I think Bright Eyes is really good ... but Lover I Don't Have to Love is seriously crap. The lyrics are good (though not as good as, say, Easy/Lucky/Free or First Day of My Life) but the actual song is ... blegh.
Agree? Disagree? Wanna get some pie?

Conor Oberst is an amazing song writer. His music is just so great.
I think the only song I don't like is Well Whiskey.
I love Haligh, Haligh, A Lie, Haligh and I Don't Know When But A Day Is Gonna Come
Lifted is one of the greatest cd I've ever heard.

Conor Oberst is a very talented singer and he's also kinda cute rolleyes . My favorite song of his is No Lies Just Love and If Winter Ends.

yes, Brigyht eyes is one of my favvie bands. I like /most/ of their songs. With a few 'ifs', I guess. I like the whole 'I'm wide awake, it's morning 'album, though.
Conor is like, an amazing poet. or whatever you call it. I wish I could put words together like that crying

I personally like 'Lover I dont have to Love'..
I like most of his songs....'cept for 'Saturday as Usual'....it just really annoyes me with the low quality of the recording...and considering he recorded that song in his basement..it doesnt help
