Alright I don't want to offend anyone but...Really I'm sick and tired of seeing knitting patterns that require someone to use Dpns and Circular Needles...It really gets on my nerves when I am trying to find a knitting pattern that requires straight needles only. You know..regular knitting needles. So...I have this idea. While I'm on my quest of trying to find patterns like that...Maybe I can put them up so that other people don't have to search all over the internet like I did? Maybe there can be a section subforum for that. I can provide the gold for it if you guys want. ^-^ I think it will be helpful so that other knitters don't have to look all over the place for patterns so much.

I'm going to color myself confused about the OP. What is the complaint exactly...that patterns are written to be knit in the round? If that's the case, it's not difficult to convert it to flat knitting and vice versa. Is that the complaint, or am I missing something?

Er yeah that's pretty much the complaint. >_>;; I didn't know they could be easily converted into flat knitting.

Sure can - just pick which part you want to be the "side seam", and start there. Instead of knitting rounds, just knit back & forth. Only thing you'll have to watch for is the seams - you may need to add a plain knit stitch or two on either end to make a pattern work for joining at the sides
