Open for development, any suggestions?
EDIT: For the story to have one male character we'd need a few girls obviously, thus, I'll give a few examples of a background to make them with, though they'll be simple since I want all of the characters to be original.
1. Childhood friend (Its a given I think)
2. Non-blood related sister (Possibility, though it doesn't need to be there)
3. Violent best friend (Lol)
4. School Idol (Another given I think)
Anyway, those are just a few examples. If anybody can think or make the profile skeleton better looking, then feel free to do so. Oh yeah, go ahead and make a character you want to use for females, or male in case we decide to change the number of men. I'll need their names to write out the synopsis for the story outline.

How about the shy girl? Or the rebellious girl? I've actually got a book about drawing shojo girls for video games, and the entire first part of the book is basically dedicated to harem games (though it's translated as 'school simulation games', the text is very explicit about the player getting to choose who to hook up with). Should I raid that?

Just a reminder that this roleplay idea needs to be filled out before it's filled up. There's nothing in the way of story background or plot as is. So... work on that first, please.

If I may add a suggestion to the background story or prologue, perhaps for starters, you could say that something happened to the male protagonist that draws the attention of all the female characters; e.g. Family involved in an accident (not necessarily fatal), etc. It's just one possibility. I'll add more suggestions later if I happen to think of one. mrgreen

Perhaps his family just moved to the city and live in a crazy looking house thats multicolored making them local celebrities.
His parents are involved in a financially crippling situation all over the news and split leaving him to an orphanage.
He was an orphan to begin with and just got moved (new kid=new interest).
His parents are famous?
He is rumored to be a genius and got mysteriously placed at the day care everyone is at ninja
He got adopted into a family with only girls. xd

I'm wanting to have a complete story from the get go, which is why I need to know who the characters are. Though to speed this along, I'll put up the man character's profile. Is what I was going to say originally, I'll just throw down the synopsis then and let people fill in the blanks for names. Mobius Edit: Its down now.

So pretty much you just want character sketches to help the plot then? Something like this? (4th post down) Is that kind of what you were imagining? If so I think that that'd be a pretty good way to format it. 3nodding

Yeah, that is a good way to format it. Though I'd prefer it if people would fit that kind of a profile, but I'd also like it to not be so clearly defined. Meaning, that not everybody can fit into a standardized profile, so I don't mind if they go outside it.
Mainly, I just need to find a layout for the thread-essential posts and then I can complete the idea. Since I went ahead and took care of the synopsis already.

Well, you don't need names and character personalities (if that's the sort of thing you were going for) to be set up now. Roleplayers can come in and make the characters, themselves, later. I mean, that's the way I usually roleplay.
