Being the shy type, he decided to watch quietly from a distance, but as soon as she began making the funny faces, he couldn't hold it in any longer. Ren bursted out into a quick fit of laughter before catching himself. Hoping that she hadn't heard him, he quickly backed up behind a tree and tried to be as quiet as possible.

As she continued to make faces they became more and more obnoxious.... that is until she heard someone laughing. She froze, awkward face still in place, before glancing around to try and see if there was a face behind the sound or if it was all in her head. Ears flickering back and forth as she listened out for any more sounds.
While looking for someone and finding no one, she began to wonder if she finally was going bonkers. Ell pondered getting up, but just felt too lazy. Since there didn't seem to be anyone around, Ell just went back to entertaining herself by making more faces before just flopping over on her side and rolling about in the snow. She was always so bored, but always so easily entertained.

Ren poked his head around the big tree that had been blocking him. Once he had confirmed that he hadn't been spotted, he breathed a sigh of relief. "Alright, now to just sneak away without her noticing...can't be that hard to do, she seems pretty preoccupied" he whispered to himself and then turned to begin walking back towards his favorite resting area.
Before he could get very far, Ren stepped on a small branch, thus making a rather loud cracking noise. His entire body froze in one place, as he closed his eye and hoped she wouldn't spot his vibrant pink body and mane. Though he knew that would be along shot, considering everything else around them was white. "Alright, I can't see her, so she shouldn't be able to see me. I mean thats how the old saying goes right?!" he muttered quietly and then kept replaying those words in his head over and over.

Ell was just having a good ol time now, goofing off. Bugging her brothers for entertainment didn't even cross her mind as she just continued looking absolutely ridiculous by herself. At this point in time she more than likely could have gone on forever like this... that is until he heard the snapping of the twig.
Just about jumping out of her skin, the mare leapt up and searched the trees wildly with crazed eyes. "OKAY! THAT'S IT!" she shouted out in her very unladylike way. "WHO THE HELL IS OUT THERE?! I WARN YOU... " Ell said with a shaky voice this time.. not sure who to expect out there in the trees "I CAN KICK YOUR a** IF I NEED TO!"
As her eyes followed the treeline they came across a bright pink color... that wasn't right. The color turned into a more horse-like shape as she concentrated on it. 'Ahhah.. I found you....' Ell thought to herself. Unable to control herself, she made a mad dash towards the trees.. the pink horse in the trees. Granted pink wasn't a threatening color, but you can't judge everything by the outside. Not only that, but Ell was always looking for some sort of trouble even if she didn't realize it.

Ren had continued chanting in his head, in hopes that she hadn't spotted him, but when he heard the sound of galloping, his eyes shot open and he turned in Ells direction. "Oh crap...." the poor soul thought to himself while the bright blurr was quickly heading his way. Sheer panic set in and Ren began trembling like never before. He knew it was wrong to have laughed at her, but he hadn't meant for it to be offensive. At this point he really only had two options. Try and dodge her, or hold his ground and hope he was strong enough to keep her from sending him flying. Since speed wasn't really his thing, Ren chose to stand his ground, and maybe reason with her before she collided with him. "H...Hey. No need for a** kicking, I swear. I'm sorry if I offended you....I....I come in peace?"

In her full on rage, Ell continued towards the stallion. Her eyes ablaze with anger for him laughing at her, she set them to focus on his eyes, hoping to burn fear deep down inside him. As she was only now a few feet from plowing into him, she suddenly put her hooves down, skidding to a stop, then raised her head to get as close to eye level with him as possible. Her eyed gleamed with a full on rage as she took in a deep breath and screamed at him full on. It was more like her attempt at a lion's roar, but there's only so much a horse can do after all. Spit was flying out of her mouth as she 'roared' at him. After what could have seemed like ages, she stopped and stared at him, still looking crazed and waiting for him to react.

All of the hair on Rens body shot straight up as Ell screamed at him. Who would have known laughing could cause such a dramatic response. As he tried to avoid directly looking in her eyes, Ren scanned the area where they were standing and noticed a small flower patch by their feet. He quickly knelt down and picked one with his mouth, then looked at Ell, with the most apologetic expression he could muster, then mumbled "I'm sorry...flower?"

The mare grinned widely at the terror she was causing the poor stallion. Why she got her kicks from it.. the world will never know. Ever watchful eyes followed the male's every move. Confusion washed over the mare's face as he picked the flower then apologized to her. 'What the... ' ran through her mind. Ell's right eye twitched slightly as she skittered back a couple feet. "What the hell are you doing?" She just stared at the flower, an ever so slight smile at the pretty thing flickered at the corners of her mouth for a moment then faded away. It was something she didn't comprehend because she was not used to such things. The apology bit she knew because her parent's always made her brothers say sorry, but what the hell was with the flower?

Ren could tell she was too baffled by the flower to really take it from him, so he placed it next to her hooves and gave her a sheepish grin. "Well, I was giving you a flower....I feel bad, I mean...I hadn't meant to come across as rude by laughing. Y...you just looked like you were having so much fun over there." he looked down at the grass and blushed slightly as he recalled her facial expressions from earlier. They were pretty silly, but at the same time kind of cute. "I really am sorry...." he said again as he lifted his head and looked her straight in the eyes.

Ell stared down at the pretty little flower laying down at her feet. To not chance risking her tough chick appearance she was trying to keep up with this stallion, she resisted picking it up even though she really wanted to. "Well.. You're just a little weird aren'tcha?" Her ears flicked backwards, her eyes drawn down to the little flower. "So do you make it a habit to watch others, or was I just that eye catching?" She was a bit full of herself, but it is just part of who she is. She slowly lifted up her foot and placed her hoof on the stem of the flower, at least claiming it in a way.

Ren had felt a little confused by the comment about him being weird. Wasn't it considered common courtesy to apologize when you've done something wrong, and to treat a lady with respect? That had been the way he was raised, he just assumed everyone else followed the same set of rules. "Huh?! Well, I definately don't go around watching others like that, so I guess you could say I found you rather eye catching...." Rens cheeks began to heat up just as soon as the words rolled out of his mouth. It seemed as though no matter who he was speaking with, if they were of the female variety, he couldn't help but feel awkard and a bit shy. Always blushing, and always doing something dumb.

Ell beamed as he said she was eye catching, because she very much felt that way and was thrilled when others did as well. "Well since that's the case I'll happily make faces at you anytime." She grinned a haughty grin at him, then looked him over again, figuring she would inspect this stallion. "So what's your name anyways?" She asked with a slightly demanding tone in her voice as she began circling around him a bit.

Ren raised an eyebrow as Ell had begun circling around him. Though her mood had calmed down, he still couldn't shake the nervous feeling he had coursing through his entire body. She was just so intimidating in every possible way, that feeling was enough to make every single hair on his body stand straight up. As he took a big gulp, he turned his head towards her, forced a smile, and said "Names Ren. H.How about yours?"

As she trotted around him, inspecting this brightly colored male, Ell made sure to keep up the intimidating act for she was thriving off the feelings she was getting off him. "Ren huh? What kinda name is that? It's way too short... she said with a demeaning tone in her voice.
Giving out a quick, cold laugh, the mare trotted right back in front of the stallion and tossed out her mane in a dramatic way. Smirking at him, all her confidence in her brimming out, she chimed out her name like it was the greatest one in existence. "My name is Lanie Mariam Noelle Ondine! It gets shortened down to Ell Em En Oh sometimes, but most just call me Ell."
She preferred her name said the long way but never thought highly enough of anyone to be able to remember it. "Since you prolly won't be able to remember my name I'll permit you to call me Ell though.. just to save you some trouble."
