Finally, classes were over for the day, ugh. After the whole shenanigans in the human world a little while ago, Aksaja couldn't help but feel like there was something going on at this school. I mean, who would try to lure students into a dangerous situation like that? Obviously someone up to no good - but did it seem like the faculty was doing anything at all about it? Of course not. Pfff.
It was all just 'go to class, do your homework, stay out of trouble'. Well, the lightning dragon was already getting a bit fed up with those lines. At least Spin the Bottle the other night had been pretty fun - for the most part.
Now, he was just looking forward to getting 'home', procrastinating on his homework a bit, then probably sleeping. Not much else to do tonight. Jack, he needed to find some ghouls or boils to go hang around with or something already.

Another long day had gone by, leaving Jericho ready to head home to try and relax and maybe get some work done. If not, a bit of gaming sounded rather nice right about now. Quite frankly, he wasn't looking forward to getting started on his homework yet anyway. He had time before they were due and all.
As usual, the day had been rather boring though; nothing really special had happened. Then again many of the days at this school were like that. While there were those moments of chaos here and there, the bulk of it all seemed rather drab.
Making his way towards the monster dorms, he spotted a familiar form not too far off. It was Aksaja, who looked like he was heading back to his room as well.
"Yo Aksaja!" he called out with a wave. May as well kill some time for now and all. He didn't know a whole lot of this other dragon, and he did recall there were a few things he was curious of regarding him.

Aksaja paused upon hearing his name called, and turned slightly, spotting Jericho. He grinned and waved back, slowing down a bit so the other dragon boil could catch up. "Hey! Haven't seen you in a while." Not since Spin the Bottle, though he had a suspicion that bringing that UP might not start things off too well here.
He needed to hold onto people here, not drive them away. Well, and get them in the first place. Tch. "How're things?"

Seeing the other dragon slow down, Jericho picked up the pace a little so that he could catch up more easily. No sense in shouting across the courtyard and all. Once he was by Aksaja, he smiled a bit.
"Not too bad aside from the usual at least. Class is kinda a drag," he answered, "What about you?"

Aksaja groaned out loud at that, making a rather exaggerated face. "Yea, no s**t. I dunno why we have to take classes on stuff like plants. What does that have to do with scaring humans?" he muttered, shaking his head. "There's not really many good parties here, either. The ones that seem fun . . . something happens." Referring of course to the incident in Spin the Bottle.
"And I dunno about this whole homework thing. I'm not good with plants. Or reading books. Or anything like that." His tail twitched about in an irritated fashion. "Wonder when one of those exhibition things will open up again over in the gym . . . I'd like to snag a battle pass."

Frowning at the mention of a plant class, Jericho was glad he didn't sign up for that one. Plants were not something he was interested at all, which was rather apparent with his little adventure with Tsetsiliya awhile back. Though, he couldn't help but quirk a brow at the mention of parties. It did seem that this dragon was a bit of a party animal.
"Feh. While you have to deal with plants, I'm stuck learning about etiquette," he practically spat out, "I hate that class so much."
At the mention of the exhibitions, he nodded while looking over in the general direction of the gym.
"No kidding. I need to get myself one of those too. It'd be one hell of a way for me to vent."

The lightning dragon snorted softly. "Wow, etiquette? Sounds like a complete drag." He'd managed to get out of that class (for the moment) because his father had drilled 'proper' manners and such into him when he was younger. Wincing at that memory, he shoved it away quickly.
Looking up then, Aksaja realized they'd reached the doors of the dorm. And it wouldn't be much fun to just . . . stand around outside talking. "Y'wanna come up to my room? Or yours, if you want, either way."

"It is. Wish I could get out of it but I'd never hear the end of it from my parents if I dropped it," he grumbled before pausing as they reached the entrance of the dormatory. It seemed, though, that Aksaja had a similar thing in mind as he.
"Sure thing. I've got time to kill and all," Jericho nodded to him, "Lead the way."

"C'mon then," Aksaja said with a grin and stepped back . . . then he ran a short distance and jumped up into the air, wings beating down strongly to carry him higher. It was honestly easier to get to the entrance of his dorm room like this than to go in the building and climb all the stairs and such.
Things like the secondary entrance to the outside - up where no one but a flyer or very good climber could reach it - was why he'd chosen the room he had.

Raising an eyebrow for a moment, Jericho soon grinned before launching himself into the air after Aksaja to follow him. It seemed he had a room fairly high up in the building, not that it bothered him at all since he was quite capable of flight still. Besides, it felt nice to have to use his wings sometimes.
"How high up are you?" he shouted to the other dragon, hoping his voice carried over the wind.

"Just over here," Aksaja called back, landing after a few minutes on a little kind of platform that jutted out from the building. There was a door there, which he opened and then moved inside so Jericho would have room to land. "I wanted one on the top floor so I could get in and out this way. So much better than climbing a lot of stairs," he commented with a grin.
(( see his journal for descrip. of room I'm lazy lololol ))

"Heh, I don't blame you," nodded Jericho as he landed soon after Aksaja. Giving his wings a good stretch, he tucked them back into their resting position before looking around the room. It was vaguely reminiscent of his own room, with its cavelike structure and all, not that he could blame the other dragon for this. The room had to be large enough to accomondate the true form and all. Speaking of such, he hadn't quite seen Aksaja's true form.
"Nice pad," he commented while taking it all in, "So what kind of dragon are you anyway? I would have thought a blue but... that doesn't quite seem right."
The bulk of his draconic knowledge were of the chromatic and metallic dragons. He was well aware of other types out there, but he wasn't as familiar with them.

Aksaja blinked at that. Blue . . . ? Exactly what part of him was blue? Nothing, really. So where in the world had Jericho come up with that idea? It was pretty easy to see that Jericho was a fire type after all. Shouldn't what he was be equally obvious?
"Lightning," he said, as if that much should be obvious. Oh, wait. Maybe where Jericho came from there were different types? "I had assumed . . . that you were a fire type of some kind?" he said, making it a question.

So Aksaja was simply a straight up lighting type? So he was from a different place after all. Well... colors aside Jericho felt he wasn't too far off. To the question, he gave a nod.
"I am. I'm a red dragon to be exact. Where I'm from the dragons with lightning properties are either blue or bronze.. well of the primary species at least," he explained. While bronze probably would have fit better in terms of color scheme, he didn't like to think that there'd be any metallics going to this school. There'd be some real potential for issues there. Especially if any silvers were around. Not that he ever personally met any, but he heard of some nasty stories regarding the metallics from his parents.
"I'm guessing your home has multiple dragon species as well then?"

"Eh, it's not really . . . species so much as types," he replied, wiggling hand a bit in the air. Really, it was easier to show the other what he meant. "Here," he said, backing up a little. Then he concentrated for a few minutes and shifted into his full dragon form.
"All of us pretty much have the four legs, two wings thing going on. I've heard there's some kinda dragon LIKE thing with only two legs, but I've never seen them. Past that . . . features, coloring, whatever usually much matches what we can do. My . . . father is a Storm dragon, he's pretty big and dark colored. My mother is a Light dragon and she's small, white and gold colored," he explained - though for some reason he seemed a bit reluctant to talk about his family.
