 Questing for a dream dog is generally easy and everyone is eligible to do so. Questing is a great way to work on an original character, get some feedback from the other regulars of the shop, and even some help with funding. And, if you're lucky, your quest may be picked by the staff of Woof! and your dream dog will be granted to you for free! To find out more, read below!

 So what is questing?
Questing is pretty much what it sounds like -- a quest to get the dog(s) of your dreams. We understand that breedables can be pretty expensive these days and not everyone can afford such pets. However, we don't want this discouraging people from the shop and we don't want to make the obtainment of these dogs impossible. With that in mind, this subforum was created for those who are seeking help or those looking for a place to work on their dog characters.
For those in need of help with funding, your thread can be made and you may ask for donations to help you reach your goal. While it may take some time and persistence, you'd be surprised at the generosity of the breedables world and even Woof! itself!
For those attempting to build an original character, your quest thread can be made and you can request critiques and assistance for the creation of your dream dog. Get some help writing a backstory, get help with your dog's design, a reference picture, anything -- it's up to you.
How am I eligible to have my dream dog be picked by the staff?
While everyone is allowed to make a quest thread and quest for their dream dog, the staff of Woof! is specifically looking for those who have been dedicated to their quest. In order for us to even look at your thread, your quest must be at least one month old! This way, we know you've had some time to develop your dog's character, design, and stick to the work that comes along with questing. We want some good roleplay out of a custom dog we give away for free, so we need to make sure you've worked hard!

Need help with your thread? Making a quest thread is a pretty simple process that you have complete control over when it comes to set up, looks, content, etc. However, if you're struggling with ideas or you have clue how to at least make a foundation for your quests, we've laid out some tips and suggestions below to get you started!

 Inroduction
If you want people to help you out, you're going to have to draw them in with an introduction. Explain what your quest thread is about, why you think he or she would make a good dog, and show your dedication to your character! Accompanied with a nice, eye-catching title banner, you'll have people reading the rest of your thread instead of clicking the back button!
News and Updates
Let your viewers/donators/helpers know how you're doing and where you're going! Updates are a great way to show progress and to show that you are, in fact, dedicated to what they're putting their money or time into to help you out.
About the Quest
How long have you been a part of the shop? Why did you chose this idea for a dream dog? Why is it that you would like to obtain him/her? Give us some background information about your dream dog before introducing us!
The Dog
You can use the shop's custom form, or create your own to post all the necessary information on your dream dog. Show us its personality, its backstory, its family history, etc. If possible, draw a picture of what you would like he or she to look like to give people a good idea of what you're creating.
Your Funds
Track your progress! Let us know how much gold you're going to need and how much you've received so that potential donators can give you their gold according to your needs. Put a nice list of all the people who have already donated to your quest along with the amount to show your appreciation and progress!
Additional Information
Anything else you wish to add is perfectly acceptable. Maybe you want to use your quest thread for more than one quest? Have a section about you? The more detailed and organized your thread is, the better it is on people's eyes and brain when navigating. An organized thread will also keep potential helpers within your thread instead of making them leave in a confused daze.
