Digger ~From Legend of the Guardians~ (Kind of a mix between the movie, the books, and my mind. XD wink
The 'Spazz'
Name: Digger
Species: Burrowing Owl
Gender: Male
Clan: Woodhaven
Coat Color/Patterns: Digger has bright greenish-yellow eyes and a slate grey beak. Most of his distinguishing marks are located around his face, including a predominant outline of white around his face, ranging from eyebrow-like markings that follow down to his beak, and a strange almost beard-like marking of white that stretches along the bottom of his face. From the neck up in the front and all the way down his back he is mostly light-dark brown color flecked with spots of white. His front from the neck down it almost the complete opposite, white with flecks of brown until it fades to pure white down his stomach to his claws which are a dull grey to match his beak.
He also has a feather or two atop his head that are slightly longer and always seem out of place, giving him a slightly disheveled look.
Eye Color: Bright Greenish-yellow
Edits: A mask like those in the references. Perhaps a more simpler design made of wood with markings etched into it. It should be a dark green in color trimmed with either gold or white. I'd like for it to not obscure his face, so maybe have it hanging from around his neck on a string, or maybe resting against his back. Also a pair of gnarled old sticks of petrified wood which he uses to fight. (Petrified wood looks really crazy cool, so however you want to do them~ XD; )

Digger is, first and foremost, a bit of a spazz. He's quirky, slightly paranoid, and more than a little jumpy. All of this does a good job at hiding the fact that underneath it all, he's actually quite a bright owl. He has a very good sense of logic, and while one might see it simply as 'splitting hairs', it usually gives him a good handle on what's going on even if it seems like he hasn't a clue.
Digger is certainly more lax than his friend Twilight. Though they both see themselves as guardians of the forest, Digger is not too fond of fighting. Not to say he couldn't handle himself in a tussle because he could, he'd rather protect his home his own way. Despite being a bird, Digger seems more surefooted and able on the ground than his brethren and is actually quite fond of digging and burrowing. A strange hobby for a winged creature! Nonetheless, it helps provide him cover where he excels best, scouting. This strange little owl is more prone to observing strangers and outsiders as opposed to a headlong charge and confrontation. After properly observing and judging their intentions he will leave them alone or deal with it, either by himself or calling Twilight in to handle the situation.

The 'Poet Warrior'
Name: Twilight
Species: Great Grey Owl
Gender: Male
Clan: Woodhaven
Coat Color/Patterns: Twilight has bright yellow eyes a matching beak, and black claws. Mainly his entire body is a dark greyish with undertones and a webbing of black, this goes for his face too, but he also has a very distinguishable mask of colors for his face. There is are dark nearly black rings around his eyes, followed by white half circles around each eye that meet at his beak. He also has a stripe of black that splits his forehead and the lower portion of his face. The grey of his face is distinctly lighter than the rest of his body, which makes for a ring like effect of dark around his face. The outsides of his wings are also darker than the rest of his body, with the pinion feathers being near black.

He also needs his lute to bash enemies with. The video is the only thing I can find with it in. It's just a dull, gnarled, and spindly lump of petrified wood that Digger found while digging around one day. He's only got 4 strings on it.
