is why he was clear...If this is what you were meaning, then i apologize. He would be attacking her neck from the side or the back which is far from difficult to dodge. if this isn't what you meant there is no way she couldn't just slice him by following through all the way to the side. If this is what you intended i apologize for misinterpreting your post))
Reiko ran for the rock as soon as his back was turned. He may have realized something was off, but he still kept facing the bunshin. Before ducking behind it, she threw a shuriken and performed a new set of handseals. "Yadama furooseigyo!" she muttered. A strong isolated burst of wind rushed behind the shuriken doubling it's speed and curving it towards the target. If it hit, it would be fast and hard.

Reiko bunshin followed through with her slash and then rolled to avoid Reiko's shuriken, as well as any counterattack. If her opponent was standing immediately in front of or beside her then he would almost certainly be on his way to another world.

((I'm kind of curious did you just give in and post to avoid argument or what?))

Reiko bunshin rolled back to her feet and continued running, but didn't make it two steps before a shuriken embedded in her back causing her to dissipate into nothing more than a light breeze.

The real Reiko remained hidden until the opponent ran by her rock. Since there were multiple rocks around here for someone to hide behind, it was unlikely he'd know she was here. He'd more likely suspect the taller rocks one can stand behind. As soon as he became visible, she ran at him from the side swinging the sword to the side in much the same way her bunshin had, this time however the distance wasn't too great. If he dodged again she would be in better control, and be able to react easier. Since she wasn't running full on she wouldn't have to fight her own momentum if she needed to stop.

((not sure this arena was properly designed for an assassin type. xd ))

Reiko wasn't planning to follow through with her strike. When her blade made contact with his kunai she didn't even try to fight it, but rather ducked under his kunai and the arm holding it. She felt him stomp her foot, but it was too late to do any good. With the hilt of the sword now facing the man shoved it with all her might towards the man's groin. She didn't intend to stop pushing, intending to push the man over. She seriously doubted any man could take that without curling up in pain, even the biggest badass.

((if this didn't make sense, when she hit the kunai she ducked under letting the kunai push the blade back. Then she hit you where noone should ever hit a man. twisted Sorry if my descriptions don't make sense...))
