She was alone today, having wandered off on her own to spend a rare day outside, in the painfully bright but not altogether unpleaseant light of the sun. Her father had been asleep when she stole quietly from the room, though he didn't really sleep like normal people did. Still, his eyes were closed and his book was only partly in his grasp when she left, the only sound emanating from him being the quiet, even breath of sleep.

Yet now she was outside, trotting aimably towards the farm area. Anvion, her Mother-to-be, had taken her out here once, though Bergerac barely remembered it. Something black and white, and 'arrr'. Maybe there were pirates? They appeared in some of her father's stories that he often read to her, and sometimes when she went to Anvion's her brothers-to-be often played at pirates. They sounded delightfully fun, though Bergerac was too shy to admit that they seemed a little scary, too. They weren't always so nice in the stories.

When she finally reached the farm area, she was disappointed in that she couldn't find anything that went 'arrr'. The only black and white things were the cows, but they went 'moo.' She paused to pet them a while, but then soon her shildish attention span drew her towards the sheep. She had always thought them to be cuter, and therefore they were better to her.

Smiling lightly to herself, the aged baby drew towards the sheep pen, sky blue eyes lingering fondly over the fluffy animals. Although she was usually a very dainty and careful girl, Bergerac decided to play the part of a tomboy today, scrambling over the rails and jumping with a graceless plop into the other side. The sheep seemed unsurprised, staring at her dully.

"Hello sheep," she giggled softly, carefully approaching them, one hand holding her logn skirts while the other was held out so that she could pet the wolly barn animals. "Don't be scared. I'm not going to hurt you. I only want to pet you..."

In the distance, Pyren could be seen running across the feild towards the farm area. Shane was still out at the time, but he had the walkie-talkie with him in case anything happened. Working out his new, strong legs he bolted across the feild towards the sheep pen, breathing hard, but never looking the slightest bit worn out.

Finally, Pyren reached the sheep's pen and stopped at the end across from Berg.

"Sheeeep!" he hollared before ducking down to pat them singing, "baa baa sheep sheep."

Pyren ran so fast that he didn't notice Berg across from him. What he did notice was the amount of dirt that was in the sheep's wool. Trying as best as he could, he ruffled the wool and picked out the odd bit of wood and dirt, while trying not to breath any of it in. The wool was soft and fluffy, and reminded him vaguely of Retta, but it was alot more rougher, and moved about, and said "baaa"...and chewed on his shirt.

"Heeeey, no sheep. Bad sheep!" Pyren scolded the one to his left that had taken an edible intrest to the treble clef on his shoulder.
