Aujigweybermanoth was getting comfortable in his new lands. Well, he hoped to be his new lands. He had been accepted, and that was the best part, but not the hardest. The hardest was being accepted by everyone, not just the main group. He was a bit of an odd ball, he had to admit himself. Goofy, and funny, he loves to try to make other's laugh. Though some don't really like being made to laugh. At least that's what he had grown to notice. His name was Brightnight, or at least that's what he was going to go by. He felt it did him well.
Grinning up as he stopped. He wanted to play down a bit, and watch the world pass by. It had been an exhausting day for him, it was nice to relax a bit. He lowered himself slowly, didn't want to accidentally sit on a rock, or something by mistake. That wouldn't feel too pleasant. It was quite a lovely day, or so he thought. It wasn't too hot, or too cold. Which was just how he liked it.

Swiftwater
Her eyes were beginning to adjust to the morning sun as she exited her den. Her paws touched the earth with haste as she hurried to get to where she wanted to be. She was thirsty, and the watering hole was close by. She wasnt a fan of running, not really, but walking quickly? Trotting? Yeah that she would do. Her black pelt took in the heat of the sun, and her blue markings shone like paint along her body. She had been named after that blue color. She had reminded her mother of water, and that was what Swift loved the most. She loved being apart of nature.
The river was rather empty, the shores not covered by animals of all shapes. It must have been too early for them, she thought. She sighed, at least she didnt have to worry about others. She lowered her maw, and began lapping at the water graciously. It coursed down her throat and she drank greedily. When she was done, she lifted her head, and lowered her body to the muddy earth. Sure, she'd get dirty, but sometimes the best thing to do during a hot day was have mud on you, right?

After a moments rest, Brightnight decided it was time to move on. He was the type that didn't like to hold still for too long. It made things boring and uninteresting. He hopped to his feet shortly after laying down. If anyone had been watching, it would have looked as if something had frightened the male. Which wasn't true, Brightnight was hard to frighten sometimes. His tail instantly started to wag as he started moving on from the spot he was sitting.
He could hear water in the distance which made him rather thirsty. At least, it made him realize he was thirsty. When was the last time he actually sat down and took a drink? Well.. way earlier that morning. But still, he couldn't get the feeling of dry mouth out now. He needed a drink. The water sounded good, and stuff. He started moving the way the water was coming from. Or at least, that's where he thought it was coming from.

She didnt expect anyone to be approaching. Inf act she was almost positive she had the river to herself. But she should have figured that a river so bountiful wouldnt remain alone for long. She cocked her head, perking an ear as she waited for the other to approach. She didnt want to just be out in the open.. no. .She wanted to do something that would be fun. She smiled, a mischevious glint in her eyes, and ducked into a bush thats roots touched the earth and twisted all the way down into the water.
She wanted to make sure that she had the element of surprise. That was how best you hunted.. Right?

Reaching the river at last, he lapped up some as soon as he stuck his nose by the running cold water. Oh it was refreshing as it went down his throat into his belly. He had no clue he wasn't alone, but that wouldn't bother him even if he knew. He loved others. His tail pounded on the ground behind him as he licked up as much water as he could.
When he was done he quickly lifted his head up and yawned. Oh, what a day had been! He stretched his paws out and watched the moving water. He loved his life.

When the male was least expecting it, she grinned and leapt out of the shrubbery with a excited squeal. "IVE GOT YOU." She yelled, wrapping her paws around his tail as she pawed at it trying to get it to hold still.
She was so proud of herself. She knew momma would be too. Looking up at the male she grinned a bit.
"Hi! Im Swiftwater." She announced proudly.

Aujigweybermanoth jumped, but also started to laugh. Even though it was scary, the young voice that followed made it funny as well. He looked around for a god couple seconds to see who it was. To his delighted surprise, it was a pup. "You're good! You got me good!" He said with laughing it off some more. Puppies were always cute and always knew how to make everything fun. One never knew happiness until they saw the laugh of a child. At least, that's what He always though.
"Swift you are!" he said with another chuckle. "I'm Brightnight." he told the little one. The name suited him as well as her's suited her. Of course, his real name, he wasn't going to share. Not like anyone could pronounce it unless he helped them anyways. It was a mouthful.

When he jumped, she felt proud of herself. Momma would be so proud of her stalking skill when she heard about this! She was so excited to tell her and her little tail wagged like crazy. It was obvious she was an exciteable little pup. She just couldnt help herself!
"Yes I am! Im fast and momma's always been so smart. I know its because she just KNEW Id be fast." She said and grinned widely. She didnt know the politics of naming, or what went into it. She really just didnt understand that yet. But she was still sure her momma was just so smart.
"You are very bright. Your name is good for you too." She giggled, and looked him over entranced by his bright greens.
"Are you new? I dont meet alot of others, but Id have seen you before!"

"your name fits you just as well" He told her with a smile. What life in the pup, it made him feel happy. He didn't like seeing kids that didn't know how to have some adventures. Of course, sometimes adventures got them into trouble, but what was life without a little danger? Boring, that's what.
"Indeed I am!" He said with a bow. "Thank you for noticing, Swiftwater." He said with a smile. "Your name suits you in more than one way!" he added.
