Normal Rarity | Common Normal Ulaya are the most common found in the Jokoa` Realm. They are of average size, speed, and weight with no distinct characteristics. Ulaya with cat tails are also simply considered normal Ulaya, though rarer than the generic Ulaya. PowersThese Ulaya do not possess any powers inherent to their breed.

Ucolian Rarity | Common Ucolian Ulaya, like Normal Ulaya, are also very common throughout the realm. They are smaller and lighter than Normal Ulaya, and slightly quicker. Their distinct feature is the small, feathery wings on their backs. Due to the size of their wings, they cannot maintain flight for long periods of time, but they can glide when jumping from an altitude, flutter into trees or onto rocks, and hover above the ground. PowersMaintaining flight for short periods of time. Hovering.

Undulcan Rarity | Common Undulcan Ulaya are the last of the common species of Ulaya. They are of average size, speed, and strength. They can be distinguished by the pair of leathery wings on their backs. There are two different kinds of Undulcan, one of which has smaller wings similar to the Ucolian's, and another with considerably larger wings. The larger winged Undulcan are the ones pictured in the image above. These Undulcan are able to fly and utilize their wings to their fullest extent without much difficulty. However, due to the size of the Ulaya itself, it cannot fly for days on end without exhausting itself. The Undulcan with the smaller wings, like the Ucolian, cannot maintain flight for extended periods of time, rather, their abilities are limited like the Ucolian. They can fly for a short while, hover, and flutter onto or into elevated objects. PowersSmaller Winged Undulcan

Yunin Rarity | Uncommon We're currently revamping their templates, since some major edits were missing on the males! Yunin Ulaya possess a single, spiraling horn located in the center of their foreheads right above their gems and cloven hooves replacing their forepaws. Yunin need both the horn and the hooves to be classified as a pure member of the species [ie; an Ulaya with a spiraled horn but no hooves would be considered a Yunin crossbreed and vice vera]. However, only Yunins with the horn are gifted with the ability to heal minor injuries and ailments. The power is supernaturally condensed in their horns, not their hooves, so Yunin crossbreeds with only cloven hooves do not possess any healing abilities. The ability is limited; the Yunin cannot heal catastrophic injuries or illnesses, and they cannot resurrect the dead. If an Ulaya has a mild sickness or injury, however, the Yunin can alleviate the ailment or repair the damage. Yunin crossbreeds [those with the horn but without the hooves] have weaker healing abilities than pure Yunin. PowersMinor healing abilities [ONLY if the Yunin has its horn, and those without hooves – crossbreeds – have weaker healing abilities].

Moto'undil Rarity | Uncommon Moto'undil Ulaya can be identified by a pair of curved ram horns, a long leonlike tail, and a mane running down their backs. Ulaya that only express some, but not all, of these three characteristics are considered Moto'undil crossbreeds. Pure Moto'undil are larger and bulkier than all other breeds save Draco'ula and some Gods. They are also a little more aggressive, frequently butting heads like rams. Due to this, they generally have thicker skulls to protect them from concussions. Moto'undil have no special powers, just are larger and stronger than other species of Ulaya other than the two aforementioned species. PowersNo special powers. Stronger than other species of Ulaya [aside from Draco'ula and some Gods].

Papillu Rarity | Rare Papillu Ulaya are defined by their insect-like wings [usually resembling a butterfly]. They are no bigger than half the size of normal Ulaya, making them the smallest and lightest of all species. It is due to their size that they are able to fly quickly. Generally, no two Papillu have the same wings, and many variations of the wings exist. They have no powers aside from their ability to fly. Powers

Uudesa Rarity | Rare Uudesa are the aquatic species of Ulaya, the only species who populate the waters. They do not have hind legs, rather, they have a scaly, dolphin-like tail which provides them incredible mobility in water. The tail beats up and down like dolphins and whales as opposed to beating side to side like sharks. They are mammals still, like every other Ulaya. However, they have the ability to breathe underwater and can thrive in both freshwater and salt water. They rarely come up from water, and therefore can be incredibly difficult to find. PowersAble to breath underwater.

Ki'rin Rarity | Rare Ki'rin are the most graceful breed of Ulaya. They can be identified by their shaggier fur; scales on their backs, shoulders, and hips; a scaly tail from which sprouts long, sweeping fur; and a single spiraled horn in the center of their foreheads above their gems. Any Ulaya with only a few of these characteristics, but not all, is considered a Ki'rin crossbreed. All Ki'rins have some sort of hair [even if a Ki'rin Ulaya has a hairstyle or tail style different from the one depicted in the image above, the Ulaya is still a Ki'rin]. Though Ki'rin horns resemble those of the Yunin breed, the two are quite different. Despite the Ki'rins' spiraled horns, they do not possess any healing abilities. The horn is curved and not supernaturally gifted like that of the Yunin. It is more for decoration and elegance rather than to serve some particular purpose. It can be used as a weapon should the Ki'rin find itself in such a situation, though that is rare if it has happened at all. Ki'rin are inherently tranquil breeds who avoid violence. They are more likely to find someway to disappear rather than fight. Ki'rin, while usually taller than regular Ulaya, are leaner, lighter, and more lithe, making them incredibly agile. They are widely regarded as the most beautiful and graceful of Ulaya species. PowersNo special powers. Most graceful of Ulaya breeds, and widely considered the most beautiful. Not violent or ill-tempered, though there are some rare exceptions.

Draco'ula Rarity | Rare Draco'ula are easily recognizable by their large, leathery, draconic wings; scales as opposed to fur, particularly on their undersides; frills on the sides of their faces; ridges at their brows; long, reptilian tails; and other features making them resemble a dragon. Males sometimes have long whiskers on either side of their nose, though an Ulaya only needs scales, dragon wings, and a serpentine tail to be considered a Draco'ula. They are typically twice the size of normal ulaya and considerably stronger. Despite their size, they are usually quite quick, making them very deadly opponents. Some can even breath fire. Many Draco'ula suffer from infertility, so even if they crossbreed with other races, they are only allowed a maximum litter size of 4. However, the Draco'ula gene is always dominant in the few children they have. PowersFlight, and able to maintain flight for extended periods of time. Largest and strongest of all Ulaya breeds. All can breath fire.

Gods and Goddesses Rarity | Legendary These are the blessed Ulaya who rule over the Jokoa` Realm. Each one has complete control of a domain, and no two can rule over the same domain. They differ greatly in appearance, but tend to resemble the domain they control. Gods and Goddesses can breed with mortals, the mating resulting in the birth of Seers and Shamans. Those who breed with other Gods and Goddesses give birth more Gods and Goddesses with realms similar to those of the parent Gods. They are generally immortal unless they choose to die, and they all have special powers related to controlling their realm. All Gods can communicate telepathically with all other kinds of Ulaya, though any non-God Ulaya cannot communicate back telepathically; and all can fly, even without wings. PowersFlight for extended periods of time, even those without wings. Can communicate telepathically with other Gods, Ulaya, and species. However, only other Gods can communicate back telepathically. Teleportation, both short range and long range. Can appear as simple mortals, concealing their identity from others. Immortal, unless they choose to die. Immune to the powers of other Gods. Powers differ from God to God, since every God rules over a different domain. NotesA complete list of Gods, Goddesses, and their respective domains along with information about obtaining a God can be found here. The God and Goddess in the image above are Kitsuaki, God of Souls owned by liela-dragon-rayne1 and DragonEnchantress and Devika Māyā, Goddess of Dreams owned by Ovarian Paint.
