The opening lyric from Me Gusta Cola by FIRST BLOOD blared throughout the FWD arena as Nikki Blade stepped through the curtain.
"From Anaheim, California please welcome 'The Dagger' Nikki Blade"
She started walking down the aisle high fiving the fans and even giving a few of them a hug or two before she slides into the ring and climbing up the turnbuckle she makes the Straight-Edge Cross and the Mutoh Love Pose before climbing down the turnbuckle.
She sees Justin and smiles at him then waves and awaits her promo battle opponent Astrid Taylor

The Jet's - Are you gonna be my girl? played as Astrid feeling out of her element stepped out onto the stage her usual entrance method of rising from the center omitted for the time being. It felt weird to her entering using her pro's music especially since it didn't suit her style in the least but she smiled at the fans as she twirled her parasol behind her and walked on. Hitching up her skirt she stepped up onto the steel stairs and walked onto the apron. Looking behind her at the camera she gave a smirk and then a wink before shaking her hips then entering closing the parasol in the process.
As she entered the ring she wondered what she was to learn from this. Why were they putting her into a promo battle against a pro instead of another rookie? Why were they putting her into a promo battle at all even when she had specifically made the point to point out the fact she didn't really speak on her application.
Whoever it was making these match cards she concluded must be a sadist. Suddenly she missed her brother.

"Thanks girls for making it. Now, I'm sure you both know by now that promos are key to being successful. They help you get known and heard. Now Astrid, I know you don't like to talk, but maybe we could get you a possible spokesperson after if you wish. However, this time, try your hardest to do it yourself.
Getting started, I will give you both a topic. One will get a wrestler, they can choose the hate or praise this person, and the other will get a random thing from my head.
Astrid, you may go first and promo about the superstar, owner of EWA and FWD, Chrono Clepsydra!
Nikki, after she's done, go ahead and promo about skirts.
Begin!"

Bianca nodded to Astrid leaning in to speak up to her.
"just do the best you can sugar, that's all we can ask."
With that she beamed a smile to the doll of FWD.

  Nuke: "Interesting; so Astrid's going to have to promo on the ever-dominant Chrono."
Arc: "So what would you say about the man, god, or whatever he is?"
Nuke: "Nothing. If I wanted to make an impact, I'd just set about trying to take him down. Easier said than done though, unfortunately."
Arc: "Well any pointers for Astrid?"
Nuke: "Just one thing; you can't please everyone. If she praises Chrono, she becomes one of those sheep who just go by his reputation, and not by what she actually thinks about him as a wrestler."
Arc: "And if she goes the other way, and disrespects him?"
Nuke: "Then she will have my respect, but she'd best watch her back. As I said; you can't please everyone."

Astrid was touched that the people around her were encouraging her on but sadly it seemed as if they just didn't quite understand why it was that she didn't talk. Nor did they realize that it was always Wilhelm who did the talking for a reason.
Well there was only one way to show them.
Taking the microphone in hand she brought it to her lips and opened her mouth, there was a small clicking sound before the words started to come and the speakers let out a loud crack of feedback. Astrid continued to speak sending apologetic glances to the people holding their hands over their ears as the speakers continued to shriek before she finally stopped figuring they got the point of her reluctance.
She looked to the others before handing the microphone over holding her head up refusing to look down at the travesty of what had just transpired.

Nuke: "Why do I think that was planned?"
Arc: "Sorry, I can't hear you, there was a speaker right next to my ear."
Nuke: "I still think she planned that. Make her say it again!"
Arc: "Say what again?"
Nuke: "Comment on Chrono again, like she was supposd to. If I had to rate her out of 100, I'd give her a 69 .. Then give her a rating."
Arc: "It was obviously just a tech fault."
Nuke: "Of course it was, of course .."

After lowering her hands from covering her ears. Bianca got up close to a disappointed Astrid trying to console her from the looks of it.
"Shh... its ok hun..."
She then once more beamed a warm smile to Astird.

Justin shook his head a little bit. Pulling out a piece of paper and a pencil, Justin walked over to the unhappy Astrid and handed the tools to her.
"Like I said, maybe a spokesperson would help, but at least you tried. Right down what you have to say on this piece of paper, and Bianca will speak for you."

She mouthed a sorry to them before taking the pencil and paper and lifting up her leg to use her upbent thigh as a surface began to scribble down her thoughts quickly yet clearly. After a few moments of silence she smiled before handing it over to Bianca.

After a few moments Bianca took both Astrid's note and a mic
"Ok Sugar... lets see whats on this doll's mind shall we FWD fans?!"
The fans cheered on waiting for the "belle brawler" to be the voice of the Doll known as Astrid.
"Ahem! What can I say about Chrono? I've heard a lot of things about him: that he is a great and innovative wrestler the likes we rarely see, and that he is sadistic and cold hearted when it comes to business. Honestly I've never met the man personally so I can't say what is true about the man and what isn't. But I have seen him in past matching and on highlights and they have made even my clockwork heart race."
Bianca looked up at Astrid."Just remember that he IS MARRIED sugar..." she said as the fans laughed a little.
"But what I can say is this, Chrono has made the EWA the place to be. He has drawn together some of the greatest wrestlers past, present, and I know he will continue to do so in the future to give you the fans the best of the best wrestling entertainment out there. And I am proud to be standing here in this ring with my pro tonight; even if I get eliminated right here and right now nothing will change that fact."
More cheers could be heard now with a few chants of "Astrid" piping out among them. As Bianca continued on.
"If there's anything more I can say is this I want to wrestle in the company of a man who doesn't quit, whose drive is so great that even when seriously injured and in need of care he would still fight the fight. Because that is a man who won't let this company fall in rank to some second hand show and won't let his hired talents give him nothing but their all."
After that was said Bianca closed the note before putting the mic back to her lips.
"Ladies and Gentlemen of FWD, "the Doll" Astrid Taylor everyone!! give her a round!!"

Nikki just stood there as she heard the, literally, well written promo that Astrid had made. Man it was going to be hard to top that one for sure, especially with a topic such as skirts.
She held the mic up to her mouth and began to speak "Well, that certainly was an enticing and tear jerking promo." she said before taking a brief pause "Now it's my turn to talk about skirts."
She took a moment to scratch at her head before she lifted the mic back up to her mouth "Now skirts, that is an interesting thing to talk about in its own right." she paused again as she kept thinking of some way to make a good promo "Skirts have made a wonderful impact on modern society. They let us enjoy the legs of all those sexy female celebrities, they've given us open legged crotch shots of said sexy females celebrities, she said as the crowd laughed a bit at what had been said
"Now I can go on and on, saying more stupid jokes about skirts like I did a moment ago but I would much rather just put a stop to it, because really there isn't that much more I can say about the topic of skirts that would be relevant or interesting to you folks. So lets move on"

"Now that's round 1, time for round 2. Nikki, go ahead and promo next about the company known as EWA.

((sorry for the delay, to be honest I forgot about this))
Nikki stood there for a moment a hand on her chin thinking of what she was going to say about EWA "EWA, hmm what can I say about EWA she began to speak as she took a step forward. "Well EWA, is obviously the company owned by the madman known as Chrono Clepsydra, but EWA is known for more then just that fact, it's known for giving everyone a fair chance of earning their spots." the crowd let out a small cheer for what Nikki had mentioned
"In EWA, the superstars don't have to worry about being denied a fair chance to try and prove they can hang with the best there is. she said as the crowd let out another cheer "In EWA the demon known as politics doesn't exist, the old veterans don't stay in the top spot without earning it, the younger talent is give the opportunity to show what they can truly do, no glass ceiling at all" she continued on as the fans had finally quieted down
"If there ever was a company that is always on the cutting edge of entertainment, it would be EWA" she paused for a moment before resuming to speak "EWA has given a chance to several young up and comers such as our host Justin Amaze, my older brother Kid Omega, Matt Draven, and even my promo battle opponent Astrid Taylor. So if any would be wrestlers out there are watching this I highly advise you to go to try and make it into EWA, that is definitely the place to be." she stopped as the fans erupted into a loud cheer and began chanting "Eee Dub Ay!", she then stepped back and motioned for Astrid to give a crack at it once more
