 Alamar yawned and stretched. The warm sunshine on his fur made him drowsy. Ristu was supposed to be practicing fishing. The cool flowing water of their river by their home was cool as Alamar dipped his paw in it scarring away a few of minnows. Their scales glistened silvery in the light. He looked up at Ritsu and smiled. Ritsu was trying his best to fish. Alamar had already caught a few small fish and killed them and they were in the shade so they didn’t start to smell. “Ritsu if you’re getting tired feel free to take a break in the shade and have a snack.”Ritsu just looked so very beautiful playing in the water.

 Ritsu was soaking wet. He had been trying all morning to catch a fish and show his mate that he wasn't completely worthless, but all attempts had failed. He went over what Ali had told him about fishing over and over again in his head. But whenever he tried to execute the steps, he seemed to stumble over his own feet. "N...No....I'm fine...." He smiled at his mate.
Oh! How lucky he really was. Alamar was a magnificent creature to stare at. When the sun hit his fur just right he would swear it was sparkly! Ali was so beautiful, it nearly brought tears to his eyes. He was so happy he could die.

(I love Ritsu.. so cute heart )
Chuckling Alamar got up and took off his mothers bow. He set it down on the shore as he slid into the water. “Ritsu you are jerking about. Move into position and relax. Wait patiently until a fish is close.” Alamar kept moving closer to his mate. “Then pounce.” Alamar moved forward suddenly and licked Ritsu’s cheek.
He stayed close to Ritsu but he did not tackle Ritsu like he wanted. The smaller male was so very cute and helpless looking. Alamar didn’t want to emasculate Ritsu, but oh how he wanted to pounce and nibble on Ritsu and his soft fur.

He squeaked softly when his mate licked him, his cheeks flooding with color, his tail going a mile a minute. How could he relax when Ali stood so close to him. It was unnerving, but in a good way. It made him feel anxious, and excited all bundled up into a mess of emotions. He smiled shyly, leaning over to nuzzle the male's neck. He just couldn't help himself when his mate stood so temptingly close.
"Okay Ali....I will try harder..." He tried to remain still, but every few seconds he felt himself leaning further into his mate.
(they are so adorably cute together! whee )

He is blushing again. It is very cute. Alamar ginned mentally. His mate was so cute. Turning his head he quietly nuzzled the back of Ritsu’s neck. “If you lean over any further you are going to fall into the water if I move at all.” He chuckled a bit. “You know if I’m a distraction I can always go back to the shore again.” Alamar made no attempt to move from Ritsu’s side. He did not wish to. Still Ritsu will have to practice fishing if he is going to improve. I know that I’ll be by Ritsu’s side to protect him, yet I did make the promise to teach him to stand on his own feet. I am bound by my word.

"No!" He shook his head quickly, "Y.....You're not a distraction to me..." He smiled and nuzzled his mate back happily, his tail wagging behind him. "Please don't leave...." He looked at him with those cute little puppy dog eyes that came naturally to him.
Ten he turned and went back to the task at hand. He concentrated on the movements on the fish, waiting until they became adjusted to him. He tried at least four times before he was finally able to knock a fish out of the water. "I did it!" He beamed and danced around, not caring that it was like the smallest fish in the existence of fish.

Unable to resist the cute eyes that Ritsu was so skilled at doing he only nodded showing that he would follow Ritsu request. He didn’t risk speaking because that would lead to kissing, and then to Alamar having to drag Ritsu to shore because if he pounced on Ritsu in the water they would both end up near drowning.
As quietly as possible Alamar watched as Ritsu fished. How he wanted to tell Ritsu ‘too soon’ or ‘not quick enough’ still he bit his tongue to keep from distracting Ritsu. Then a miracle happened. Ritsu knocked a fish out of the water. “Well done!” Alamar beamed at Ritsu watching him dance. “That was very good Ritsu. Shall we head back to shore and snack for a bit or would you like to continue fishing?” He moved closer to the brown fox and splashed some water at his mate.

Ritsu beamed and tackled his mate into the water in a moment of pure elation, which was not a good idea because it soaked both of them and they nearly drowned. Chocking up water, he crawled to the shore with his mate. "I....I'm sorry..." He blushed as he looked over at Alamar. "I....I got over excited..."
He walked up the shore and shook out his fur, then shivered. "Brrr...." He ran over to Alamar and snuggled into his mate for warmth, rubbing his body against the male's to add friction.

Ritsu’s sudden motion caught Alamar off balance and sent them both toppling into the water. After spitting out the water and river sand that had somehow wound up in his mouth Alamar headed to shore. He barely had time to shake off before Ritsu was there rubbing and warming him up. “It is not your fault Ritsu. I was tempted to tackle you truth be told.” Alamar wrapped a paw around Ritsu as he nuzzled the smaller male back. His heart was racing as Ritsu rubbed against him. How did I get so lucky to get him? Placing his muzzle at the base of Ritsu’s neck were the males black hair ended Alamar blew hot air across the nape of Ritsu’s neck. “You are just so tempting to pounce you know that?”

He flushed at his mate's words, his body feeling hot and cold at the same time. Ritsu couldn't explain it, Alamar made him feel like he could do no wrong. Perfect. He chuckled to himself. Thinking himself perfect seemed ridiculous. But that was how his mate made him feel, almost to a point of powerful. He had power over Alamar, it was exhilarating.
"I am?" He shivered at his mate's breath, "I...I'm feeling the same way about you...." He smiled shyly. "I love you Ali..." He closed his eyes and wrapped his tail around his mate.

“Mmm you do.” Alamar smiled hearing Ritsu say such things made him want to jump up and shout for joy. “I love you too Ritsu.” Life just felt so perfect sense he had met Ritsu and agreed to stay with him. It was so very different from the life he had lead in Tzara. Bogged down by rules and protocol Alamar had been suffering and suffocating and hadn’t realized it. He knew Ritsu’s life had not been a walk through irises either. Still he wondered if Ritsu had any relations or close friends. Some protocols existed for a reason. Introducing one’s self to a mate’s family or friends that were nearby was a must. Still he didn’t know how bring this subject to bear with Ritsu given Ritsu’s painful past.
(does Ritsu even have anyone special? )

He smiled and nuzzled his mate more, he couldn't help it. "I love hearing you say that...." He giggled softly, happily. Ritsu couldn't remember the last time he had smiled so many times in one day. "Ali...." He kissed his mate tenderly, then pulled away with a sly grin.
"Let's eat some fish." He ran over to his kill and looked at it, blushing slightly, "IT looked....bigger when i knocked it out."
(no he is alone besides Ali)

Blinking at the soft kiss Alamar started to follow Ritsu as he pulled back ensnared by the other’s charm. “Ah yes.. the fish.” He chuckled. “Do not worry. That is why I got the other fish over there.” Alamar waved at the fish snacks in the shade before heading over to collect them and his mother’s bow he left on the shore. “Well where would you like to eat?” Alamar was good traveling anywhere to eat as long as Ritsu was comfortable.
(aw… *wants to hug Ritsu* Ali has a half-sister that would still speak to him even though he mated with an outworlder but she isn’t in existence yet..) )

"Oh...." He smiled as he looked around, "I want to eat in the shade..." He grabbed his fish in his mouth and ran off into the forest to find his favorite tree. It was the one by their den, the tree that they had met in front of. He stopped in front of the tree and laid down on his something.
His tail wagged as he smiled and waited for his mate to catch up to him.

“Alright.” Alamar followed Ritsu to the tree where they had first spoken to one another. He instinctively looked up to see if there was squirrel about that might start chittering at his mate again. He smiled looking back wondering what the outworlder was doing. Alamar couldn’t believe he thought Ritsu had been a girl. Then he looked over at Ritsu and saw it all over again. Ritsu’s delicate frame and feminine motions. How he loved them all.
(Has to wait for bribes to open up to have her born.. >>)
