First let me clearly say, I do not believe in conspiracy theories. I feel they are creations from people who are overly paranoid and think "someone" is out to get them.

I recently joined a guild on Gaia for "truth seekers" aka: Conspiracy theorists. One thread is totally dedicated to Zionists, which is used Synonomously with "jews". EVENTHOUGH OP says she doesnt think all Jews are Zionists, she uses "Jews" In place of "Zionists" CONSTANTLY.

Reeks of Anti-Semitism. And no one gives a flying fish.



Do you see what I mean? It moves from Zionists to how hateful Jews are.

You now know the credibility of a conspiracy theorist, they usually have little evidence other than outrageous rhetoric and if anyone tries to use things like "facts" or "science" then they are dismissed as part of the conspiracy.

Yes, I consider myself a Zionist. I'm kinda sick of Zionist being used as a dirty word. If it wasn't for Zionism, the entire Jewish populations of Yemen, Ethiopia, Iran, Iraq and possibly even Russia would be dead by now. I don't even mean by intermarriage (which is a reality Judaism will just have to learn to deal with, at least by 2040) but by outright slaughter, like what's happening to the Kurds.

In looking at the history of Zionism, it's pretty easy to think it's just a bunch of pissed off Jews taking out their anger at the poor Palestinians over something the Germans did to them, but German actions were only a small part of the larger picture. There were also the Jerusalem riots, the Tsarist and later Soviet pogroms, the Handschar SS. . .

Believe it or not, I have a relative (I believe a granduncle) who lived as a slave in a Muslim country before he went off to fight for the formation of Israel. It wasn't that he wanted to take over the world, or even that he expected to live long enough to pray at the Kotel. He had just had all he could take.

For the record, here are some fun facts about the early Zionists.

1. Herzl and Dreyfus did not want to settle in Palestine. Although there were religious Zionists at the time who dreamed of being able to pray at the Temple Mount, Herzl didn't want to open that can of worms. Dreyfus' solution was to buy a private island which was to be named Judea, but when the sellers found out he was Jewish, they kept his money and didn't give him the deed to the island.

2. When the Zionists were all but forced to settle for Israel, the plan was for a one-state solution with a Sharia court and a Rabbinical court, ultimately mimicking the Ottoman millet system. The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem promptly responded by organizing an attack on the Jewish community.

3. Nobody predicted that Hebrew would even be the official language of Israel. Herzl felt that Hebrew was too sacred to use, and at the time, nobody could even guess at how to order a tram-car ticket in Hebrew. Herzl also considered Yiddish too vulgar, but the Yiddishist movement disagreed.

4. During the 1948 war of independence, the newly formed IDF was very poorly armed. They narrowly escaped annihilation using an an improvised mortar called Davidka. Though it was only noisy and didn't do much damage, the Egyptian and Jordanian armies (along with the rest) assumed it had to be a nuclear bomb, since Albert Einstein was Jewish. Think about it. It was all the standing armies in the Middle East up to and including that of Yemen and Arabia, and they fled like Frenchmen because they thought a weapon made from gunpowder and scrap iron was Jew technology.

So, if you learn something from most of this post, it's that Zionists/Jews were pretty much always as weak and powerless as the Illuminati. But if you look at that fourth fact, I guess we should be happy everyone's so scared of Jews/Zionists. Maybe we'll achieve our nefarious goal of answering the "Who is a Jew?" question and bringing food, water and high-speed Internet to sub-Saharan Africa while the world wrings their hands in terror.
