I was going to lock this because I thought it would be a repeat topic, but to be honest, it's completely new. ^^
I love bird watching; I'm trying to get better at it. I've bought a book, and I've checked out a couple more at the library, own two pairs of binoculars, and my field of study in the future will be ornithology, but more towards raptors. What part of the world do you live in and what kind of birds do you get to see often? How long have you been practicing?

I like to watch birds, whether fyling, hopping around, building nests or diving in to a lake to get water. Their form is very nice

I don't actually bird watch properly, with the gear and all that, though I do just sit down and watch them xD so I kind of do, and I enjoy it.

Heh, when I go out on camping trips I always take peeks at birds when I get the chance. When I was younger I made my parents and sister stop the little hike so I could look at a blue-jay.

not all people r true bird watchers u no some r twitchers this means that all the birds in there country have 2 be seen so they will hunt every where 4 1 bird and when they av found it they go straight 2 the next bird on there list and these people will destroy things like wildlife and fences just 2 get 2 a bird. I think that is really horrid. R any of u twitchers?

I like watching birds. As long as my cats aren't out there trying to catch them.. sweatdrop I always go and talk to the birds at the pet store, too. xp People there probably think I'm nuts.

I like birds, once we can afford it, we're turning our whole back yard into an aviary....well not the whole backyard...The birds side will be closed off so our cats can go out back but can't get out of the yard. (people do awful things to animals here)
