With things going the way they were in my relationship I really needed to get out and clear my head. It's hard and I don't know if I am making a big mistake or not but I do know that I have to force myself to take this time away.
My head is just so jummbled and foggy.
Hope the Valentines event will provide a good distraction.

How do you all cope with loss?

What kind of ways do you clear your head?

Whats the best way to relax and take "you" time?

Have any special rituals, music, or movies that really help lift your spirits?

A nice sexy romance novel always makes me feel better.

I'm sorry if you're feeling sad, darling, but I truly think you deserve more, better, than what you were getting.

Sorry I haven't been around lately, it's a busy time for me, but I'll be around soon. Miss you!

crying I hope you beez okay *nods*

I don't cope with loss, I have avoidance tactics. They aren't so good for you though, so don't use them! I clear my head with anime/manga or Yiruma's music, that's also my me time and spirit lifting stuff. My best ritual is brushing my teeth over and over. It makes me feel clean and lighter. You should try that one! Blowing bubbles works too. You can just watch them float about all light and floating and pretend you're a bubble too and that you can be all pretty and see-through and reflect-y and floating like a bubble too!

Think happy things like kittens and sparkles and puppies and sparkles and bunnies and rainbows and sparkles and flowers and sparkles and sunshine and sparkles. Thoughts and emotions are linked lots, if you think very happy you can be very happy almost every time, 3nodding

This song works every time for me

Hope I'z helpful!

I'm sorry to hear that you're in such a confused state! : surprised ffers cuddles:: I hope you start feeling better soon; this will sort itself out. Hang in there!

When I'm feeling really down, I found that there are a few things that usually cheer me up. One of them is watching "Pretty Woman," hilariously enough; I like seeing Julia Roberts get a happy ending. And the chemistry between her and Richard Gear makes me believe in real romance. sweatdrop The other thing I do is make cookie dough to eat while watching my favorite old anime. My brother and I used to do that all the time when we lived together, and so both the shows and the food remind me of good times. Also, pure vanilla extract is, like, 35% alcohol, and if you don't cook the dough, you're just slowing getting buzzed.

. . .I usually eat my sorrows, now that I think about it.

Everytime you think about the relationships, always think about the bad things that happened between you two and be happy that you've broken out of it!

This should help if you're having a hard time coping with it......but it's just a hypothesis of mine so I'm not quite sure if it'll work. O.o

But one of my psychology textbook said "people who were angry about the marriage breakup coped better than the ones who weren't," so it'll probably work...maybe?

I hope you'll get better soon sad
