P E R S O N A L I T Y & H I S T O R Y
Personality → Isabel is as carefree and happy as any eleven-year old could be! Having been raised by two committed, caring, and supportive parents has helped Isabel develop an early sense-of-self, and an unwavering confidence that makes an unshakable girl. Overall, she's bubbly and friendly and is rarely in any type of dour mood. Its quite easy for Izzy to find and make friends, and she never seems to run short of things to talk about!
But, as anyone young and immature, Izzy is prone to sometimes rash and rushed decisions. She's often spontaneous without thinking of the consequences, which may lead her to find herself having hurt someone emotionally without the intent to do so. Isabel is also terribly disorganized; her schoolbag is a mess of papers, folders, pens, pencils, quills, and much more. The young first year is also notoriously late- whether its to breakfast, class, or quidditch practice!
History → Isabel is the middle of three girls, born to a witch mother and a muggle father. Her father is American and in the military. He was stationed in France when he met the girls' mother, and convinced her to come with him when he relocated to England. After being honorably discharged from the military after over a decade of service, Isabel's parents found that they had no desire to leave England. They settled down on the outskirts of a somewhat large city, close enough to be within a comfortable distance to a hospital, a good school, and various other luxuries, but far enough that they could maintain a somewhat agricultural lifestyle.
Despite being a witch, Isabel's mother was raised old-fashioned and found herself quite the homemaker. She cooked, cleaned, tended all aspects of the home while Isabel's father worked a stereotypical nine-to-five. Isabel was born when her elder sister was three, and Isabel herself was three when the youngest sister arrived. Out of the family, only Isabel, her mother, and the youngest sister are witches; the trait skipped over the eldest sister.
Being the first in the family to attend Hogwarts has become something for Isabel, and her family, to be proud of. Isabel's mother was taught to use her magic by her family- an ancient French line, rigid and stiff in their traditions. So, being the first to receive any proper training at
the Hogwarts Academy has led to some recent excitement and change in the household. Isabel's older sister, and younger, are both jealous of Isabel's opportunity, while her parents are somewhat at a loss as to how to properly prepare their daughter for her schooling.
