It doesn't matter if you are a solitary practioner or if you are a part of a coven or group. You don't have to be of a particular path to join and you don't even half to know what your path is yet. The Pagan community is there for you. The PA Pagan community is working hard to spread the word and message to others. Not in a shove it down people's throats and going door to door sort of way but in a nice "hey we are here" sort of way. Depending on where you live depends on how your group will be. Places to help you find the community is yahoo, google, witchvox and CUUPS. I found my community through witchvox and CUUPS. Granted be smart and safe about it, any proper group has the appropriate public meeting places. Our group meets at a church or at places like restaurants or Barnes and Nobles. It is a great way to get our presence known and there is a lot of information that is passed around to help you learn. I know some of you may be thinking, I haven't heard about any pagan groups around my area. I was surprised myself but there are several meet up groups and a coven in my area. That's not including all the stuff in the larger cities around here either. So if you are interested, I wish you luck in finding your group. If you need help finding a group I can help you look but it is a lot of fun and a great way to learn.

I am personally done with groups. I keep running into the maturity issue. No matter how old, they still act like a bunch of high schoolers.
I wish anyone luck finding their group. Be very cautious.

The one thing I really enjoy about both groups that I associate with is not only are they a mixture of paths but also of genders. I love the mixture of paths because we can learn from each other and about each other. Plus with such a mixture there is so much more tolerance of different ideas; so there is none of that "you are on a different path than I am so I don't/can't accept your ideas and such". Having a mixture of men and women leads to less cattiness. It also doesn't hurt that most of the members with my groups are in their 50s or 60s.

Most of my massage class are pagans. They are of the fluff sort. My new teacher seems to be not that sort. So it is easier to talk to him. But I am still finding a lot of people that are more into paganism for shock value, than for spirituality. Hopefully some day soon, these people will wake up.

I don't think fluffy fits several of the Pagans I know, I think A-hole is more accurate.

Just to clarify, I don't mean anyone in here. Just the local Pa Pagan community. Some of the people are awesome, usually the elders of the group though, others not so much.
