This often led to fights with other children. He soon grew to hate the neighborhood children. At one point, all he had to worry about was an occasional confrontation. Once the other children learned that that couldn't beat him in a one on one fight. They started banding together in groups to hunt him. They would them kick the crap out of him until he left the area or ran home. Others were far more cowardly about it. They would only insult him when near an authority figure. Or while in one of those gangs that called themselves the neighborhood watch.

He heard about the existence of magical creature. This was very interesting to him. He had very little knowledge of any of the folk lore. So, he wasn't influenced by any of the stories of old. His goal was to find someone that could teach him magic. Then, he could defend himself from the attacks that he had to endure or avoid on a regular basis.

Waverly yawned. It had been a late night. Protecting central park from dusk to dawn is no easy feat. Especially with all the cracks forming and growing bigger in the Samhain gate. She wondered how much longer she could last. Waverly climbed out of bed and padded over to the balcony of her penthouse. She was dressed only in her pajamas, light blue shorts and a matching camisole, but she could care less. The fresh wind whipped around her, the air smelled of ozone as it does after a big rain shower. It had been horrible, standing in the rain and fighting off all those evil Fae who tried to sneak past, but she somehow managed to do it, with no help from the others.

Lorelei flitted around the Autumn kingdom, wreaking havoc. How much she loved to cause trouble and danger! She was like a mini Mabh! When she had woken up that morning, the air was full of the prospect of damage and mischief, perfect! Now here she was, starting fires and terrorizing people in her own home! But it wasn't all a surprise in the Borderlands. The Wild Hunt was still very much alive. Compared to them, she was just a pesky fly. But Lorelei was bound to change that!
